The gas is always cheaper than any of the surrounding stations. The people that work inside the store are always kind and helpful. The Deli is wonderful. For such a small place they have quite a lot of different food to choose from. They have a Burger, Fry & drink combo that is very affordable and very delicious. The burger is huge. They bake their own bread daily and that's what they use for their fresh and humongous sandwiches. They have everything from a BLT, to A Ruben sandwich, sandwich A TAB ( that's Turkey Bacon and avocado). They also have some Mexican Food and they bake Pizza fresh to order. Also, they have fish shrimp and steak meals that you can get for dinner. It has a butcher counter as well. read more

So Mayer is a very small town and of course there's not many places to eat. Actually, I think this might be the only place to eat in Mayer but honestly their food is TOP TIER. It's delicious. It's definitely southern comfort, unhealthy, but homemade and so good. Everyone in there is nice and it's a very cool community setting. They have quite a large menu with sandwiches, burgers, fries, and any southern comfort food you can think of. They also have a small antique section and a small mini mart with grocery essentials and alcohol! The best thing on their menu is the breakfast burger. It has ham, hashbrown, bacon, egg, and beef on it and it's amazing. They also have a special sauce on there. I stayed in Mayer for about a week and had the burger 3 times. I also tried the country fried steak with the gravy and their French fries. For the only close place in Mayer it's a must stop! read more

This is a review of the Grill (food) service in Mayer Market. In short the food is awesome! Our favorite is the Hot Pastrami sandwitch, but the Philly Cheese Steak is awesome as well. The burgers are the best we've had anywhere between Cordes Junction and Prescott. It is a little general store, with good gas prices. If you want to eat-in there are a few tables. We never go to Subway or McDonalds at Cordes Junction any more. read more

They always have the cheapest gas prices in Mayer and PV/Prescott and while I'm here I get the burger fries combo meal for $7.49! It's not the best burger but it makes up for it in price and quantity! I mean it's on par with In N Out Burger so git ya one! This place has really good food however their soda machine needs to be clean and has leftover syrup and like rust and the things from their soda fountain that needs to be cleaned however it is a very good place it is a nice place it is by a new owner and he is working on fixing things you can get anything from dog food to cat food anything from pasta to freezer stuff they even carry cigarettes and you can even do carry out food which we cried it and it was awesome really love the fries read more

Well this was a great place. Now they are taking all the good things off the menu that made this place great. The staff are very rude and outspoken to their customers. Dont ask for anything extra if you want them to stay friendly. Now the wait time is at a hour just for a sandwich while they just stand there. P.S DON'T ask for sausage like they used to have for breakfast!! This is a small town market and gas station. It consistently has some of the lowest gas prices in the area, although they do not support "pay-at-the-pump." The market prices are a bit high, but exactly what you'd expect for a small town store that attempts to carry at least one of everything, to give locals an alternative to making a 30 minute round trip into a more populated area with more shopping options. The deli in the store provides quality food options at reasonable prices - the hamburgers are great! I find the owners personable and friendly, but they are not a rest stop, so hit Sunset Point on your way up or the Circle K across the street on your way down to Phoenix. They are in business to sell merchandise, not to provide restrooms for non-patrons on their way to spend their money in Prescott. Don't be so cheap as to be unwilling to buy a pack of gum if you really need to use the facilities. As a local, I find the market/gas station to be a treasure in rural Arizona. read more

The food at the deli is delicious! I will make sure we stop here every time we go to Prescott, or up the 69 for anything! The restrooms were clean, and smelled good. The owner and employees were very nice and friendly. Customer service could not have been better! We shopped around while we waited for our food from the deli, and the prices were surprisingly low for a small town market. The burritos and sandwiches were great as usual but the temperature around the deli was uncomfortable and the two cooks who was preparing the food looked like they were just beat! I don't agree with other review. I have done business in here for two years since I moved here and find the owner and staff very nice. This is a cool small town market that had gas and a great deli. Don't be a snob and try and enjoy small town resources. And yes....most businesses won't let you use restrooms unless you do business. This market is on one of the busiest highways and lets face it. The owners if this place must have asked friends of theirs to put good reviews up. This place is dirty and the employees are rude. I've heard them tell people to go the fuck back to Phoenix and they had better buy something or the toddler with them can't use the bathroom. The store is right on the 69...what did they expect? Of course people are going to stop to use the restroom. I'd they weren't so rude and the place wasn't so disgusting, maybe people would want to stay and eat at the deli or buy items. The items are overpriced and weevils can almost always be found in anything grain. It's worth just passing up shopping at this market and just going to prescott valley.
