Staff were friendly and helpful. This is not a sit down place -- grab and go, but that is fine because you leave with all things yummy! Get there early for fresh out-of-the oven bread and pastries -- SO GOOD! They have sandwiches to-go -- grab one and head over to the nearby park for a fun lunch. read more

They've expanded! They now have sandwiches (fresh made to order or pre-packaged ready to go). The sandwiches are delicious! Made with love and quality ingredients (bread is fresh, meat is plentiful, nothing sloppy about it). Highly recommend!! read more

We've been coming here for years. All of the cookies are delicious and fresh. The brownies are chocolatey and moist. I tried the pretzels and they are really good. The staff is always nice and friendly and make you feek like family. It's a very small shop, but they handle the space well. Definitely my favorite place to get baked treats. read more

I just have to share my experience about the sandwiches here inside of Gramas Bakery. They opened up a sandwich shop a couple months ago and I've had two sandwiches there so far. The Italian grinder in hoagie roll amazing and today I had the pastrami with Swiss cheese on rye amazing. I didn't take a picture of the grinder cause I ate it too fast, but I did take a picture of the pastrami half as I had already eaten half of it before I took the picture and it was just the most delicious sandwich ever. Both sandwiches I had they were the best sandwiches I've ever had and I'm a great cook and I know good food. If you haven't tried a sandwich here inside at the sandwich shop in Gramas Bakery you gotta go try them out. They're delicious amazing high-quality on homemade bread. Need I say more? read more

In addition to having the best pastries around they also have a sandwich shop. We decided to go there and try there sandwiches. And what a great pick! I ordered the pastrami sandwich which was big full of good ingredients and fresh baked bread how can u go wrong! It was very delicious. Similar to New York deli meat which I had as well. They will make anything custom for you and well it's just delicious! I would try this place and while you're there pastry is right there. How can one go wrong. The perfect sandwich despite the idot protesters on the corner it was a great experience. read more

The cheese bagel, green chili and sourdough bread was some of the best freshest and tasty bread! The macchiato coffee washing it down tasted better than any commercial versions out there! Worth the drive and effort to get to this establishment! read more

I dream about this place all of the time. Any opportunity that I have to make the 2.5 hour drive up, this is my first stop. The danishes are hands down, the best danish I've ever eaten. It's so buttery. I was sad they didn't have the cherry one this time but honestly, I would eat a dog biscuit flavor if it came from them. read more

I've been here several times and every visit is consistently great. The cappuccino is my go-to and it never disappoints smooth texture, beautiful latte art, and full flavor. The staff remember my order, which makes it feel so personal. I love sitting near the window and watching people pass by while sipping my drink. The natural light in the morning makes it a perfect spot for reflection or journaling. I've also brought friends here and everyone loved it. Prices are fair, and the cleanliness is impressive. You can tell the team takes pride in what they do. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality and comfort. read more

We tried Grama's Bakery this afternoon and were not disappointed. The woman at the counter was very sweet and knowledgeable. Let's start with the blueberry danish. It was nothing short of sweet, tangy perfection. It's the perfect balance of sweetness and tartness, making it impossible to resist. Next up, the cherry eclair. Each bite is a heavenly experience, with the richness of the cream perfectly complemented by the subtle tartness of the cherries. Lastly the coconut macaroon, the texture was chewy with a slightly crispy exterior, which was enjoyable. The coconut in the middle made me think it wasn't baked all the way at first until I got more intense coconut taste. On the positive side, the macaroon had a nice golden color and a pleasing appearance. It was also moist and held together well, which made for a satisfying bite. Each pastry was beautifully crafted, with attention to detail evident in every aspect, from presentation to the flavor. Although the store inside was clean, the outside of it kind of smelled like urine. Not sure if that has anything to do with the bakery or some irresponsible people from the bar above. read more

I had a great time at Grama's Bakery. I went with my friends on a whim. We didn't expect it to be so small and the location is very unique. But, I thought the service was great. The pastries and cookies were so yummy. I don't like overly sweet overly flavored goodies. This was great balance. Tasted very homemade in a great way. Definitely recommend. read more

