We are frequent patrons at Rosa's! 1-2 times a week! Last night and Monday night were two of the most uncomfortable and stressful meals ever! Food was ok, it would have been better if it wasn't sitting in the window for a period of time, which we watched happened. Service in general was very slow. We have heard that the majority of the staff is no longer there, which is very sad! We absolutely love Miss Airiana, as well as the sweet girl at the front, Amelia! At least a couple of the fellows are still around..for now... Joesph and Julian are quite the characters! The new manager never came by! Very heartbreaking to see such a huge change in just a few weeks time! Amanda was so wonderful and professional. She always stopped by to say hello and check on us no matter how busy the place was! She Always made us feel at home! The ambiance now feels cold, stressful and chaotic... I feel for the few staff members that are left. With a craving for pizza we found this place through a map search for restaurants as possible. The place is quaint with a Southwest ambiance. It was full of patrons for dinner and we were seated right away in a cozy booth. Strangely the table was far short of the seating. The menu is broad with all the typical Italian selections. We put in our drink order and I had a Argentine Malbec. It was rich and delicious. We started with an appetizer of Arancini. These traditional fried rice balls were huge, two of them. Mixed with peas and other tasty ingredients, the exterior were nice and crunchy. Cooked perfectly they were delicious with a cup of Marinara to pour over them. The pizza we ordered was the 18" Mediteraneo with grilled chicken, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and a pesto sauce. The 18" was very adequate sized for four hungry people with some left over. The pizza was good yet a bit off in that the cheese overpowered everything else. I do not recall eating any chicken or tasting the pesto. The ricotta seemed to be a unique ingredient yet it doesn't seem to set properly as if it was applied frozen (?) The service was extroadinary, so friendly and accommodating. The only mistep which is probably a kitchen problem is we waited and waited for the appetizer. When it finally arrived the pizza arrived literally right on top of it with not enough room on the table. I'd return to try some of their other Italian offerings. read more

Had a small 10" pepperoni pizza. The dough was incredibly light with lots of pepperoni. Also split a large Rosa salad. Very crisp lettuce, blue cheese and candied pecans were a nice touch. Toe mandarin oranges weren't really necessary. The raspberry vinaigrette wasn't my favorite. We will definitely be back to try the Marsala and the pasta. We sat outside and when they came out, they were great, but it was a little slow after we finished eating. read more

Absolutely pathetic experience. We spent around $60 on two pizzas ordered through Rosa's Pizza's website. When we showed up, they had completely forgotten our order and blamed it on "DoorDash". Instead of taking responsibility, we stood there waiting while they made our food from scratch. Then we got home, opened the boxes, and discovered the pizzas were raw. Not "a little underdone"--the dough was literally raw and the pizzas were basically inedible. After waiting forever and spending $60, we ended up with food that went in the trash. I called and spoke with the manager, and instead of apologizing and making it right, I got attitude. Her solution was for me to waste even more of my time and gas driving all the way back so she could "personally oversee" another pizza. Why would I trust the restaurant to get it right the second time after they forgot my order and served raw pizza the first time? To make things worse, she told me there was nothing they could do because it involved DoorDash and said I should dispute it through DoorDash. That turned out to be completely false. DoorDash told us they couldn't help with the order, leaving us stuck after spending $60 on food we couldn't eat. Everyone makes mistakes. Forgetting an order is one thing. Serving raw pizza is bad enough. But refusing to take ownership, giving customers incorrect information, and acting like this is somehow the customer's problem is what guarantees we'll never be back. If this is how Rosa's Pizza treats paying customers, there are plenty of other pizza places in Prescott that deserve your money more. read more

We went to Rosa's on a Monday for an early dinner (we were hungry). The inside was open with a view of the kitchen as you walk in. Sat in a booth and there are pictures of Sicily and Prescott. Meghan our server was polite and attentive without being overbearing. We started with garlic bread and marinara sauce, very good. My son had the cheese pizza which he devoured. My wife ordered the Baked Ziti and a Garden Salad. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and a Garden Salad. The Ziti was cheesy and tasty and the Chicken Marsala was on a bed of spaghetti with mushrooms and the Marsala sauce. It was very good washed down with a glass of the Conundrum red blend (reasonably priced). We ended the meal with Tiramisu which was tasty but lacked the bottom layer of espresso soaked sponge cake or lady fingers. I highly recommend Rosa's Pizzeria! read more

I can't speak of the service or ambiance, as all I got was a sausage and caramelized onion pizza to go. It was unremarkable. Undercooked dough in the middle, bland sauce, and not very many toppings. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but there is better pizza elsewhere in Prescott. read more

