12 inch Green Pep, Onions, Mushroom Thin Crust
    R S.

I'm a Chicago native and Rosatis was part of our family dining for years. Always get the thin crust in Phoenix and did the same up in Prescott. Pizza is always consistent, esp the obvious cheese, sauce, crust. Added side Italian salad and everything was crisp & fresh. 12 inch GP, Onions, Mushroom for delivery. Pizza was hot upon delivery.

I've lived here 9 yrs and my biggest regret is not having come here sooner! I've had amazing pizza from all over, but this is by far the absolute best!! I'm sad that I had never been here before. What a sheltered life I've lived allowing myself to eat sub par pizza from dominoes or that other place. After this nothing will ever taste good to me. The restaurant was clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly and professional . If you're a tourist looking for good food this should be on your itinerary. I highly recommend coming here. 14 inch monster deep dish, well done... you have to try it!

We love their thin crust pizza, but haven't tried any of the others. They have a deep dish Chicago style pizza that looks very good. Every time we have been there, the service is good and the staff friendly and quick to respond. This is our go to favorite pizza in town now.

The pizza tastes good, but it was a bit too greasy. The crust was crispy, but the toppings were not evenly spread. Service was fast and the staff was friendly.

Experience it. Learn from what you experience and take that back to Prescott. In sum, the food (while Italian style) was not at all representative of authentic Italian culture. The warmth of being in an Italian home like many establishments throughout Italy and the U.S. was not present. And the food! The sauce was amateurish at best - composed of huge chunks of canned stewed tomatoes than actual sauce. The chicken (in my Chicken Parmesan) was intensely dry and rubbery which tells me that the breasts we're made and then frozen. The pasta was regular cheap grocery store pasta. The salad - "Italian" dressing - tasted it came from a commercial brand. Lastly the service, was ok at best. No one offered or was even around to give us fresh grated Parmesan cheese or fresh cracked pepper in our salad. The bread served on the table was good and our Aperol Spritz was excellent. Overall, I suppose we should have expected this... ethnic food in a small town is far more "miss" than it is "hit" but I did appreciate how warm and inviting the atmosphere is. Sorry... I just want people who come from out Of town who have traveled and experienced many beautiful versions of of the Real Thing... this is not that.

It was full of patrons for dinner and we were seated right away in a cozy booth. Strangely the table was far short of the seating. The menu is broad with all the typical Italian selections. We put in our drink order and I had a Argentine Malbec. It was rich and delicious. We started with an appetizer of Arancini. These traditional fried rice balls were huge, two of them. Mixed with peas and other tasty ingredients, the exterior were nice and crunchy. Cooked perfectly they were delicious with a cup of Marinara to pour over them. The pizza we ordered was the 18" Mediteraneo with grilled chicken, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and a pesto sauce. The 18" was very adequate sized for four hungry people with some left over. The pizza was good yet a bit off in that the cheese overpowered everything else. I do not recall eating any chicken or tasting the pesto. The ricotta seemed to be a unique ingredient yet it doesn't seem to set properly as if it was applied frozen (?) The service was extroadinary, so friendly and accommodating. The only mistep which is probably a kitchen problem is we waited and waited for the appetizer. When it finally arrived the pizza arrived literally right on top of it with not enough room on the table. I'd return to try some of their other Italian offerings.

LaBruzza's is a hole-in-the-wall family run restaurant that is located in a very unexpected place. I mean if you don't know, you won't know!!! It's off a busy street, but next to a body shop in a not so kept-up parking lot. The outside is nothing to write home about, but the inside is rather quaint and what you would expect from an Italian restaurant (red and white checkered tablecloths, dark lighting, and random autographed photos of previous customers). We were told there is usually a wait, but we happened to go on a good day, because we arrived at 5PM and were seated almost immediately. We were a party of three and were seated at a somewhat tight-fitting booth, but with a little moving of the table, it worked! A house salad with creamy Italian dressing and a small loaf of bread were brought to the table soon after we sat and in addition to the menus, a large whiteboard with daily specials was brought out and placed before us. There were many dishes to choose from, but I think we all made our selections rather quickly. My husband ordered off the specials menu and got the 1/2 Parmesan Chicken and 1/2 ShrimpAlfredo. He really enjoyed both! Our friend who actually reminded us of this place, ordered the Cajun Shrimp. His dish was very well served and looked delicious. He said it was the best meal he has ever eaten at LaBruzza's! As for myself, I had to try the lasagna, which comes served with a meatball on the side, but I always have to try the Italian sausage and so I ordered a side and it actually came with two! I basically ordered way too much food, but it was worth it! My lasagna was so good. The sauce was perfect and the Italian sausages were spicy just how I like them. Unfortunately, I think I was full from the salad and bread alone, but I did get to take home my leftovers for the next day. YUM! The service was quite pleasant. Our server was very attentive and other staff kept our table cleared from dirty dishes and kept water glasses full. It is a very casual place and I imagine it can probably get a bit noisy. We just happened to be there on a non-busy evening (World Cup was on) and noise level was average for the amount of patrons. Prices are pretty average with seafood items being a bit more costly, which is not uncommon. I think the best part is that you can bring your own bottle of wine and they provide the glasses and corkscrew! This is so far the best Italian food that we have had since moving to the area. We will definitely be back!

The crab cakes were pretty bland and not worth $20. The waitress didn't check up on us again until we were done and came to refill my ice tea one time but halfway. It's located on West Gurley very close to the courthouse square with unmetered street parking all around the area. During the day it is a sandwich shop under a different name and in the evenings becomes this Italian restaurant. I had dinner there a couple of weeks ago and was skeptical after reading the Yelp reviews with several 5 star reviews given by reviewers who have given 1 review or just a few reviews overall. I have seen that happen before. Inside it is a table service eatery offering booths and tables with charming Frank and Dean type of music playing in the background. From the limited menu I chose their signature spaghetti entree for $22. First to arrive was a complimentary bread basket that had warm Italian bread with some pesto and garlic herb butter that was delicious. Then the Chef Italian Dressed Salad appeared as part of the meal. It had very fresh greens along with some cheese on top and I enjoyed it. Then the entree was delivered. It was a nice sized plate of 'ghetti with a red meat sauce on top with meatballs and sausage. I had the waiter add some Parmesan on top and then it was off to the races! This meal was delicious. I really liked the marinara and meatballs and the sausage was pretty good too and I usually don't like sausage. At the end I was full, happy and satisfied. I would definitely order this again. Also the table service was friendly and warm too. There are some very good Italian restaurants in Prescott and Vincenzo's Cucina is one of them. I look forward to returning.
