Lobster nachos! I saw a reel on FB for their seasonal lobster nachos so my husband and I went for an appetizer dinner. They did not disappoint! Lots of lobster with a cream sauce, cheese, tomatoes, and delicious guacamole. Typically nachos just have the goodies on top. Not these. Layers of chunky lobster and cheese throughout. The copper note Tallow and butter, well at least they have butter, but I was extremely surprised that a high-end restaurant such as this place does not use beef tallow. They do use butter on some things, which is great so I only ask for things with butter and then the rest is made with the seed oils which I don't like to partake. They had a lobster festival going on and we were so excited to partake. It was so good. My lobster was cooked. Absolutely perfect. The hostess was great. The waitress was amazing and we like the venue. Here's my complaint. No TALLOW and pretty much know red wine that I can drink. Basically all they carry is domestic red wines, nothing from South America, Italy, France, or Spain, what a letdown. Come on. Went to Copper Note for a date night last week, and I LOVED it! The Whisky Sour was so good - they even made cute little hearts with the bitters in the egg-white foam on top. I shared the mango poke appetizer with my beau (bf), which was delicious! We love steak, so I ordered the filet mignon cooked medium - amazing. The vegetables were cooked to perfection, and their garlic mashed potatoes were excellent! I added a side of horseradish sauce and slathered my filet in it. I also ordered the baked potato fixings-" - bacon bits, cheese, scallions, and sour cream - and put them all over my mashed potatoes. Amazing! We had reservations and arrived 20 minutes early. The hostess asked us to wait until our reservation time, despite multiple empty tables. During that time, several walk-in parties without reservations were seated ahead of us. When we were finally seated, we asked to move to an empty booth instead of a four-top in the middle of the dining room. We were told the booth had to be saved for larger parties. Thirty minutes later, three people were seated there. On the positive side, it was Lobster Fest, and our waiter was outstanding. He was friendly, attentive, and apologized twice for the unusually slow kitchen. Unfortunately, after waiting about 90 minutes for our food (plus the 20 minutes in the lobby), my lobster tail was slightly overcooked, although the claw meat was excellent. My son's 16-ounce ribeye, ordered medium rare, arrived medium well with excessive fat around the edges. This would have been a two-star experience were it not for our exceptional waiter. For a lobster and ribeye dinner at these prices, it simply wasn't worth the money, and we won't be back. read more

