What a happy surprise. Deceptively small from the outside but quite expansive inside. Simple but pleasant furnishings. Service and food were top-notch. The Reuben sandwich was thick with meat! The mac and cheese was quite tasty but would look even better with yellow cheese rather than white. They are minus a baker currently but would love to have had pie, too!

Udderly Divine Cafe...it's waaaaay in the back off the store front FYI!

I have read the reviews many times and finally found myself right place/right time. They are located across Main Street from my very favorite bread at Wingfield. The entry is a small ice cream parlor and a gift store. I was greeted and asked if I was looking for the cafe, which is a large dining room and bar seating in the back of the building! The dining room is large and several parties for lunch. I sat at the bar and was greeted promptly. I ordered the homemade chicken salad with fries and an iced tea. Chicken salad is plentiful, I added pepper Jack for an additional charge. Prices are in line with everywhere in the verde valley. They make desserts and pies to go that looked amazing. The mercantile also had local beef, which I promptly purchased a 1.5 pound London Broil...super stoked! Next time I'll try the ice cream!

What a gem! This place is thought the gift shop. It was very busy on this Monday day afternoon. The cup of soup was a bowl. It was tomato but was more like a tomato bisque. The half salad was more than enough. I saw a fell salad and it was HUGE. The patty melt was really good and the batter on the fries was light and tasty. The waitress/owners daughter was a treat. She was so nice.

Recently moved to Camp Verde and this has become a favorite, we come in here at least two or three times a week for lunch, the turkey bacon wrap is absolutely amazing!

Kind of pricey but good food. Cheeseburger was good, not great beef flavor but the bun and toppings were good. ($14.50) Chili size was good ($17.00) Th fries were amazing! Service was awesome. Highly recommended

The Udder Cup is a win! Delicious breakfast pastries, egg bites, quiche, and a variety of hot and iced teas and coffees. Everything is delicious, and customer service is on point! So glad to have an amazing AFFORDABLE coffee option in town. Also, you can still get a full breakfast meal next door when the restaurant opens at 8am. LOVE IT!!!!!

It was an early morning after a late night. We tried to get delivery but Im happy we didn't making us get up and GO! What we found was a small joint with a Cheers like vibe, not the bar part of Cheer but where everybody knows your name. Our waitress, Krista, (hope thats right, she deserves for me to get it right) was warm and familiar. She felt like an Icon, people frequent this restaurant if not for the food, then for her. This is not a fact, just the way it felt. Entire staff we interacted with were beyond friendly, they were kind and authentic. No pictures but want to shout out the hot chocolate my Grandson and I asked for. Like everything at Randalls, they were so much more than expected. An x-large mug filled with creamy, dreamy cocoa, heaping with whipped cream drizzled with caramel and chocolate syrup. Yum-O! DRINK THIS. I heard the coffee was amazing too. The food finds. Lots of menu options but this is what we landed on. Chicken Fried Steak Verde with Biscuits & Gravy: Covered and smothered, I was told it was different and delicious. Chicken fried steak can take on different textures and this texture was "perfect". I can attest the homemade biscuits are what you want a biscuit to be. Not crumble when you bite it but raised with a density and moistness you use your tounge or finger to help it off the roof of your mouth. I dont like sausage or bacon gravy but if you do, you'll enjoy this in totality. EAT BOTH OF THESE. I got a plain biscuit to go. Pastrami Rueben and New England Clam Chowder: While the pastrami was not cut from a made in house slab, this sandwich was so good, perfectly grilled bread and the saurkraut was NOT bitter or too sour. The homemade thousand islands dressing sealed the deal on the sandwich. I was leary about the NE clam chowder because of its yellowish color, so glad I was wrong. It was flavorful and balanced between clams and potatoes. EAT THESE BOTH. I brought some of this dressing AND chowder home. Mmm hmm sure did. Apple Cinnamon Pancakes: My grandson ordered these and Krista suggested a short stack but let him know if he finishes it and is still hungry, she'd get him another. These pancakes taste as good as they look. The batter produced fluffy, tasteful pancakes. Apple compote not too sweet, not under or overcooked. Its safe to EAT THESE! Ribeye Steak and Eggs: You can see the grill marks in the photo and thats what it was a perfectly cooked, (maybe seasoned with lights salt) tender steak. This breakfast steak was so trim that the 8oz was meat, not fat. EAT THIS! Eggs are fresh and it deserves to be said they do hashbrowns right. The cooks make sure to get that crispness on the outside that make hashbrowns so good. Its a hashbrown skill thats either overlooked or under executed. Went to Randalls for breakfast, left with homemade biscuit, dressing, clam chowder, apple butter and OH I almost forgot, a big-ole' cinnamon roll (gifted to my daughter because it was her birthday) that was still warm from the oven and so much more. I cannot wait to go back. EAT HERE!!!

Stafff at the entrance very friendly and waitress was also nice. Ordered chicken fried steak, hash brown, 3 eggs over medium, and side of biscuit. All that for $15.99 was a pretty good deal. Also ordered patty melt with fries. My chicken fried steak was pretty big but what the heck... Why they skimp me on gravy barely covered the chicken fried steak. Chicken fried steak was crispy outside and juicy inside but lacked in flavor. I was tempted to add salt but I didn't. Eggs looked rough but tasted fine and cooked little over medium. Hash brown was pretty goood. I feel bad that I didn't touch the biscuit and it was huge. I'm not a biscuit fan but it looked so dry and I had to left over gravy to taste it. So I have no idea how biscuit was. Patty melt was OK, but the bread tasted little burnt. Over all it was not bad and price was good but I've been to other black bear diner and had better experience. Oh well. . If I am ever around this side of town I will skip here for breakfast.

Right after my initial review the restaurant went through a management and ownership change and a LOT changed. I came back once or twice after the new ownership and the food was in transition. I waited really, another several months for things to settle down, and started coming more regularly. The food is substantial, first of all. Mark, (owner), takes immense pride in serving quality food. Pricing sadly, in commensurate with Sedona, but that is life here in the VV. There is smoked prime rib dinners on Saturday, Taco Tuesday and relevant holiday specials. But again, portions can be shared or you've got two meals. Win-win Management and staff has changed, for the better from previous. Staff is friendly, efficient and professional.
