Love the ambiance, it's very classy but not snobby. Our waiter, Paul, did an amazing job with his recommendations and accommodating for us. We had the burrata "my way" for an appetizer and that was the best decision. For the main course I got the corvina, and while it was good, I regretted not trying their pasta. Guess I'll have to come back! read more

My father-in-law was taking my mother-in-law to Moscato to celebrate her 75th birthday. Unfortunately, we couldn't be there to celebrate with them, so I called Moscato ahead of time to purchase a bottle of wine for their table as a surprise. Not only did they give me a wonderful wine recommendation, but they also went above and beyond by creating a special plaque for my mother-in-law, which made the evening even more memorable for her. They even sent me a photo beforehand to make sure everything was exactly what I had requested. I'm so grateful to Moscato for helping make my mother-in-law feel extra special on her birthday. Their thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and customer service were truly top tier. read more

Moscato - Table was set up beautifully. - Italian Near Me - Camp Verde, Arizona

This is hands-down the best high-end Italian restaurant in the Verde Valley. It is clear how much love the Chef, Juan-Carlos, has put into the place. The artwork shipped from Sicily, the sparkling silverware, and above all: the food! It all begins with a warm herb bread served with a classic olive oil dip. Then, I usually get the Shrimp Scampi and it has never let me down. The shrimp is perfectly cooked, adding a rich flavor to fresh pasta. The server, Pablo, was also very attentive and had great recommendations, including a lemon cake that my parents, who normally don't like lemon flavored deserts, loved. I highly recommend making the drove to Camp Verde if you want to be transported to Italy for a night! read more

Stopped in for early dinner on an overcast Sunday. First time visit. Surprised by the lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and delicious food. The best Chicken Piccata I have ever had. My husband really enjoyed the braised pork shank and accompanying potatoes. Certainly a 5 star meal but the price was a bit surprising for Camp Verde as mentioned in a few reviews. It was filling up as we left so reservations would be beneficial. read more

This is the finest true Italien I have had in ages. Nate was a fabulous portion of our meal and I highly recommend asking for his services, he will not steer you wrong. The ambiance, the food, the service are impeccable. I'll drive 3.5 hours to get here. It's worth it. The focaccia is truly the best I've ever eaten. The olive oil accompany is beyond amazing. Freshly made pasta, fresh everything... the food is incredible. Just go. If you haven't you need to. Amazing. read more

What a rubbish place. The female "Manager" was such a snob of a person I was So insulted ... she was condescending and not kind at all , like why??? Such an awful experience...when asked why she is so disconnected she had no response... doesn't like gingers??? Absolutely horrible!!! Could not even enjoy my appetizer. She was an absolute nightmare. read more

Made reservations. Offered option to sit in or out. Should have chose out. Chairs inside were uncomfortable. Our waiter was great. Suggested the shrimp scampi and pork shank. The shrimp scampi was not good at all. Shrimp were way overcooked and like rubber. Pork shank was ok. Not very seasoned. Kind of like ok pork roast. The potatoes were good. Prices were way higher than on the website. Not worth it in my opinion. Won't be going back. read more

The star of the show, ***The food was amazing*** We didn't have to wait for a table with minimal warning of needing a table. We called 10 minutes ahead and our table was ready 15 minutes later. Service was awful. Our server left our water glasses empty 3x during the meal and I asked for a soda but never got it. The server seemed preoccupied without obvious congestion in the restaurant. Otherwise flawless presentation and taste. We had a trio of seafoods fried as an appetizer special with shrimp clams and calamari and we shared the shrimp scampi. Perfectly cooked shrimp and pasta as well as the clams and muscles!! The server is my only reason for less than perfect stars. She wasn't on her game that service. read more

If there is one restaurant you must visit in Arizona this is it !!!!!! I cannot believe what a rare gem this place is . We started with the fried calamari and shrimp. This was the best I have ever had anywhere and I'm from New England. I had the seafood zuppa it was amazing . My brother had the rigatoni bolognese and my husband the salmon Alfredo. The homemade bread was amazing and so was the service . I would give this place 10 stars if I could . read more

Fabulous late lunch/early dinner after hiking. We weren't really hungry so didn't order large meals but everything was delicious and service excellent. We thought we were a little under dressed when we walked in as the ambiance was so beautiful but I think a lot of people stop in after hiking Tonto natural bridge‼ We will be back next time we're in the area. This has got to be the classiest as well as all around best Italian Restaurant. The staff strives to pay attention to detail. The food is all homemade. The focaccia bread pairs well with the sauce's. I ordered Spaghetti with Marinara one night. A few days later I couldn't resist but to come again. This time I ordered Penne and Bolognese for lunch. Chef's kiss Fine dining in a town I would have never imagined. Camp Verde a relatively small farm town with a laid back demonor. read more

