Awesome place to get a slice of homemade pies. They have a decent menu of sandwiches and other items to make it a great place to get a full meal, as well. We already had lunch a 1/2 hour earlier, but when when we were driving by we u-turned it as the 'homemade pies' caught our eye. The building is old, small, but clean and quaint providing a homey atmosphere. We were stuffed from lunch so we just split a single slice of the Apple Cream pie. It was so good, we next ordered a slice of Cherry Pie to take with us. But, we snuck a bite before leaving and it was so good, we then ordered a second Apple Cream slice ending up with three total before we were all said and done. It's the crust that makes a pie and the crust here is fantastic. We used to think the Pie Box off I-17 was good, but Berry's Pie Pantry definitely bumps Pie Box to #2. I stopped by on a Sunday late morning. About half the seats in the small dining area were taken. Cute curtains and decorations make it feel like a quaint country kitchen. I ordered a Patty melt with grilled onions and bacon. Side of fries. It showed up quickly. Crispy bacon and butter grilled rye bread complemented the onions and meat. Fries were abundant and crispy. You can't come to a place with pie in their name without having dessert. I ordered the boysenberry pie à la mode. Delicious and a perfect end to the meal. Slightly off of the whiskey row tourist area . This place is great for breakfast and lunch . It looks like they make the pies in an adjacent building, not sure . I had the Rueben on the advice of a different review somewhere else. They ran out of corned beef but had pastrami. Even better. It came out and looked pretty good. About half an inch of sliced meat ( commercially sliced very thin, like plant o lakes). The bread was toasted both sides and oiled/ buttered. Regular sized bread but marble rye. Very thin slap of dressing and the sauerkraut was lackluster. Just no flavor. The Swiss cheese was good and held up to the sandwich. It had toothieness and stretch ability. Overall a pretty good sandwich but like everywhere in Prescott, it needs more meat. The sauerkraut and dressing need to be jazzed up. There is just no flavor. I would give 6 out of 10. read more

This place is really bad. The coffee is gross, taste is like the pot was never cleaned. I ordered an omelette that was so burned and overcooked it was not eatable. The ketchup was in the sun and warm. This place is a health hazard. I would not recommend!! read more

After walking around Prescott we stopped in for dessert. I had heard about the pies and was dying to try some. I got the berry pie warmed up with ice cream, my son got the custard and my husband the German Chocolate. The crust was buttery and delicious anf the berries were sweet and fresh. The custard pie was light and the nutmeg on the top was a nice touch The German Chocolate was rich and decadent with delicious coconut throughout. The server was very nice and attentive and the dining room was small and cute. We will definitely be back. read more

This is a good place to treat yourself. The pies are definitely tasty, and they are still affordable by the slice. My spouse loved the Reuben sandwich. Fries were good, but the side salad was mostly bagged iceberg salad mix. Very quaint inside, small in a good way. Love the novel hanging up at each table. Feels like walking into a simpler time, therapeutically so, which may be part of the reason they have so many regulars. Servers are pleasant. As a vegetarian, breakfast was a much better experience. As a vegetarian, I wish they would offer a veggie burger. There is a grilled cheese, but you need to order it without bacon. But I could always have blueberry pie for lunch :) Note to Berry's Pie: Please consider fixing your veggie sandwich, e.g. make it bigger (like the less expensive Reuben), with thicker bread (like the less expensive Reuben) and get rid of the small, hard sticks of almonds inside. Use anything else for crunch. Panera's Mediterranean veggie sandwich is way better and almost half the price ($7.69 with side). read more

I ordered the rhubarb pie and it was so fresh, buttery flaky crust, the pie was warm it was so delicious it was a slice of heaven. I ordered from the outside window and the service was great. I wish I would have gotten an entire pie but that would have only gotten me in trouble bc it was so good I would have eaten the entire thing-lol. Came here for the first time for a meet-up with friends and honestly, I wasn't impressed at all. It's a small little place with several tables/half booths for in-door dining and appears to be dated with country decor. Service was decent, but leaned more towards the slower end, however, the lady (busboy) serving coffee was very attentive! We all ordered breakfast and three of us chose an omelette. I had the ham and cheese and was surprised to learn that cheddar cheese was not an option (weird?) here. I had to choose from Swiss, American, or Monterey Jack and I went with the later. We also ordered some flannel cakes to share. These can be best described as really thin pancakes. Anyway, food was slow to come out and was served randomly on the table. For example two of us got our toast before anything else and one got her side of hash browns. Then I got my omelette (toast was now cold!) as the others waited on their food. The side of bacon ordered with the hash browns eventually made an appearance along with one other omelette. Lastly, the third omelette was served and all of our food was probably lukewarm at this point. Servings were on the smaller side, but that was ok. My omelette was very light and fluffy, but truly lacked any flavor. For some reason it tasted as though the eggs were watered down? Hash browns came with the omelettes and these are what were served as very small portions and they were better than the omelette, in my opinion. I would've liked to try one of their pies, but opted out after having their breakfast. I'm not sure I would ever return to this restaurant, unless it was going to be solely for a slice of pie and a cup of coffee, because the coffee was delicious. All prices seemed reasonable, yet we split the bill and we each paid $21.25 (including a 20% tip)... You decide. Unfortunately, no pictures of our meals were taken. read more

We have loved Berry's for 10 years. Something has changed and not for the better. Went twice in the last two months. Waited over 30 minutes for our order- used to be in and done in that amount of time. Hamburger ordered pink was beyond black and thin as a smash burger.
