Fresca has delicious paninis, super fresh ingredients and many sandwiches to choose from including traditional Italian meats and meatballs, to vegetarian, and chicken. I had the Queens vegetarian with nice big chunks of eggplant, zucchini, roasted pepper, arugula and an artichoke spread. I like that they have gluten free bread and that sandwiches come with a side of house made coleslaw. The Paninis were good sized and I was plenty full after eating, even though it was a late lunch for us and I was hungry. They have a nice selection of hot teas, perfect for winter. Service was great and timely! The server was very friendly and accurate with our orders. We had a couple pizzas which were fantastic! The fettuccine Alfredo was tasty and flavorful. The mozzarella sticks with homemade marinara was very delicious. The homemade gelato was amazing for a dessert, very large selection of flavors ( I chose Oreo ). Great vegetarian and vegan pasta options. Tasty wine selection. The gelato is always good, but I can't resist leaving without a slice of tiramisu to go. The new owner is very nice, as was our extremely nice server. The improved ambience is great for date nights. Fresh flowers at each table. There are lots of options like big salads, side salads, fresh pasta, panini sandwiches, ongoing specials, etc. The only unwanted change is the pizza preparation. We miss the thin New York style crust, and we do not like the overuse of cornmeal. But honestly bruschetta may be as carbolicious as any pizza. read more

This is a hidden little gem. In a strip mall in a corner... never Raven noticed it before. Me and my girls decided to do dinner and movie night. Came across this little Italian restaurant with some good reviews. It did not disappoint. I got the lasagna with a glass of Pinot Grigio. It was great! My friend had the homemade pasta with vodka sauce.... Fantastic! My other friend had spaghetti and meatballs.. also fantastic. My other friend had a panini and she said it was good. They ordered the Bruschetta for appetizer..very good amount but there was so much in each piece it was difficult to eat, so if your on a date and you don't want to be a complete mess I suggest choosing something else . Did I miss something? The Pizza and Service were excellent as always, but then the check arrived. Just tell me what the product your selling on your menu is going to cost and leave it up to me to decide if I want to eat at your establishment. It's not right to sneak in an extra charge like an Inflation Fee of 10% to the Bill without some type of notification first and set your staff up for blow back from the customer. In town visiting and I stumbled across this place for lunch. The staff was attentive and friendly. I ordered the gnocchi and two meatballs. The meatballs were tasty and I loved the sauce. The gnocchi was good, but nothing to write home about. I was pleasantly surprised by their breadsticks, they were delicious and soft enough for me to eat them with braces. I had one of the big salads, which was delicious, and my boyfriend had the shrimp scampi with fettuccine, he said it was just okay, and not much shrimp. We really liked the bread that came with it, but overall found the pasta dishes to be a bit pricey. They aren't in the best location, we hadn't even known they were there. The gelato is yummy, but again pricey, so we passed. Their food reminds me of the old Fazoli's, which was basically fast food. Another customer there told us that they microwave some of their entrees...we will probably just stick to Aromas in Chino Valley. read more

chose this restaurant because it was close to the movie theater. glad we did. some of the best Italian food we've ever had. eggplant panini was perfectly done. it has an artichoke spread on it that is amazing! my girlfriend had the spinach and cheese ravioli. the sauce was out of this world. wonderfully seasoned. highly recommend this restaurant. we were too full to try the homemade cannoli for dessert. The weather has turned back warm and I had seen the great reviews of this place so we popped in for some gelato. It was excellent. The gentleman behind the counter was extremely helpful and made recommendations as to what sorbettos paired nicely together. I got the prickly pear and the limoncello. Inhospitable and unwelcoming. Wanting lunch after shopping, we stopped in and asked to be seated at a booth. Since there were only 2 other parties seated in the entire restaurant I was surprised when the hostess refused, saying she had to save the booths for parties of 3 or more. I tried to appeal again on behalf of my mother's comfort (she's in her mid 80's) pointing out it was unlikely on a weekday after 1:00, with more than 5 large tables open and many more smaller ones , that the hostess would have to make any party wait. She insisted shamelessly otherwise. By now my mother, who needed to sit down, had stepped outside and I soon followed. Fortunately the shopping center had another restaurant, where we were warmly welcomed, immediately seated among many happy patrons and dined like kings. We will not try Fresca again. It's a reasonable assumption that a restaurant with such little regard for its customers, puts little effort in its food. read more

I've been here three times now. As a new resident of Prescott, we wanted to get some gelato and good sandwiches from time to time. This place is SO good! So far, we've tried four different gelato flavors and each one gets better than the next! Our favorite one thus far is Rum Raisin. We also ordered two sandwiches last week and we got the Brooklyn Panini and the Bronx Panini. Both were excellent as was the homemade coleslaw that came with the sandwiches. Fresca was a great find for us. Our server was Star and she was excellent- so friendly, helpful and an excellent representative of the restaurant. I'm vegetarian, my friend is vegan and gluten free, another friend is also vegetarian and there were 2 meat eaters. All were easily accommodated. Our food was delicious. I had the vegetarian panini and it was amazing. My husband had the chicken panini, one person had a pizza and two others had paninis. It was yummy and the gelato was so delicious. This is some of the best Italian food in Prescott. No kidding. It's a small plain place in the Home Depot/At Home mall but with great food and friendly courteous service and gelato too. The sauce is excellent. I'm an Italian from Nee York City so don't take this review lightly. I've tried most of the Italian restaurants in Prescott. This is the best. read more

Gnocchi was OK - good consistency but lacked flavor. Sauce is good but on the salty side. Lasagna is plated in a sea of sauce - a little odd and did not appear to be super fresh (pasta was hard). This mall restaurant opened a few years ago serving paninni and gelato. Their menu has expanded to include appetizers, salads, pizzas and pasta dishes. Portions are generous and prices are very reasonable. My Brooklyn paninni was ok, my wife's Queens paninni was very good, she said. Salads ordered by others were very large and included Romaine lettuce--nice touch. Service by our waitress was excellent--she was friendly and handled special requests and separate checks for our group of eight with skill and courtesy. read more

Wow! We usually go to Zeke's for their Blackened Chicken salad but they had quite a line waiting to get a table this Sunday, so we decided to try out this place. We are so glad we did! Hubby had the meat lasagne special and I had their Italian Flag panini. He LOVED his and said it might be the best marinara sauce he's ever had! Mine was also amazing with a side of homemade cole slaw. I usually don't really care for cole slaw, but whatever they put in theirs is by far the best I've had to date. Hubby had never had tiramisu and he loves cheese cake so we got one of each to go. Both were fantastic! The iced tea was perfect too. No wonder why they have incredible reviews! read more
