Your expresso, cheesy garlic bread, Alfredo sauce (we used for dipping) , Upper East End pizza (we added mushrooms) and of course, gelato-to-go...Mmmmm! Oh and restroom very clean and well-supplied. Another great little place tucked away in the corner. Was finally able to swing by and grab lunch here. I ordered up a 10" pizza and side salad. I would of rather gotten a large pie because to me its a better way of judging a NY slice, but my friend wanted pasta. That being said, the pizza was delicious. I keep it simple with just a couple toppings, pepperoni and mushroom. Bottom had a nice brown to it and just the right amount of crust. Sauce was good, not too sweet. I decided to not to eat it all, which I definitely would of had I not checked out their gelato section before being seated. I ordered up a cup of the salted caramel.. wow !! We recently moved to the area and a friend recommended Fresca Cafe. Oh wow! Being Italian and Celiac is a challenge and their gluten free selections are amazing! Like Nonna used to make! The gf ravioli and paninis are an event! We've been coming back weekly because Christina and Taylor have provided such great service and make you feel like you're at home. They try to remember what you ordered before, are attentive and funny. My husband said their lasagna is the best he's ever had (he's had a lot! ha!). We found our local spot! The homemade gelato and sorbettos are just as good as Italy! As Francesca the owner says "and they save you a bunch of $ because you don't have to travel to Italy!" Christina and Taylor are always super careful not to give me anything not gluten free and are informed on the benefits of gelato over regular ice cream (less fat, calories and sugar). Eat more! My friend and I were wrapping up a 7-day road trip through Northern AZ and Utah and she had been telling me how amazing this restaurant in Prescott was (she lives there, I was visiting), so we popped in for dinner. From the welcome we received when we walked in the door of this adorable restaurant, to the gelato recommendations at the end of our amazing meal, we had the best dining experience! I wish more people knew about this place! It's in Frontier Village, next to Fujiyamas, and like it's neighbor, it's delish. I went in there craving a panini, and I am so glad I did because they satisfied my craving on all levels. I had their chicken pesto mozzarella one, and my friends had the Bronx and the New Yorker. I probably could have eaten theirs too, especially The New Yorker. The meats were phenomenal, and paired nicely with the sauces. Each also came with a tiny side of slaw. I think there were cranberries in it, and it was a nice surprise. You also get a paninis card! So the 10th one is free. After my hot and yummy sandwich, I went for some coffee. I ordered the vanilla latte, and it came out in a cute glass, with the most delicious foam ever. It was seriously one of the best lattes I've ever had. The flavor was spot on, and it was sweet, and that's just how I prefer it. I've tried their coffee soda, and it was a little too strange for my liking, so I'll definitely stick to this. Their Italian sodas are great as well. And of course, they have desserts. Homemade awesome desserts. Try the lemon tart! Or anything really. This restaurant lives up to its name "Fresca". I have always eaten here with nothing but the freshest ingredients in my food. I have always been completely satisfied here with the food, service and cleanliness. I just had the best 10" pizza ever. The funny thing is....I detest vegetables on my pizza. I normally like pepperoni and sausage at a minimum, but today I decided to try the "Park Avenue". No, meat but loaded with eggplant, garlic and very mild peppers. Of course it didn't hurt that the crust was Absolute PERFECTION! The first pizza that I have ever eaten that is a Perfect 10, and no meat whatsoever. This pizza rocked! Michelle and Gracie offer Tip top service and are super attentive and nice pleasant people. The cream always raises to the top, and this restaurant is at the top of Prescott restaurant experiences. BEST RUEBEN my husband has had in 10 years! Our Realtor Jack brought us here while we were in from Colorado house hunting. He raved about the "IL RUBINO" with deli meats & cheese imported from NYC. That & the dressing creates THE BEST RUEBEN we've ever eaten. Now that we're LOCAL, we come in about once a week though it's a bit of a drive from Williamson Valley, but SO WORTH IT. We just have to plan to come on any day but TUESDAY when they are closed. I love Northern Italian cuisine so the ALFREDO is what I ordered; The ALFREDO IS UNBELIEVABLY AUTHENTIC & AWESOME! I cannot remember having any better ANYWHERE from Houston to New Mexico to Colorado. I've had the ALFREDO on the TORTELLINI, the SPINACH RAVIOLI & most recently on the SPECIAL CRAB MANICOTTI. The BREAD (Focaccia?) is also fabulous & we use it to prevent he waste of that perfect sauce. Once I was home working & my husband had to run errands with our FOODIE daughter near the FRESCA. She also raved about the ALFREDO & has been back for the Chicken Parmeseano which gets special mention on food connoisseur websites. She works in NYC, CA & all over. She loves the FRESCA food. We also enjoy the GELATO. The owner makes his own LEMONCELLO for his sorbet. My husband chose Coconut & I got the Cappuccino flavor but honorable mention to HAZELNUT & RED VELVET. All the flavors are wonderful, FRESCA sells their meats & cheeses by the pound if you need a quick platter for Holiday Events that will make your guests rave. The staff is wonderful, the facility SPOTLESS (I love that in a restaurant but especially during #Covid) & even though I PLAN to explore some other restaurants (need to find some good Mexican ones locally & with living in Mew Mexico & Texas for 40-50 years, our bar is HIGH) we keep coming back for our favorites. We are NEVER disappointed. Whether you live in Chino, Prescott Valley or out in the Prescott National Forest, put FRESCA on your Itinerary when you need a reward for Recycling, Working, Holiday Shopping, Running Errands or just want THE BEST ITALIAN FOODS in the QUAD CITIES. I'm very picky about Italian food, and Fresca Cafe really delivered. Both the red marinara sauce and the white alfredo sauce were made in house and superb. Ordered some cheesecake and ask where its from they said New York so I guess it should be good then I glanced into the kitchen and saw them defrosting the cheesecake in the microwave i ask the server that the heck snd she said thats how we do it I said that I disagree and real New York cheesecake should be defrosted in the glass caee over night that is the proper way she didn't care and I don't either but i will never return or recommend this place read more

This is probably the first gelato place that I thought was A-OK, it wasn't as superior in flavor and tastes as other gelato places that I have experienced. I read the reviews on Yelp and liked the New York restaurant type description as I have been to NYC many times. I can assure you we were not disappointed. It truly is a NYC type atmosphere and the food was delicious. Clearly one of the best Marinara sauces I have ever had and I lived in Italy for 5 hrs. Highly recommend the Fettuccine and meatballs, the penne in vodka sauce and the baked pasta. We met Francesca, the owner and are looking forward to meet her chef husband next visit.
