I have lived all over the U.S. this is THE WORST Walmart I've been to. The employees are as rude as can be. This last visit today is just one example of how it's been since we moved here last July 2024. I asked a blue vest Walmart employee in the garden center a question. Her response was in a very, very rude tone, "I fill orders I don't work back here!" I checked out in the self checkout lane. Was going to ask the employee there a question, but she was texting on her phone. I purchased a flower from the garden area. So of course I didn't have a bag. When I was leaving the "Unwelcome" person yells, "I need your receipt, I need your receipt!!!" I wasn't even to her yet and she was throwing a fit. I showed her my receipt and told her, "Just so you know you and your fellow employees are very rude!" We try not to shop at Walmart, when we do I usually go to the one that is further away with nicer employees. What a joke. read more

I've been cashing money orders here for around 7 years. My mom moved to other side of the country and likes to send them as gifts. Last time I cashed one was about a month ago for my birthday. Today I went in and they asserted they have never cashed money orders. I tried to tell them I've done it dozen of times, and they tried to tell me that someone could get fired for that? Lady, you'd be firing a huge number of people because it obviously wasn't just the same person over the dozens of times I've cashed these over nearly a decade. Thanks for wasting my time. I've done it so many times with no problem that I just assumed it would work and I went shopping first, so I wasted a lot of time. read more

Walmart's website is always broken. Whenever you try to do ANYTHING, it is always having technical difficulties. What is more, Walmart never fulfills a full order, at least six items are out of stock on any order made. The staff at customer service can never speak English, and if they do, they do so with accents as thick as slime we played with when we were children. read more

Management should be terminated! Just tried to shop there today on a thursday morning. When myself and my party attempted to use the self checkouts a moronic walmart employee closed all of the self checkouts on both ends of the store leaving one human cashier with a line of twenty people. Threw down our attempted purchases and left. Not sure if this was intentional but the effect was the same, not to shop here again! Walmart customer service is nonexistent. I must say however, the (male) bathrooms were graffiti free and had big mirrors over the sinks (not normal, but welcome). Plus, they had a "Gender Free" bathroom option...cool. The curbside pickup at this Walmart is quick, easy, and the staff have always been very friendly. The on line app is also easy to use. You choose a 1 hour pickup window and about 30 minutes prior you get a text telling you about substitutions and allowing you to approve or deny. If you do not see your text in time, the associate will go over your substitutions when you arrive and you can reject any that you do not like and your credit card will be refunded. Unlike some competitive stores, you can order cold grocery items so you can do a complete shopping trip for your home. I like that they have covered parking and plenty of pickup spots to park in, really helpful if it is sunny out, especially if you have ordered cold items from the grocery department. read more

This review is for the store bakery. On January 16, 2024 we ordered "online" two 1/4th sheet cakes to celebrate the Birthday of a 90 year old Korean War Veteran "Marine" who has, for the last 16 years, hosted a weekly veteran's breakfast get-together. We specified the type of cake, color of frosting and trim and what we wanted written on the top of the cake. The cakes were to be available for in-store pickup on Jan 25th, between 12 and 1 P.M. When we arrived to pick up the cakes we were told that their cake decorator had a family emergency and was on the east coast, and therefore anyone who had ordered a cake would not be getting it. They notified all the people who placed their order in person, but did not contact anyone who ordered on line. When we complained, later that day, we received two notifications from Walmart Customer care saying our custom cakes had been cancelled due to technical reasons, and we had not been charged. They were sorry. So, we were left to try and find substitute cakes for the 7:00 A.M. breakfast meeting the next day. After visiting three different stores we had to settle for buying 4 round cakes, that at least said "Happy Birthday". We hate when the reason's for bad customer care are negligence and an "I don't care attitude" and that was what we got at the Walmart Bakery. If you want a cake go to Fry's or Costco. Forget the Walmart Bakery. read more

Rosa and Courtney in Customer Service Department are such lovely, wonderful women who made my experience at this store one I will always remember!! I've been traveling and today was the first time I've ever had to do a money order. They were both incredibly patient and helpful with explaining how the process would go and despite the computers running a little slow, they moved with such grace and a great sense of humor!! These ladies add so much value to this store and were a joy to converse with while we waited for the computers to "think". Thank you Walmart for the quality employees you have on your team and thank you to Rosa and Courtney for being the delightful humans that you are! Been to one Walmart and you've been them all right? Pretty much. Good thing about this location is the large parking lot and large selection of both market place and non market place selection. It can get crowded on busy days here but that is at every Walmart location. Overall a good place to shop. read more

