The store tends to be well stocked and have an overall good selection of products and food to choose from. At trader joes there's always good deals and good products that help you get your money worth out of good quality produce. As well as good cosmetics products, good selection of beverages, and the other really good items TJ sells. The ambience is also child friendly and has that friendly neighborhood environment feel. Finally, the store is clean and has good service overall from the employees. The only minor criticisms are more like knit picks as they're not shocking or surprising due to common problems that every store has. When shopping late they're out of certain products like produce, certain meats, bakery items etc. The only other complaint I have is sometimes the service can be inconsistent when they ring you out. Sometimes cashiers don't put your bagged items in he cart even if you do it to help them. And then there are products that like many others complained about but TJ is already aware of that need work. Such as tortillas and breads getting moldy too fast, produce getting spoiled too soon due to too much plastic packaging, milk tending be a bit overpriced, and many other products that aren't as good as big name brands. read more

Enjoyed visiting here. Much less chaotic than big city TJ stores. Was able to move around the aisles easily, although people do stop and camp out in the aisles and kind of give you dirty looks as you try to lean and check out the salads etc. People don't share the space. There was lots of pumpkin stuff and I should have got the pumpkin chai tai but I'm kind of on a budget. I'm did get 3-4 interesting things. Coconut milk drink which I plan to miss w my pom pomegranate juice, poblano tacos which were so good! I was afraid they would be spicy but they were awesome as I just microwaved 3 for 2 min apiece. Highly recommend those. Don't cook them in an oily skillet cuz the shells are oily already. I loved them, very tasty. I got pumpkin ravioli and the tofu pad Thai - frozen meal. A worker about 40 years old gave me dirty looks continuously while she was stocking the frozen things BUT I WAS TRYING TO SHOP AND PICK STUFF OUT!!!!! She dropped 2-4 items and left so I kept shopping but then she came back unfortunately with more stuff. I wish she would have just spoke and said Can I have 5 min to stock or you go ahead or you F off. She just kept giving me snarly looks and stocking. Should i have left and circle back or should I have asked her How many things are you putting here or should I wait and then you go across the aisle. It was so rude and annoying but hey Mgr, teach your stockers to speak. I prob won't go back but I was happy with what I got. read more

Just relocated from another state and so, so, so happy Trader Joe's is nearby. I have to confess, this was a prerequisite for me in order to relocate to my new home state. When I first entered the store, it was nice to be in a familiar place. I perused the aisles and was happy as a clam to see some of my favorites! As a TJ customer/addict I'm usually here at least once a week and still love seeing the variety of plants, flowers, drinks, foods and desserts. read more

O TJ's, TJ's, wherefore art thou TJ's? Deny Flagstaff a TJ's and refuse thy fine products to us! Well that's a whole other story but in the meantime, Prescott TJ's is one of my faves! All of their employees at this location, are always so friendly and helpful! Love, love, love so many of the TJ's products! Our dogs love their regular chicken and smoked chicken jerky treats! They have a great wine selection and flower/plant selection and all kinds of other awesome goodies! My only dilemma is that sometimes they discontinue an item that we really love, but then we usually find another great item! I was surprised to find out that they charge tax on all food items here, but apparently that is a City of Prescott thing! I have never seen a city charge tax on regular food items, so please complain to the City of Prescott about this! As for TJ's, you have been in my heart and soul since my parents brought me as a kid! Trader Joe's has some unique products I especially go there for but one never knows if it is in stock! Like the pork iron chicken dumplings, th Everything Seasoning, the focaccia olive bread, the frozen wild caught fish. Whenever I move someplace having a Trader Joe's in the vicinity of an hour or less is mandatory. Well to my pleasant surprise my local Trader Joe's is only 10 minutes away. Trader Joe's is part of my self care and being able to go there on weekly basis has been wonderful. I'm usually in here weekly either buying groceries or just walking down the isles looking for new things to try. I frequent here so much It's to the point that they remember me and still shocked at how young I look after carding me for my wine purchase. The store is always stocked, clean, and staff is super friendly and accommodating. The only con is the parking lot as it's on the smaller size and shared with other businesses. I am going against my own personal code here and giving TJ's a great review. While I still think TJ's sells mostly useless snack food items, this particular location is top notch! First off - it's walking distance from my parents' home. Every time I visit, we take a walk and end up stopping in here to pick something up. If I can combine a retail experience with a walk, it's automatically worth a couple of stars! This particular TJ's has an excellent selection of wine and beer. EXCELLENT! My dad picked up a bottle of Ernest Rapeneau brut rose champagne (yes, real FRENCH champagne) for about $25. It was the most delightful champagne / sparkling wine I've had in a long time. Produce is generally old, spoiled, rotten or garbage. Purchased a 1/2 lug (about 4-5) containers worth of large strawberries last week. Found out they were not sweet or even edible. Most molded within 2 days, and as such the entire box of strawberries which cost over ten dollars went into the garbage. I probably should have returned them to the store but they would have ruined my car's interior. Learned a valuable lesson, don't ever purchase produce from this trader joes. What I have found is that most of the bakery goods are old and stale, most produce unedible and ready to spoil. Look at best buy dates but don't trust any produce. read more