This restaurant is known for a more upscale atmosphere overlooking the Square in downtown Prescott. It is very pretty inside. I wanted to love this restaurant, but I am not a fan. This is a higher priced restaurant with food I did not like. I've had lunch here, twice. The first time I had a chicken breast sandwich. The sandwich was big. The chicken was very dry. The only good thing about it were the toppings on top of the chicken. I'm paying for the chicken to be good, not just the toppings. The second lunch was the stuffed portobello mushroom. Large & terrible. The texture & flavor were terrible. I took 3 bites and the rest sat on my plate. The waitress came by and asked me how I liked it. I told her I didn't. She stated people had mixed reviews on it. I still paid for it and threw out the entire dish. For me, this is a restaurant that focuses on ambiance, presentation, and fancy toppings. This hidden gem is located on Gurley Street and located on the top floor of the spice traveler specialty shop. I had been into the spice store many times and been the superstition Meadery downstairs, but had never gone upstairs for dinner. They are open Wednesday through Sunday with varying hours. The vibe is very modern and chic. Some tables look out over the courthouse plaza. They have a very cool U-shaped bar in the center of the restaurant. The service was great, and the food was fantastic! Our friends had the Maine lobster and I had a cold water lobster tail. Also, the lobster bisque was to die for!!! They're running a lobster fest into early September. Both of our lobsters were fantastic. My husband enjoyed the voodoo pasta, and my girlfriend had a filet mignon, which was very tasty per her review. I was in town visiting my aunt and uncle and wanted to take them somewhere nice for dinner. I came across The Copper Note on Yelp and it looked promising, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located on the second floor, and since I had a group of seniors with me, we appreciated having elevator access. As soon as you step out, you're welcomed by beautiful leather couches, warm wooden floors, and soft lighting that gives the space a relaxed but upscale feel. It's a big open layout with a bar in the center and a friendly host who greeted and seated us right away. The seating options were great -- a mix of standard tables, booths, and tall tables by the window where you can enjoy views of downtown and the courthouse. The vibe throughout the restaurant was warm and inviting. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and thoughtful. The rest of the staff who passed by our table were friendly as well. Service-wise, everything felt smooth and welcoming. To start, we ordered the Arizona shrimp and the clam chowder. The chowder itself was really good -- creamy, comforting, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. It was topped with one shrimp, corn relish, and a small cilantro garnish. Personally, I felt the chowder was strong enough on its own and didn't necessarily need the extra toppings. Sometimes keeping it simple really lets a dish shine. For my entrée, I ordered the center-cut ribeye cooked medium rare. When I cut into it, it was a perfect medium rare -- juicy and cooked beautifully. The garlic butter was a nice touch. I did feel like it could have used a bit more seasoning, as I found myself adding extra salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. The vegetables weren't my favorite, and the golden mashed potatoes were decent but leaned slightly dry rather than creamy. Not bad -- just not particularly memorable. My aunt ordered the Cioppino. The seafood itself was cooked properly, but the dish was served just warm instead of hot. We asked our server to have it reheated, and she handled it promptly. The broth was a little mild for my taste, but my aunt, who has hypertension, actually appreciated that it wasn't overly salty. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, which ended the night on a high note. It had a nice caramelized top and a slight crunch at the bottom -- possibly an Oreo crumble -- which added a fun twist. Overall, the ambiance and service at The Copper Note were truly impeccable and made for a lovely evening with family. While some of the dishes didn't quite match the level I expected for the price point, the experience itself was enjoyable, and the team clearly cares about hospitality. This was a pre-85th birthday dinner we decided to celebrate here at the Copper Note. This is a fairly new establishment in PRESCOTT and you can't beat their location right on the square! It's a fairly elegant restaurant and prices in food reflect this. Really lovely dining area with wonderful big views of the square out the large windows. All three of us enjoyed our entrées and drinks very much! Our server was very professional and helpful in making selections from their menu. He was informative and knowledgeable of his menu with every recommendation being spot on for each course. The portions were perfect, flavorful and extremely satisfying. I don't post to Yelp often, however my recent visit to the Copper Note requires that I share our experience. We are part-time residents of Prescott Arizona we were looking to try out restaurants that we have not previously visited. This experiment did not go well. We had reservations on a Sunday night for 6:30....we arrived about 10 minutes early and the receptionist had us wait in the lobby area for about a half hour before seating us. There were plenty of empty tables and the restaurant was not busy. While waiting the lobby filled with smoke from the kitchen casting a hazy cloud that foreshadowed the experience to come. After finally being seated, we waited for another 20 minutes for the waitress to show up. You would think at a high-end steak house there would be some recommendation of signature dishes or nightly special, but no such pro-active marketing tonight. Since we had been waiting a combined hour so far, we each just ordered a drink and an entrée. We stood by another 25 minutes for the meals to arrive. I ordered the filet, it arrived uneventful, flavorless, overcooked, my wife ordered the steak skewer medium and arrived rare, "...well the rice and potatoes were good". Pretty much disappointed with the poor service, bland food, we paid the overpriced $165 check and left without ordering anything else. We cannot recommend The Copper Note and would not return. A far better choice is Farm Provisions within walking distance. read more

The atmosphere and service are nice and the view of the courthouse square is a bonus. I like the booths and the table lamps which add a touch of class. We went for a late lunch and I had the salmon tacos - kind of an odd choice for tacos. They were cooked well but needed double tortillas in order to keep their shape. They came with avocado and a small healthy salad and pickled jalapeño plus an odd mayonnaise based sauce which just didn't go with tacos. Overall a good dish but a bit overpriced for what it was. A side of whole black beans would be a nice compliment. The flourless chocolate torte was excellent, not too sweet or rich. I think it was made with almond meal. Well, I really wanted to love this place. I thought the atmosphere was very nice, especially if you are able to get a table at the window...which we did not. We came in late on a Wednesday night. It wasn't busy, and the service was great. I ordered the Cioppino, and the BF ordered the pork porterhouse center cut. I didn't care for the Cioppino at all. We went there last night service was very good but the meal was at best low grade not even close to being worth 200.00 dollars for a steak dinner and two crab cakes that where not as good as the frozen ones you can buy at a grocery store my baked potato was so over done and dry not worth eating. I really wanted to like this addition to Prescott dining but there are a lot of misses here. First the positive. The service is by far the best in Prescott. If you were just transported here you might think you were in Chicago or New York. I've visited four times now and each time the service has been excellent. I gave 4 stars because the service is five stars but the food is actually below average and not cheap. I've had steak three times and at first I thought they were over cooking it because the steak is bone dry. I'm wondering if they bake it or finish it in the microwave because when you cut into it there is literally no juice on a medium rare order. The vegetables are simply roasted and the mashed potatoes are average at best. I've tried the pasta which is decent but the chicken is as dry as the steak. Pro tip. If you get the steak make sure you get a sauce or you will be severely disappointed. Badger Den steaks are 5 times better. Still, the ambience is nice here and if they ever get the food right this place will be the best Prescott has to offer read more

While we were waiting for our reservation, a server came by to take drink orders, which was such a great touch and immediately set the tone for the evening. Our waitress, Sandra, was outstanding.
