    Simple Artisan sourdough
    Lynda A.

Disclaimer: rarely give 5 stars This place is BY FAR one of my favorite spots in Camp Verde. The sourdough bread is enough to come in for...and then there are the sandwiches and salads and sweets. There are many varieties of bread, I personally opt for the Artisan. It's sliced which I love, and even homemade it has strong shelf life! The only sandwich I get when I come here is the Chicken Basil Focaccia. It's two meals for me as it is massive. Lots of sliced chicken, lovely fresh basil and an amazing aeoli. Served with either chips or a side salad. The focaccia is out of the world...light and airy and full of flavor! To be honest I've never ordered the pastries or cinnamon rolls but they look absolutely amazing and people rave about them! Hours are funky so check before coming out...I've been disappointed before, lol. Interior seating available and to-go options offered as well. I'm a proponent of supporting small business and this is a great one.

"I might have just experienced breakfast sandwich perfection. I ordered the 'Good Morning' on sourdough (bacon, scrambled eggs, cheddar, Dijon, tomato, and spinach), and it was both massive and delicious. The flavor balance was spot on, and the and the sourdough was a total game-changer. Total happy accident finding this place! After missing the breakfast cutoff at Udderly across the street, we gave this spot a try shortly before they closed. We also ordered the cinnamon roll with browned butter icing, which was a total standout. It was huge and so good that we'd polished it off before our sandwiches even hit the table. It's a miracle we didn't order a second one! Even though they were out of a few items since it was late in the day, it didn't matter. This is officially a must-visit whenever I'm back in the area!

We found this delightful bakery by following the smell of fresh baked bread and pastry. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they also serve sandwiches. Everything was delicious.! The portion sizes are large and reasonably priced. We will definitely be back.!

Very homey feel inside the bakery, they have a decent selection of sandwiches cold or hot, in house sourdough is amazing i should've bought a loaf

    Agreed, the bread is tasty.

We Loved the food, best quiche ever. Our peach cake was so good cold & warm. We took home 2 loaves of bread; sour dough olive loaf and walnut cranberry. Cute place, family run. We can't wait to eat & shop here again.

Stopped by on a Saturday in the fall around 11:30. Was busy and smelled great. Only 5 tables plus three bar stools so it could get crowded when busy - consider getting things to go if you're coming prime time. Park in the lot just before it if you're coming south on Main Street. Greeted immediately. Helpful service. Got a Reuben w/ salad for lunch plus a cinnamon roll, chocolate croissant and berry croissant to go. Cold case of bottles with sodas, water and iced tea. Pleasantly surprised at the side salad, mixed greens, spinach, carrots, tomatoes and cucumber slice. Rueben was standard but with their wonderful rye bread. Berry croissant was day old so was discounted. Overall a great little stop for bakery goodness and a sandwich on house made bread. Air conditioned, cute space with old timey music that is perfect - could be the 1930's except for the Apple Pay!

Wingfield's Ham and Rosemary Focaccia Egg Sandwich. It was HUGE. Had several meals from it.

Great breakfast sandwiches and bread products. Love their croissants (too much work to make at home). Their cinnamon rolls are good, but mine are better. Sorry.

Note that the label says "Whole". But that is not correct, the bread is all sliced up.

    Do they serve breakfast?

They have baked goods and coffee but not traditional breakfast. They have quiche and their sandwiches are awesome as well!

After having spent some time in Jerome, one of my closest friends who lives in the Cottonwood area…read moresuggested Pizzeria Bocce. When I looked at their menu and saw their high ratings, I decided that we should go there for lunch after we were done in Jerome. Before lunch, we walked around the area for a bit to enjoy the nice Cottonwood weather, then headed back as opening time approached. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess and requested a table on the patio. They were more than happy to give us a seat on the patio with views of many cars passing by while we relaxed outside. Our server was very nice and helpful, and when I mentioned that I wanted to get the Cire's pizza, he said it was one of their best-selling pizzas. I could see exactly why it was one of their top pizzas. Everything tasted fresh, and I thought the crust had one of the best textures of any wood-fired pizza I have ever had. While I unfortunately was unable to finish it due to the huge breakfast from earlier in Jerome, the pizza was still delicious. I also enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. If anyone is looking for a great pizza place in Cottonwood, I recommend Pizzeria Bocce.

With tax $22+; tiny 10inch pizza. (In NY we consider that small) not large…read more no justification for that price. Sauce not homemade; highly suspect of a pizza done under 6mins. As if got the pie premade from Sysco The "meat lovers" with 3oz of meat Something has to give. Will go if they justify the price and quality .
