Excellent service and delicious Italian food. Great NYC style ambiance. The Lobster Ravioli is wonderful. Nice creamy sauce with a generous portion of raviolis filled with lobster meat. My wife ordered the Penne Alla Vodka. Penne pasta with sautéed onions in a creamy pink Vodka sauce. She said it was best she ever had eaten. Heard their pizza was very good so I also ordered a 10 inch, Sausage, carmelized onions and mushrooms on a NY style thin crust. Very tasty, We both enjoyed the entire dinner and experience. Fresca Café Corey was our waitress and what a delight. Paul is the owner, we got to chat with him for a minute because he was very busy. I have to tell you it's the best lobster ravioli I've had in years. I'm pretty sure everything there is made from scratch but the most important it's made with love, fresh and delicious. They have homemade gelato, pasta, pizza and honestly I can't wait to go back to try that gelato, maybe even order a gelato cake to go, really excited! I want to try the pizza. Tried Fresca Cafe for the first time 6/30/25. Everything, from the food, to the service and the ambiance was probably a 9.5 out of 10. I had linguine and meatballs. The dish was superb. The sauce was fantastic! The meatballs and pasta were too. All fresh ingredients! The best Italian cuisine I've had anywhere in a long time. Very friendly people who, one can tell, put a lot of hard work into the quality of their food and their business. My hat's off to them. Hand picked basil, thyme, oregano,, and garlic. Fresh tomatoes, nothing canned. Locally sourced meats and cheeses. Even the honey for the pizza dough is local. The marinara sauce is cooked for 20 hours to bring out beautiful caramelization of the tomatoes. When freshness forms the basis for Italian home cooking, the food in this restaurant is bound to be outstanding. We didn't know their philosophy of freshness when we first tried their food. Such a delicious lunch with a group of my friends. We had pizzas, salads and sandwiches, so we tried it all. The coleslaw is incredible.

I used to love eating here, but unfortunately over five times in the last year they have randomly been closed without posting and within their hours. I placed a take out order and went to pick it up, and the staff had just locked the door and turned the lights off with no help to standing outside the door. I hope they can fix this ongoing issue, because it doesn't make returning worth the hassle. read more

We are giving them five stars, partly in an effort to encourage the new owners of this establishment, who are delightful. Maybe it's just me, but the ambiance seems a bit downcast & dark. But maybe that's just the vibe the owners are going for. Our food was excellent, with prices running MUCH below what similar venues charge for sandwiches & salads. I had a wonderful Brussels Sprouts romaine/bacon salad and my husband had a provolone panini meatball sandwich with marinara dip on the side & crunchy french fries. Fresca Cafe was also offering refreshing lavender ice tea. Then there is the broad selection of in-house made gelato, which they are particularly known for. If there was one area for improvement, perhaps there is a need for more help. We did have to wait quite a bit for our check, never got refills on our tea, etc. it seemed to be just the owners running things, while ALOT of happy patrons were filling up the tables. I have had the sandwiches before and the new version was a disappointment. Neither of us care for their cole slaw and asked for a substitute, no go. It was just was not anything special. Tis place is small in a strip mall. but don't let that deter you from coming here! As you open the door, you are immediately transported to another time! It's like 50's meet NYC meets new age! And the aromas are devine! We immediately headed to the dessert display, and accidently bumped into it, (it's curved and rounded) the server said, "It's okay, happens all the time, like moths to a bright light!" Went to Fresca Cafe last evening. Our second time there. We were amazed how good it was and how nice the Owners were the first time that we said next time we come back we'll get pizza. Well that was last night. I must say..... Wow. We started w the antipasto which was unlike any I've had. Very good. We had the Upper East side pizza. Which is their meat lovers. I must say after trying every pizza place in town, this was the best. I do have a couple favorites but they don't compare to this. . Wow! Well my husband was celebrating his birthday and he wanted Italian food. So we made a trip to Fresca on the recommendation of a friend. The service with Romy was fantastic. She took such great care of us. The seating area is adorable and very unique. My husband had the shrimp fettuccine with home made pasta! He loved it and shared a bite with me and I loved it too. I had the Queens panini and it was so darn good! Since it was a birthday dinner we also had dessert. I had the pumpkin pie gelato and my hubby had the tiramisu.
