She has a himel license and delivers to Prescott and surrounding area for a reasonable fee ($25). She can still be reached at 928=277-8197. Cake was good, but I would not purchase again as I made an agreement with owner assuring the cake was going to be ready on time for a 25-person party. . I got there 10 minutes early. Let her know that I was there by text and she tells me she cannot meet me and she is not ready. I then said that I could meet her two hours later, and again she said she couldn't be certain the cake would be done. She finally did drive it to the location of the party, but it was an added stress for a party that was being planned from out of town to occur in Prescott. read more

Buyer beware! False advertising on the website! Our family placed a PAID in advance $100 order, with the understanding that it would be ready for pickup at the Prescott location listed on the website. An hour before pick up, the owner demanded that we pick up our order from a gas station by her home in Dewey, AZ- a 45 minute one way drive from Prescott. After trying to reason with the owner, she agreed to send her husband with our order to a parking lot in Prescott Valley which is a 30 minute drive (1 hour round trip, plus the cost of gas) sketchy right?? To add insult to injury, her husband proceeded to yell and cuss when he was asked why the change in the delivery method. But wait there's more.. WHY would you advertise having a bakery in Prescott and bake from your home kitchen in Dewey?? Remember, this was a month in advance prepaid order with the owner agreeing for pickup at the opening of business hours at the Flour Stone Bakery in Prescott . I wonder if her home kitchen is licensed by the health department? Had we known that our $100 order wasn't going to be baked in a commercial licensed kitchen AND that we would have to drive an hour round trip, plus the gas expense - we would've given our business to another bakery in Prescott . How it started: pre paid $100 for 2 dozen cupcakes over a month in advance to be picked up at a bakery 5 mins away. How it ended: Two separate reports filed for misleading business practices and aggressive behavior. Two hours before pickup time, day of our party, we get a text message from the business owner letting us know that they're short staffed and if we want the cupcakes we'll have to drive over an hour and half to a gas station by her home in Dewey. No, we can't do that, we're setting up for a party and expecting guests soon, the arrangement was that we'd be picking up the cupcakes from the bakery 5mins away at 10am, not by your house in Dewey. She didn't take any accountability citing that they're a small business and was giving the information in real time. Eventually she offered to have her husband meet half way at a Safeway in Prescott valley. Asking a woman to meet a man she does not know in an another city 45mins away is bold and thank god a woman isn't who met up with him because he was loaded with a short circuit temper. He changed the meeting location last minute to a burger king parking lot, within seconds from greeting and then addressing the situation (picking up a pre paid bakery order in a Burger King parking lot 45mins away) he lost it. Started yelling and cursing, he was visibly irritated to be there in the first place, but the audacity to start yelling and cussing as if we were inconveniencing him. The anger was alarming and the simple fact this woman was comfortable asking another woman to meet this man in a parking lot is wild. Cupcakes were delicious! Were they worth the last minute scramble, stress, almost hour drive and verbal assault? Nah. Prepay with caution. They have opened a small bakery on Gurley between Cortez & Marina. I so missed going to the bakery they had in Prescott Valley that is closed. Their raisin bread is so great...literally melts in your mouth. We just picked up some bear claws ($5 ea) and they are soft with lots of flavor from the almond paste. They have a smaller inventory here but there are pieces of cakes and pastries that are boxed and ready in individual containers plus cookies and other items.
