With a craving for pizza we found this place through a map search for restaurants as possible. The place is quaint with a Southwest ambiance. It was full of patrons for dinner and we were seated right away in a cozy booth. Strangely the table was far short of the seating. The menu is broad with all the typical Italian selections. We put in our drink order and I had a Argentine Malbec. It was rich and delicious. We started with an appetizer of Arancini. These traditional fried rice balls were huge, two of them. Mixed with peas and other tasty ingredients, the exterior were nice and crunchy. Cooked perfectly they were delicious with a cup of Marinara to pour over them. The pizza we ordered was the 18" Mediteraneo with grilled chicken, ricotta and mozzarella cheese and a pesto sauce. The 18" was very adequate sized for four hungry people with some left over. The pizza was good yet a bit off in that the cheese overpowered everything else. I do not recall eating any chicken or tasting the pesto. The ricotta seemed to be a unique ingredient yet it doesn't seem to set properly as if it was applied frozen (?) The service was extroadinary, so friendly and accommodating. The only mistep which is probably a kitchen problem is we waited and waited for the appetizer. When it finally arrived the pizza arrived literally right on top of it with not enough room on the table. I'd return to try some of their other Italian offerings. read more

Had a small 10" pepperoni pizza. The dough was incredibly light with lots of pepperoni. Also split a large Rosa salad. Very crisp lettuce, blue cheese and candied pecans were a nice touch. Toe mandarin oranges weren't really necessary. The raspberry vinaigrette wasn't my favorite. We will definitely be back to try the Marsala and the pasta. We sat outside and when they came out, they were great, but it was a little slow after we finished eating. read more

Go if you're ready to wait almost 2 hours for a pizza. Never have I been so torn on how to rate a restaurant. While the food was phenomenal, the wait time and the service were APPALLING to say the least. They don't take reservations so we arrived at around 4:45pm on a Saturday and were seated around 5pm. Waiter took drink orders after 10 minutes or so and brought those promptly. No issues. Same thing with appetizers. We ordered the cheesy garlic bread and it was great. Now...the pizza and the entree was another story. We waited for about 40 minutes before the waitress even noticed and came back to tell us that they were running behind. Then another 15 to tell us it had just gone in the oven and would be ready in 20. Offered to comp a dessert or appetizer for us to snack on while we waited. We got some garlic knots. The pizza showed up after another 20 minutes. So total wait time about an hour and a half. Except, we had ordered a pepperoni pizza and the one they brought was a cheese pizza at this point we obviously kept it and ate it. I asked the waitress for a to go container for my entree and she never brought one. Only one for the pizza. Finally, check comes back and they charged us for everything!! The appetizer they said they'd comp AND the pepperoni we never got in our pizza. My husband pointed it out and they of course fixed it. So yes, the food is great if you want to maybe show up on a Tuesday at 2pm. But I would never go back to this place if they paid me to eat there. read more

My dearest and oldest friend and I are visiting Prescott, AZ and decided to try this restaurant for dinner due to its favorable reviews. Just walking in was a delight because it had that old time Italian restaurant feel. We were met a friendly server who immediately took us to a booth and asked what we would like for beverage. After reviewing the impressive menu, we each ordered small salads and my friend ordered spaghetti and I the chicken parmigiana with a side of spaghetti. The spaghetti was perfect (unlike an earlier other restaurant meal which looked like it came out of a can!) and seriously, this was the BEST Chicken Parmesan I have ever eaten. Amazing food undercut slightly by our experience. I want to first say that the server we had did her very best with the situation she was dealt, it was just a lot of factors stacked against her. We had a very large party (40+ people) come to Rosa's after a full morning of soccer. We called ahead several days before to make sure they could and would accommodate us. We called that morning to make double sure they were ready for us. Unfortunately when we got there, they were definitely not ready for us. Our party was not able to all sit together and there was a part of our party that wasn't being served. It became such an issue they almost got up and left. Other diners were visually annoyed they had to compete or sit amongst us. There was a weirdness happening between the two servers, like, palpable contention even. Our server told us she wasn't even supposed to work that day and had she not come in, our entire party would have had to leave because there was no way one person would've been able to take care of the entire dining room alone. It took a very long time for food to reach everyone, which, we were a large group and we did try and warn people ahead of time to bring their patience with them, but we had some hangry diners and the time clock ran out for a few of them. Okay, now the food. I loved they had the build a slice option, daily until 4pm, where they make their cheese pizzas and you can customized what toppings you want on it. The slices are oversized and hefty with toppings! They make their own hand tossed crust and that was the star of the show! That was until my daughter bit into her mozzarella stick and what she referred to as "the most epic cheese pull of all time!". TikTok worthy. Very legit. My daughter also got the kid's fettuccine alfredo and it was a really decent portion for a kid's size. I snagged a bite or two and the sauce was really flavorful. Perfect to pair with some garlic bread. They also had vegetarian and gluten free options. I would like to go back as a much, much smaller party and get to enjoy more of the menu. It is worth the 2 hour drive to come to Rosa's especially if they have their Sicilian/Grandma's crust. This crust is magical and not always available. But don't fret, their regular pizza crust is phenomenal! And holy moly the vampires are no where near this place because the garlic knots are covered with it and it's fabulous. Went in on a Monday with my family for dinner. The waiter Bryant was very rude to me, and was hitting on my husband (keep in mind we've been married for 7 years). I have heard this place is a good place to be at or eat, but after this experience I wanted to give a fair warning for this location. Go elsewhere, because he even went as far as asking how old my husband HIS FOR HIS AGE how long we've been married while giving me odd looks. We had dinner at Rosa's before the Prescott Light Parade last night. When we lived in Prescott a few years ago, this was always a go- to place when we went out or a place we recommended to people who visited Prescott. Rosa's was just as great as we remember. The spaghetti and meatballs and the chicken parmesan were off the chain. Portions were very generous and the house bread was very good. Service, top notch and the atmosphere has not changed. Great little spot just a block away from the main strip in town. Great staff, super friendly and attentive. Next time I will definitely be trying their pizza. But, I always order a chicken parm at Italian restaurants as a good gauge. I will say the portions are huge, very generous. Came in late one Friday night (August 22, 2025) after a concert - I was so glad they were open! Had my usual Chicken Parm and it was fantastic as always, consistent great flavor, great service - everything was top notch! Ordered a large cheese pizza to go (I went to a concert that night alone so ordered this to satisfy hungry people at home). Got it home and they hated it! Said it was burnt. So I tried a piece myself - and they were right! Unbelievable!!! I really didn't want to write this review - but - this is probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. It was burnt on the bottom, my guess (first two jobs were in pizza shops on the east coast). They reheated an old leftover cheese pizza. The bottom was burnt but the cheese on top wasn't. This was not "an accident"........ I know it was the end of the night but you should have made a fresh one for a "valued" customer........... might be dropping down to my second favorite chicken parm discovered in this town.
