It was very good and fresh tasting, not metallic from the added vitamins, which was good. The only issue I have with the smoothies here is the very high sugar content. Everything has fruit juice, sherbet (i.e. fruit juice and sugar!), or sweetened plant milks, so consider this a dessert, not a good meal replacement. I went to their website after eating here and found that my smoothie, which was in the wellness section, had 57 grams of sugar! That is more that you are supposed to have in a whole day.

With every shake you are treated to a black and green tea drink with aloe and a choice of fruit flavor, which is an interesting and nice compliment to the shakes. I tried the peanut butter and chocolate banana shake. It was rich and creamy and just as the owner said - very filling, and had a strong peanut taste with no strange aftertaste. They also have some protein balls and a few other bars and healthier pastry type items plus protein powders for sale. The owner was very knowledgeable and welcoming.

There are also a few packaged trail mix type items along will all the standard produce items you may want. The organic selection is not as extensive as some of the natural foods markets which is one drawback for me. If I were to rate just the smoothies, it would have to be a 1. One the plus side they will customize and I asked for the Banana Nut blast with added oats. On the negative side the smoothies are really slushes and very bland. They add ice to the smoothies and use dehydrated fruit which was flavorless . Also there is no vegan protein powder option. I tried the smoothie within the first 2 weeks of the opening and the staff were still learning so hopefully they will get better but they definitely need to use fresh fruit and get rid of the ice.
