Our family ordered our son's 15th birthday cake (Chocolate with Vanilla Frosting) from Amy, and we were absolutely blown away by how amazing it was! This lady knows what she's doing. I ordered a cake for a Friend's bday, and like the occasional train wreck I am, I waited too late to order it for the actual day. That said, Amy could not have been more helpful (I mean that as literally as possible) or kind during the ordering process. She is so sweet and endearing, that the fact that her cake was, and I quote: Holy. Crap. DELICIOUS A+!!!!! The whip cream is PERFECT makes her the cherry on her perfect whipped cream. I would like to note here that my Friend is also a professional baker, and has been for many, many years. So, this praise is from someone who KNOWS. What a wonderful cake Amy baked for us: a gluten-free hummingbird cake. The hummingbird cake is my wife's favorite cake of all time, and we have a daughter with gluten allergies. I found Amy on Yelp when searching for the best chocolate cake for my mom's 70th birthday and I and so thrilled we chose her. I ended up getting the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cloud cake (chocolate with peanut butter cups since that is my mom's fave) and she said it was the best cake she has ever tasted - which says a lot because my mom is a connoisseur of fine cakes! I added a dozen chocolate peanut butter cloud cupcakes as well to make sure we had some leftovers. The presentation and professionalism Amy displayed was top notch and her talents as a baker speak for themselves. I have to start with an apology that I didn't take a photo before this amazing Pecan Pie was devoured by my family. The short of it is that the cake Amy baked is the best I have ever had and I cannot stop thinking about it. I considered making a picture of it my phone wallpaper but I don't need to fuel the obsession further. I asked if Amy would make a German chocolate cake though it isn't one of her usual offerings. She graciously agreed and I am so glad she did. The buttery coconut topping tasted like high end butterscotch candies and the chocolate cake was the perfect complement to the topping because it wasn't too sweet.