Lots of healthy choices here at good prices. Love the fact I can buy individual apples and other produce here. Lots of choices for crackers here, fresh organic carrot juice, excellent breakfast sausage and egg choices. Steak and chicken we buy elsewhere. Great selection of nuts and other snack foods. Now I just love my big man JOE!! There many specific items that I shop for at Joe's place! Like their yummy and tasty Okinawan Purple Potatoes, but are hard to find since they are seasonal. Also love their Scones.....vanilla, blueberry, cranberry....all sorts of flavors!! But my most favorite item is their Greek Spiral Cheese Pie! Also the Greek Spanakopita Pies!! Between Trader Joe's and Sprouts here in Prescott we have a partial Foodland from Hawaii. So not bad some great value on many items that are hard to find at the standard big grocery stores. I enjoy their wine selection. Pretty good with low to medium priced wines that are suitable for most all occasions. Ok if you want a fairly high end eg $45 or more a bottle they are limited. But that's ok for regular shopping. The meat fish are really weak and for me not recommended. Dairy is great. And many small unique items. I enjoy the staff they are always friendly. Ol' reliable, TJs from coast to coast offers groceries which are beyond the standard levels with regard to quality and taste. While there are some local only items, in general from Tulsa to Providence, and San Diego to Oakland, the offerings are pretty consistent and an excellent staple for both home and away. The parking lot at this TJs is alot like others - too small, and crowded, but I guess that's part of the experience. Don't forget to bring your bag with you, or you might get the slightly perceptible momentary look of disapproval from the staff, but only momentary. Again, it's part of the experience. read more

I love Trade Joe's but I have to remember to avoid the not-so-fresh produce and expiring prepared foods. Every single time I want a fresh salad kit or fresh lettuce, they are all looking pretty sad. I really don't like wilting lettuce or browning lettuce in my bags. Everything else is good to go. Never had any problems with their dry goods or canned foods. Frozen is all fine. Bakery items can be so-so at times. Just watch out for expiration dates. Meat section is good. Nice to see kosher meats. Dairy section is nice. Nut section is pretty awesome but kinda pricey. Beer and wine section has pretty fair prices. Trader Joe cheesy puff snacks are addicting and you can't beat the prices. What am I missing? Every Trader Joe's is different but you can always count on them to have the Trader Joe basics. read more

I had been eagerly awaiting the return or Trader Joe's Palak Paneer spinach Indian food. Finally it arrived in January 2023. I bought several boxes and tried one a few days ago. The original version was mediumly spiced and delicious. This new batch was so heavily spiced I could barely eat it even when trying to tone it down with yogurt and naan. I gave me severe distress and discomfort for three days or more. Is there some way you could ask the manufacturer to tone the spine down to what it was before? Since my last review I learned 2 things about TJ's. #1 They have regular employee tastings, so the staff can actually discuss the products with you and answer questions from personal experience. #2 They have a satisfaction guarantee with no-hassle returns. Number 2 pretty much negates a comment a made in my first review: "Not everything I have purchased here is a complete winner." I now feel fine about returning anything that isn't up to my expections, which is huge in my book. So, I shop here regularly, try all sorts of new things, and so far have only returned 2 items. This Trader Joe's is the only one close to us from Flagstaff, AZ. We drive for almost 3 hours both ways so we can get our favorite TJs products. I wanna recommend the garlic spread dip. I grew up eating this stuff with rotisserie chicken. It can't get more authentic than this. My mind is blown how authentic and good it tastes. Sometimes I'm not happy with them running out of produce so fast and often by Sundays they don't have some berries and vegetables but that's due to the store's popularity.