Followed reviews here and was very happy with the pizza we had. Best crust I've ever had. They were very busy with several large family groups, but service was great. Pizza came out quickly, service was fantastic and it's very really cool inside. This will be out pizza spot when we are in town. For those that find prices too high, my answer is you don't appreciate quality ingredients and the time it takes to make homemade dough and hand tossing your pie. My dearest and oldest friend and I are visiting Prescott, AZ and decided to try this restaurant for dinner due to its favorable reviews. Just walking in was a delight because it had that old time Italian restaurant feel. We were met a friendly server who immediately took us to a booth and asked what we would like for beverage. After reviewing the impressive menu, we each ordered small salads and my friend ordered spaghetti and I the chicken parmigiana with a side of spaghetti. The spaghetti was perfect (unlike an earlier other restaurant meal which looked like it came out of a can!) and seriously, this was the BEST Chicken Parmesan I have ever eaten. Amazing food undercut slightly by our experience. I want to first say that the server we had did her very best with the situation she was dealt, it was just a lot of factors stacked against her. We had a very large party (40+ people) come to Rosa's after a full morning of soccer. We called ahead several days before to make sure they could and would accommodate us. We called that morning to make double sure they were ready for us. Unfortunately when we got there, they were definitely not ready for us. Our party was not able to all sit together and there was a part of our party that wasn't being served. It became such an issue they almost got up and left. Other diners were visually annoyed they had to compete or sit amongst us. There was a weirdness happening between the two servers, like, palpable contention even. Our server told us she wasn't even supposed to work that day and had she not come in, our entire party would have had to leave because there was no way one person would've been able to take care of the entire dining room alone. It took a very long time for food to reach everyone, which, we were a large group and we did try and warn people ahead of time to bring their patience with them, but we had some hangry diners and the time clock ran out for a few of them. Okay, now the food. I loved they had the build a slice option, daily until 4pm, where they make their cheese pizzas and you can customized what toppings you want on it. The slices are oversized and hefty with toppings! They make their own hand tossed crust and that was the star of the show! That was until my daughter bit into her mozzarella stick and what she referred to as "the most epic cheese pull of all time!". TikTok worthy. Very legit. My daughter also got the kid's fettuccine alfredo and it was a really decent portion for a kid's size. I snagged a bite or two and the sauce was really flavorful. Perfect to pair with some garlic bread. They also had vegetarian and gluten free options. I would like to go back as a much, much smaller party and get to enjoy more of the menu. Rosa's has always been one of or favorite places in Prescott. We decided to dine there last night for our 31st wedding anniversary and I will say this is the first time we left disappointed. We ordered a Greek salad that looked nothing like a Greek salad. It was mostly lettuce with some Roma tomatoes, tiny bits of cucumber and a very tiny sprinkling of feta. The Godfather pizza we ordered was as good as always but my wife's linguini with clams was bland and lacking in seasoning. Beyond this, our service was shockingly poor. The restaurant was not busy last night yet the pizza sat on the kitchen counter for a very long time while our server attended to others. It finally arrived warm but the cheese was no longer melted. Additionally, when the pizza was brought to us our server noticed I didn't have a plate and said she would be right back with one. She then proceeded to serve other tables bringing them their food while I sat there staring at a pizza with no plate to eat with. The final observation is our server never asked us how was the food, never returned to ask if I wanted a drink refill or if my wife would like another glass of wine or even if we wanted anything else. All she did was bring us the bill. To me, this is very poor training and needs to be addressed quickly. We hope these issues are fixed. We may give Rosa's another shot sometime to see if this was a bad period they get past. But there are lots of good restaurants out there and poor service and poor food prep won't cut it. read more

I stopped by on a Monday just before noon. Nice decor showing items and maps from Prescott's history. Not too crowded and was seated right away. Big menu with all things Italian. I ordered a chicken parm sandwich. The food came out quickly and piping hot. Big roll cut in two, stuffed with breaded chicken parm slices, sauce, melted cheese. Absolutely delicious. We specially asked them how long it would take to get our pizzas and they said 15 minutes or less. We waited for 40 minutes after checking in multiple times. We finally got our pizzas and they were not even cooked all the way through, and the ones that we nibbled on didn't have ANY flavor??? Not even the salads or bread? It was very strange and were were so hungry that anything should have tasted good then lol. Our waitress was very kind and i could tell she was stressed but it was not her job to fix, it should have been the back and the front people but there was no communicating. This is always a go to when we're in Prescott! I've always loved every meal here whether it be pasta or pizza, but this time we got the grandma pizza and added meatball. This pizza is cravable! Loaded with crushed tomato, garlic, and tons of basil which I love. The meatball added extra protein and was delish. We started with the arancini and they are huge! You get two the size of softballs. Stuffed with creamy risotto peas and meat sauce. It was perfectly crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. We shared as an app between four adults and it was more than enough! We have been eating at Rosa's for years. Service is incredible and all employees are extremely nice. We recently were there a few weeks ago when the owner came in and yelled at the employees for 20 minutes! it was so rude and belittling. We were stunned. Found out later that this is a once a week ordeal for them. What a horrible way to treat your employees. Our favorite bartender was fired that same night. She is an absolute doll and amazing bartender. She has tons of regulars. Now we refuse to go there because of the owner's actions and are telling everyone we know So sad and unnecessary. I rarely take the time to complain, but server Taylor W. is in dire need of training in the basic skills and proper attitude related to her job. Too many issues to enumerate, we were made to feel like we were a bother to her. Rushed service, virtually no follow-up (we would have ordered more wine and dessert to eat-in), no friendly conversation (plenty of time for this at 4:30 in the afternoon), and a general disregard for us as valued repeat customers. Yum yum yum. The red sangria was so good. We started with the garlic bread knots. They were delicious and very garlicy. I ordered the chicken Parmesan. BIGGEST. CHICKEN. EVER. cooked perfectly. And came with angle hair pasta and vodka sauce. The baked ziti was really good. We got it with the meat sauce. The penne a la pesto was very creamy. It was a good meal but there are better options on the menu. We finished up with the tiramisu. It was the perfect finish to the dinner. The food came out insanely quick. Like really really quick.
