The dining area and bar at twilight
    Jay T.

This was a pre-85th birthday dinner we decided to celebrate here at the Copper Note. This is a fairly new establishment in PRESCOTT and you can't beat their location right on the square! It's a fairly elegant restaurant and prices in food reflect this. Really lovely dining area with wonderful big views of the square out the large windows. All three of us enjoyed our entrées and drinks very much! Our server was very professional and helpful in making selections from their menu. A very nice evening was had here, and I will look forward to returning in the future.

I was in town visiting my aunt and uncle and wanted to take them somewhere nice for dinner. I came across The Copper Note on Yelp and it looked promising, so we decided to give it a try. The restaurant is located on the second floor, and since I had a group of seniors with me, we appreciated having elevator access. As soon as you step out, you're welcomed by beautiful leather couches, warm wooden floors, and soft lighting that gives the space a relaxed but upscale feel. It's a big open layout with a bar in the center and a friendly host who greeted and seated us right away. The seating options were great -- a mix of standard tables, booths, and tall tables by the window where you can enjoy views of downtown and the courthouse. The vibe throughout the restaurant was warm and inviting. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was incredibly sweet, attentive, and thoughtful. The rest of the staff who passed by our table were friendly as well. Service-wise, everything felt smooth and welcoming. To start, we ordered the Arizona shrimp and the clam chowder. The chowder itself was really good -- creamy, comforting, and the potatoes were cooked perfectly. It was topped with one shrimp, corn relish, and a small cilantro garnish. Personally, I felt the chowder was strong enough on its own and didn't necessarily need the extra toppings. Sometimes keeping it simple really lets a dish shine. For my entrée, I ordered the center-cut ribeye cooked medium rare. When I cut into it, it was a perfect medium rare -- juicy and cooked beautifully. The garlic butter was a nice touch. I did feel like it could have used a bit more seasoning, as I found myself adding extra salt and pepper to bring out the flavor. The vegetables weren't my favorite, and the golden mashed potatoes were decent but leaned slightly dry rather than creamy. Not bad -- just not particularly memorable. My aunt ordered the Cioppino. The seafood itself was cooked properly, but the dish was served just warm instead of hot. We asked our server to have it reheated, and she handled it promptly. The broth was a little mild for my taste, but my aunt, who has hypertension, actually appreciated that it wasn't overly salty. For dessert, we shared the crème brûlée, which ended the night on a high note. It had a nice caramelized top and a slight crunch at the bottom -- possibly an Oreo crumble -- which added a fun twist. Overall, the ambiance and service at The Copper Note were truly impeccable and made for a lovely evening with family. While some of the dishes didn't quite match the level I expected for the price point, the experience itself was enjoyable, and the team clearly cares about hospitality. With a few flavor adjustments, the food could easily rise to match the excellent atmosphere they've created.

Finally, Prescott has an upper scale restaurant offering a quality, tastebud tempting menu (clam chowder is an Arizona spicy version), delectably delectable presentation, informed, attentive customer care, and a nice, light jazz music playlist combined in a choice downtown location overlooking the courthouse square - perfect place to enjoy the glow of Prescott's Christmas lights. This restaurant's ambiance/decor lends well toward an intimate dining evening and/or convivial conversation at the classy bar with ample seating and centrally located in this open air floor plan surrounded by tables, as well as booths. Additionally, several tables are located just outside the main dining area for a more private, tranquil dining experience. Smart casual to business casual attire is most appropriate for this environment; however, The Copper Note will graciously accept "Arizona Casual" attire as well. Pro Tip - do yourself a favor and dress for success when indulging in an evening experience here, the classiest restaurant Prescott has to offer as of this writing, July 2026. After all, the relaxed "Walmart" shopper look can be endured all over town...not that there's anything wrong with that! I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'. The Copper Note is "right on tune" and may leave you with an "Unforgettable" feeling ...by Nat King Cole.

The question is "What went well". The answer is simply everything! Especially our waiter, Jacob! He was informative and knowledgeable of his menu with every recommendation being spot on for each course. The portions were perfect, flavorful and extremely satisfying. The meal was topped off by the outstanding New York - New York Cheesecake with the strawberry purée and the caramel sauce. The overall atmosphere was superb with nothing left to chance. Again, none of this would have been this good without our OUTSTANDING server Jacob!! Great job Jacob!!!!

Well, I really wanted to love this place. I thought the atmosphere was very nice, especially if you are able to get a table at the window...which we did not. We came in late on a Wednesday night. It wasn't busy, and the service was great. I ordered the Cioppino, and the BF ordered the pork porterhouse center cut. I didn't care for the Cioppino at all. I felt like the broth base was too fishy, and the seafood in it was overcooked. The BF enjoyed his pork, but thought it was a tad undercooked. We both agreed that we wouldn't come back. With so many other choices, we will be off to find a new favorite.

    Salmon tacos, pretty good
    Kris L.

The atmosphere and service are nice and the view of the courthouse square is a bonus. I like the booths and the table lamps which add a touch of class. We went for a late lunch and I had the salmon tacos - kind of an odd choice for tacos. They were cooked well but needed double tortillas in order to keep their shape. They came with avocado and a small healthy salad and pickled jalapeño plus an odd mayonnaise based sauce which just didn't go with tacos. Overall a good dish but a bit overpriced for what it was. A side of whole black beans would be a nice compliment. The flourless chocolate torte was excellent, not too sweet or rich. I think it was made with almond meal. I'd come back just for this torte.

Everyone enjoyed their entree dish. Our server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The ambiance is one of the best in town--dark, classy, romantic vibe.

New restaurant in Prescott!! Woo-hoo! Service: well-trained veteran food servers run this show, and it is apparent. Ambiance: upscale, great romantic lighting, quite loud and lively. Food: nice menu, hope they enlarge it as time goes on. 5 star because it is the best restaurant in Prescott.

No Basmati Rice as described , just a skewer on a plate with Green Beans..
    Diane Z.

" Rice was discontinued". Excellent food the last three visits, this time we brought our best friends, and I had to question a few things for the first time. I ordered the skewer as I always do and I notice the meat was less, and there was no rice ?? When I asked what happened to the rice, I was told" the rice was discontinued" I asked how do you discontinue Rice? I hope this is not a downward trend for a restaurant that has been so refreshing on the quality of their food.

Wahoo with Quinoa, ponzu sauce, and side of Mashed Potatoes.

Dining at The Copper Note with a stunning view surely deserves special mention, plus, celebrating the New Year with the most refreshing Moscow mule drinks was super fun! Sandra our wonderful server did an excellent job in recommending the Wahoo with a side of mashed potatoes, love it! This was a delightful choice which I thoroughly enjoyed, and so was the clam chowder soup. We applaud the effort and dedication of the staff in establishing The Copper Note restaurant. Prescott needs a place like this! Kudos to all of the brightest minds and hearts of those behind the scene ~ wish you more success for many years ahead!

I got the filet mignon and it tasted burnt. The service as excellent our waitress was really nice . But it was really loud.