There's a thug who works at this store whose on a complete power trip. He's thin, got darkish hair, has a beard and basically pushes the carts in from outside. I was minding my own business today, sitting on a bench with my laptop on my lap and I was being a nuisance to no one. Suddenly he appears and demands that I unplug my laptop as he has to charge the scooters for the store. I found his approach very demanding and rude. I'm not saying that I had a right to be there but there are plenty of other places in this store where a scooter can be charged. OPTICAL DEPT.....this is many months ago. Just remembered I wanted to post a beware. Maybe it was just the woman I dealt with but 2 big mistakes! I wanted ANTI reflection. I didn't get, she said I did, but I've had for years, I know the difference!! I finally went to PV Walmart optical who said I was right. I also wanted ANTI scratch. Well after months of delicate care with special cloth, they slowly but surely are getting scratched SO I didn't get that either. read more

Selection is poor. Pasta was completely sold out. Never have seen such a thing. Produce was horrible the checker that checked me out was the slowest I've ever had she bagged all the glass together. Have had numerous issues with this Walmart although that may be Walmarts in general. Lack of cohesiveness between there online store caused more issues. Guess that's why I'm buying more on more from Amazon and even Costco.com. ordered TV and it arrived with screen smashed in two places. I am the true Walmart hater. I hate that I am a whore for low prices and convenience. But what is one to do when the GF is without a light jacket to keep her warm while on the brink of cooler weather and rain? We power up the yelp app and find the closest Walmart.....that's what we do. Then we follow the directions told to us from our smartphone until we arrive. This particular Wally World is easy to locate from the historical epicenter that is Prescott. Pulling into the parking lot, I was taken back by the none industrial surroundings. Beautiful rocks as a backdrop to the Walmart Super Center (WS). Not Vegas.....no way! Walking into the store I noticed no one was trying to run me over in the parking lot. Upon making entry, I noticed there was a gentleman escorting his family into WS. He had strapped to his leg a smoke iron that would have made Wyatt Earp proud. Mr. Earp used to hang out in Prescott back in the day BTW. I felt comfortable and after a rapid assessment....paid him no mind. Neither did anyone else for that matter. The inside of this slayer of the little man was neat and orderly. It did not contain the chaotic vibe I am used to feeling in Southern Nevada. Everything was easy to locate and the check-out was an easy and friendly process. Most clerks in Vegas don't give a F&%# about you. The clerk on our visit was more than happy to engage in friendly banter and educate us Prescott weather. Much appreciated! When in this area of Arizona history, I would not hesitate to visit again if in need of anything!! read more

Really decent, caring, hard working people man this store. Wallmart workers get a bad rap. They're the butt of jokes for sophisticated big city elites (like me). Since I moved to this small town, we've been hitting Wallmart for a lot of stuff and you know what... it's a damn good store with caring workers who know how to smile. Wayne is one especially laid back and attentive check out guy. A customer behind me in line laid into him for folding some clothes for me as he packed them in bags. "Hurry up!! Why the hell are you wasting time folding sweat pants!!" His response was 5 stars... all the way. You got a good hire there guys. read more

Went grocery shopping here on a busy Sunday night. There was one cashier and about 10 people in line. She was very flustered and told the person in front of me that she wasn't going to take them or anyone else, I suppose she was getting off. This naturally kind of upset everyone. Meanwhile, the guy, Elliot, managing the self checkout started shouting at everyone in line in a very annoyed manner "you people are gonna have to learn to use the self checkout because we are always gonna be short staffed." It was totally rude and unprofessional to degrade the ppl in line for no reason. I wound up taking my huge cart of groceries through the tiny self checkout. It was a pain, and it wouldn't have been that bad, but this guy literally continued to complain and yell at people about how they were short staffed and people "needed to learn" I mean I get it, but also I saw at least 15 other employees while I was there. If they are so short staffed maybe corporate should change their protocol and cross train more people as cashiers. The experience has me irked. read more

This has nothing to do with the staff itself, but more with the random declines from their check company. Cash my payroll check here everytime a payday falls on sunday... sometimes they cash it...and then other times they refuse...for no reason...no reason they can give at least... but they do print you out a receipt that tells you absolutely nothing...except to call a number that nobody answers. I visited this walmart yesterday and was very disturbed by the associates and customer s behavior regarding the corona virus. I would say one in 10 customers had a mask or gloves on. I believe no one in the store was heeding to the 6 foot distance recommendation. It was just my observation, I will not shop in this store again. Self checkout employee will NOT assist despite the audible "Please wait for assistance" with the large red flashing light (I had to cancel a double scan.) Waited eight minutes, there was no one left in the checkout area other than myself and she was straightening bags. Yes, I could have gone over there and requested that she do her job. If this is the expectation, however, the tills should say "please go find employee to assist" not "please wait for assistance." I will not return to this store. read more

I shop at this Walmart regularly. Glad that they installed more self checkout options at this location as it helps with the long lines, due to a lack of staff. However, this is the second time I've been there at the self checkout isle and an older woman named Sharon is absolutely hovering over us, doesn't speak, just hovers over you. I realize this is her job, however, she takes this to a new level. She follows you around, if you turn, she turns. We are a clean cut, law abiding family and are made to feel like thieves.