Saw so many people coming and going. Had really high hopes! We ordered two sandwiches the bread was stiff. Asked for no greens or veggies and got a full thing of lettuce. The meat was so far off the bread like it was thrown around but realize it probably just slid from the mountain of mayonnaise. We got a cinnamon roll. Hard. Again tasted very stale and just like it was leftover from the day before. The staff was friendly and the establishment was clean hence the star. Definitely just expected more for the price we paid for everything. Quality costs I get it ,but unfortunately it wasn't there for us. read more

Grama's Bakery delivered pastry perfection--flaky chocolate croissants, gooey cinnamon rolls, and their legendary blueberry pie melted in my mouth with every fresh-baked bite. This Prescott bakery has been in business for 40 years. The current owner has had the business 10 years. The location is central to Prescott, just off the Square, next door to the Hotel St. Michael. The location is very convenient to the places we like to visit. Although the baked goods looked very tempting, my husband and I had already eaten breakfast and just wanted coffee. My husband ordered a plain coffee and I had a latte. Both were fine. The drink menu is not as extensive as at a specialty coffee shop. This is a very small store downstairs at basement level. There is no indoor seating. Just outside there is a long metal bench with a back where you can sit and enjoy your purchase. My husband and I were staying next door at the Hotel St. Michael. We took our coffee and sat in their comfortable Lobby Bar. read more

We were heading on our way out and said let's grab something for the road. It was close to closing time which may have been why there wasn't much of a selection left. Grabbed a few cookies, peanut butter, oatmeal, and chocolate chip. All were good! Next time I'm in town I'll have to stop in when it's closer to opening time and am able to try other items. It's pretty small inside, a to go place only. But I'd go back for sure. read more

I have been buying delicious treats from Grama's since I was a kid and very little has changed in this quaint hometown spot; the sandwiches are new though. The place has changed hands once that I'm aware of but the quality has remained. The service is always top notch. This morning I brought home 2 ham and cheese croissants, 2 Snikerdoodles and 2 cinnamon rolls. I'm stocked for the weekend unless I go back tomorrow to try the pastrami sandwich from the new expanded menu. We ate the croissants for lunch, excellent as always, the cookies are for dessert tonight. The cinnamon rolls are the best in town though we have quite a few good bakeries. I need to try the bagels also. read more

What a super cute small hidden bakery. When you are walking by can be easily missed unless you are actively reading the signs. The bakery is in a very small space, I would say about 3-4 people max fit inside while ordering. Customer service was okay. I ordered a ham and cheese croissant, oatmeal/raisin cookie and finally iced coffee. Everything tasted good and fresh! It was all so good! Definitely next time in town stop by to grab a little snack to eat while walking the stores. read more

Such a great find for coffee and pastries! We stumbled upon this place after we overhead someone talking about how good their cookies were. We tried the apple turn over and a lemon frosted cookie. Both were so good - probably the best lemon cookie I have ever had. The next morning we were getting ready to head back home and wanted something quick for breakfast. We had both the strawberry and blueberry cream cheese danishes. Both were so fresh and fluffy. I also had the iced macchiato and it was really good. We will be back! read more

Walking back to my office when this wonderful aroma just hit my face. I'm looking all around trying to figure out where the smell of freshly baked bread was coming from when I looked down and noticed Gramma's Bakery. While I was slightly disappointed to find out that they didn't sell their bread in house but sold it at a local deli. Since I was already inside I decided to try a couple of their baked goods. Being that I stopped by in the afternoon they were out of a lot of things. But I did try a peanut butter cookie and cinnamon roll. The cookie was pretty good soft and chewy. The cinnamon roll for dense, chewy, and tasted nothing like a cinnamon. I took a couple of bites & threw it away. I wanted to like this place because the people were very kind. Needless to say I won't be back. read more

This place is really good. It have a small selection, but it's a good selection of coffee and drinks and the baked stuff is outstanding. Everything I've gotten so far has been really good. Today was a ham and cheese and a chocolate croissant. I've never had a chocolate croissant with so much chocolate in it it was fantastic, the only thing I would say would be that it would be nice to have the ham and cheese heated up. I also really want to try the bread. It looks fantastic. read more
