1st experience was 5 star. Excellent service even though they were busy. 2nd experience was 1 star. Showed up 1 hr 10 mins before closing but they had all the chairs up on the tables and they weren't seating customers. I understand the concept of not showing up 30 mins to close and expecting to dine in, but just over an hour? Lame. read more

Ashley, our waitress was incredible. Her service was amazing and a fabulous smile. Nino who made our amazing pizza today. We love love, love the crust. It was crispy and not greasy. We really enjoy it. I'm sure Steve the owner is great and a hard-working man who is trying to provide for his family. But under the current world it's very hard to make a profit. I hope someday, they a give the place a good cleaning and give it a face lift, it is well overdue. I did talk to gentleman and his wife that drove 15 miles today just to get your steak sandwich. They said there's no other like it in the area.. Their topping selection is weak. Calling a supreme pizza a MONSTER and having that be your only specialty pizza is weak. They have better pizza than anyone else in Chino Valley, but it is not hard to do when your only competition is Domino's or Pizza Hut. The prices are too high for how limited their options are. Save your time, drive all the way in to Prescott, and just get Bill's Pizza. It is way better in literally every single way. read more

Worst pie I ever had. Couple years back, picked one up on a week night. Tasted like cardboard. Green peppers were just dumped in one spot. Never again. This place seriously needs to fix their posted hours. We walked in tonight at 8:08 PM because Google says they close at 9:00 PM, and the owner immediately told us "no, no, no more pizza" and refused service. No explanation, nothing. We were there almost an hour before the listed closing time. This is not the first time we've shown up during posted business hours and been turned away, which makes the hours feel completely unreliable. If you're going to stop serving early or close whenever you feel like it, you need to communicate that to customers instead of wasting people's time. Really frustrating experience. read more

But what it lacks in ambience it more than makes up for in great food and efficient service. Chino Valley is definitely a small city that doesn't have a whole lot of eateries, markets, etc (so when people say this place is the best pizza in town, they win by default). Located next door to an outdoor patio furniture store with its own parking lot. My husband, our little girl dog and I were visiting a friend last month and they had decided on having pizza for dinner (initially they had suggested a restaurant but I am still not feeling comfortable to dine in), which brought us to Aroma Pizza. My husband ended up ordering the following to go: Large Monster Pizza, $21.75 prior to tax- This pizza comes with 8 large slices that can feed 4 people. This pizza reminds me of a supreme since it comes with sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, green peppers, onions and plenty of cheese. The pizza was not bad and we had leftovers for the drive back home to Los Angeles. The dough was good and so was the marinara sauce. Veggie Calzone- This calzone was a pretty large size and can definitely feed at least 2-3 people. This calzone had mushrooms, green bell peppers, onions and black olives. I thought it was pretty filling and was able to get a few slices from it that lasted for a few meals. Spaghetti with meatballs- My husband was craving pasta so he decided to order this entrée too. This pasta dish came with a side of salad and also garlic bread. I thought the pasta was good. Unfortunately, I did not go with my husband when he made the order and paid so I do not know the prices and the menu on the Yelp page is a bit outdated. Please note that there is a fee to pay with credit card and so my husband ended up paying cash instead. The food we had was great and did a great job of feeding 4 adults for one meal and plenty of leftovers for a few days thereafter. The pizza and calzone are definitely large portions but the pasta was just a standard portion. I can see why this place is highly rated (overall 4.5 stars at the time of this review) and would probably be a regular here if I lived out here. read more

The pizza was great! The husband and wife (guessing the owners) were very nice. On to the pizza: The pizza crush was light and slightly crispy on the bottom. Very fresh! Only one thing was missing for me... I don't think the crust had any seasonings so it was a little bland... but I would for sure make this a regular stop. Went here a couple years ago and wasn't impressed. Went back after Little Ceasers closed and the pizza is really good. Quality ingredients, old school ovens and staff that obviously like their jobs in terms of working hard and as a team to get food out. I think the owner is also the main pizza chef and I've found that's almost always a good thing. If you're in the area, skip Domino's and Pizza Hut and get a much better pizza here. Call back over 10 times between 7:50 and 8:30, but no answer. Arrive at 8:35 and walk in, even though the open sign is already off... "Are you closed early?" "Yep."
