Stopped in for a fast lunch on our way to Prescott. A local eatery that simoly has good food & good service! I had a French Dip sandwich- meat was tender & lean & the dip was warm! We were a group of 7 passing through on our way to visit Havasu Falls. It had sort of a "hole in the wall" kind of look to it. We thought this will either be really bad or really good. Sometimes those hole in the wall places will blow your mind. This was ok. The service was good. The lady that took our order was very patient and got us in and out on our way. I did the build your own and thought I was ordering a toasted club but since I requested toasted, it all seemed to be warmed up. Even the deli meat which tasted weird. And it's just 2 pieces of bread. Not a club sandwich with bread in the middle or anything. It wasn't horrible or anything, just not what I envisioned I was ordering. I also requested potato salad but got chips instead. Wasn't the end of the world. I ate them. Came with a cookie that was also good. read more

Jed's is a fairly new place to eat in Chino Valley. It was a little difficult to find....but I understand they have signage on the way. Look for it on SR89, south of Center on the West side of the road - next door to Panhandle Randall Thrift Shop. Jed's is a sweet little sandwich shop the serves sandwiches of your choice that includes a pickle, chips, cookie and a drink for one price. (Look on their Facebook page for the menu). The place is CLEAN and the staff is delightful. The food is delicious and fresh made to order. They also offer bakery items - and we ordered a small Bundt cake (individual size) that we took home for enjoying after dinner that night - it was moist with decadent frosting on top - really tasty. I highly recommend that you try this place, opened 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.....I don't think you will be disappointed. They offer call ahead ordering for those of you who appreciate taking your order on the run. read more

What an adorable sandwich shop & bakery! Everybody was so nice and welcoming! They knew it was our first time in and gave us all the info we needed prior to checking out their menu and ordering! We both ordered salads and had their homemade Ranch and homemade blue cheese dressings. Yummy salads for sure! They came with a corn muffin, drink and a cookie! I was worried about cross contamination but the owner, Donna was so kind and assured me they take all precautions.