I imagine this feels a bit like crawling through the desert on your last few steps before dehydration only to stumble upon an oasis. Moscato was recommended to us by friends while we VRBO'ed in Cottonwood. I looked at the drive and my buddy said "just go". We did and all I can say is WOW. Many others have talked a lot about the food so I'll stop here but don't hesitate to try and get in this place. It is a such a pleasant surprise. If you're in a 30mile radius, do you self a favor and make you way over to check this place out. Enjoy! read more

One of the best Italian food I've had in a while. Food: pasta is made fresh everyday and you can taste it! YOU MUST GET THEIR HOUSE-MADE SAUSAGE!!!! I'm not kidding when I say it's the best sausage I've ever had. It's Smokey, savory, and has a nice springy bite. It went really well with our creamy pasta. My favorite bread is focaccia and I couldn't believe they had that as their free bread! The fries are addicting but I'd recommend saving room for their other items instead. Service: our server was amazing! Had the best recommendations, incredibly patient and warm. Ambiance: definitely on the fancier side and is a lovely place to have a celebratory or romantic meal. read more

We drove up from Scottsdale to dine in this restaurant. We took another couple who have dined extensively in the US & Europe. After our meal, everyone at the table gave this Restaurant a five star rating. Every time we go north, we make sure we stop at this restaurant for their lunch or dinner. The restaurant is gorgeous, food is wonderful and the service was excellent. I have told so many people about this restaurant because it's such a well kept secret.. read more

As A Verde Valley Local, I Was Really Looking Forward To Going Back To This Italian Restaurant After Hearing It Recently Relocated To A Different Space. It's Always Exciting To See Improvements To Local Spots, And I Was Expecting To Have Good Things To Say Based On My Experience With The Previous Location. The Ambiance Was Absolutely Beautiful. The New Decor And Atmosphere Were Really Charming And Well Done. Unfortunately, That's Where The Positives Ended. We Had A Reservation At 6:00 PM And Arrived A Little Early, Around 5:45. No One Greeted Us At The Door; We Were Just Given A Puzzled Look As If We Didn't Belong There. I Let Them Know We Had A Reservation, But The Host Told Us Our Table Wasn't Ready Yet And We Could Wait Outside On The Patio. That Was Fine, But When We Asked If We Could Grab Drinks From The Bar To Take Outside, We Were Told The Bar Was "Reserved" Even Though No One Was Sitting There And That A Server Would Come Out To Take Our Drink Order. No One Ever Came. We Didn't Get Seated Until Sometime After 6:30, And Even Then, It Took Another 10-15 Minutes Before Anyone Came By To Even Take Our Drink Orders. One Of The Drinks We Ordered Was A Tito's And Tonic. It Was Made Incorrectly (It Was Just Vodka, No Tonic) And Took So Long To Arrive That It Hardly Seemed Worth It To Say Anything. When Our Food Finally Arrived, We Were Hopeful Because The Menu Sounded So Good. Unfortunately, The Zuppa Di Mare Was Disappointing. The Seafood Tasted Overcooked And Fishy. It's Really Sad To See This Place Decline, Because It Didn't Used To Be Like This. There's Definitely A Lot They Need To Improve, Both In Service And In The Kitchen. read more

Looked up the menu. called on order. Small dinner spinach salad and Al Salmone When I went to pick it up, the price was drastically different than what was on the menu that I looked up. The waiter informed me that there are a couple of menus out only one that is correct is their website direct not google. He was kind enough to adjust the price by five dollars. The salad was wonderful. The salmon was supposed to be in a cream sauce. It was more just like a liquid, and the salmon had bones all in it. The bread was an all bread with very little seasoning. Just a bit disappointed was so excited about ordering from here. read more

May 31, 2026. Very elegant inside. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing, not small town kind of amazing, but truly amazing and would stand on its own, in any major city. We attended a dinner in the wine room on Saturday night and for a number of reasons were so very disappointed. Service was very slow, especially when it came time to figure out the bill. With a group of 14 the server and or the owner who arrogantly came into the room and let everyone know that he was the owner should have the conversation ahead of time with the guests or the person that made the reservation about how the bill was going to be settled. It took over 45 minutes after a three hour dinner to figure this out. The special duck dish was rubbery and flavorless. Several of the other dishes, including the mahi-mahi were unimpressive as well. The one stand out dish was the Burata appetizer. The tomatoes were beefy and tasty. The owner stood and smiled at everyone as if he was the king as we departed. Won't be going back there anytime soon if at all. read more

They had 1 waitstaff for lunch. Service was slow. Food was underwhelming. Salmon dish had bits of the fatty part of the fish. For the expense, it was anticipated to have a nice whole piece of fish, not the scraps of another dish. And if you take the bread home, it is a $3.00 charge. It was the bread on the table! This is a 1 & done. read more

We discovered Chef Moscato at his previous Camp Verde location; five years ago. A trip to Sedona and Flagstaff presented a second chance to savor expertly created, presented and served Italian cuisine. The new location is wonderfully elegant without pretention. The outside patio is an inviting option should climate allow. The salmon literally melts in your mouth. A popouri of flavors balanced to perfection. I cannot wait to return to Sedona and Moscato for another dining treat. read more
