The atmosphere was a vibe but beyond that was not impressed at all. The service was really bad on a not very busy evening. We ordered a meat pizza with added jalapeños (a $3 extra charge), a salad, and a Diet Pepsi. When the order came out the salad was missing the dressing, our pizza had no jalapeños, and they gave us a regular Pepsi. I asked for the jalapeños that I ordered and the cashier argued with me about already paying for them so I had to show my receipt. She then asked the kitchen who said it would be a few minutes. After 8 min standing there I asked for whatever she had so I didn't have to go back to a cold pizza. The pizza was just ok and the salad just bitter lettuce with no dressing. We were looking for a quick bite to eat and stopped in here. You order at a window and are given a buzzer to take with you while you wait for your food. There are chairs and picnic tables kind of outdoors, but under a roof. There are heaters to keep you warm on chilly days and nights. If you want a beverage, they have a full service bar along one side of the space. We ordered our food and went upstairs to eat it. We got the meatballs and some wings with hot honey on the side. Both were tasty. The meatballs were covered with sauce and cheese and had some cheesy bread with it. The wings were one pound. read more

I was waiting for a table at Bocce's and came over here for a drink. I ordered a Prosecco Sangria. It was sweet and delicious. I was able to take my drink over to Bocce's when my table was ready. After eating at Bocce's I came back over here for gelato. They have in house made gelato. It was good but I did not feel like it had the consistency of gelato. I still enjoyed it. We did takeout - really good pizza and that's coming from an East Coast perspective. We ordered the meat pie and that was extremely flavorful. The cured meats, the cheese and the combination of chili oil was very intense. 12 inch pie size is really more of a personal pan size. read more

Not sure why anyone would give a 4 star review where there was not one thing they didn't like... Anyway, this is the best pizza I've ever had in the entire United States. After being denied admittance to The patio at Pizzeria Bocce because we had our dog with us, we went next door to Strada and had drinks and an order of fries. With tip, we spent $35 for a beer, a cocktail, an order of fries including tax and tip. The drinks were good and the order of fries were large. I went back to the order window and asked for another 2 oz portion of dip which was very tasty. I was told that it would be another $1.10. I declined. We go to Cottonwood regularly for eating and site seeing and there are plenty of great places to eat. If the management feels the need to charge for the occasional extra condiment, I'll respect that but eat elsewhere. It's not the money, but the failure of management to understand the value of repeat business. read more

Took a side quest to stop here for some gelato. Compared to the larger size venues in the city, this one does not compare at all but we sampled a few flavors and of the ones we liked, we'd probably only come here to get something cold in our bellies. I thought their tiramisu was best but had too much of a coffee flavor; the salted caramel was alright but way too sweet. They really pack the dishes with the gelato though. The idea is nice and their variety is totally decent. The ambiance is laid back and the location is stellar. The layout of the place is interesting because they're kiddie corner to a bar and to the pizza restaurant. From the shaded dining / seating area, they have bocce ball available right around the corner. For the size of this town, this place is a great addition. read more

Super cute bar/restaurant and great concept with the shipping containers. Great views of Main Street Cottonwood from the upper patio seating and delicious drinks! Paloma and Old Fashioned were top notch and service was stellar. Tons of heaters for the colder months so don't avoid this place because it's open concept, you'll be perfectly comfortable. read more

I have been customer for several years and usually order Cires pizza. Last few times it has not been excellent as previously. The pizza is HEAVY on mozzarella, skimpy on ricotta and other toppings. It is sometimes appears undercooked. Price has been around $18 and now $22. Skimpier ingredients and higher price. May not return. A shame because it was such a standout for so long. I almost don't want to give a review as to be selfish and keep this gem to myself. For starters, our server was amazing. She was so personable and gave great suggestions. We ordered an antipasto salad that was so delectable with fresh veggies and meat. Then we ordered the pizza special and after living in Italy for 3 years, this pizza has been the closest I've had to true Italian pizza since leaving. We had the green apple martini with blackberry infused liqueur and it was so good. I never would have thought to put those ingredients together. I spoke with the manager upon leaving to let him know my thoughts on how wonderful this restaurant is and I've told several friends to visit. We will be stopping in EVERY time we are near Cottonwood. read more

Stayed in town for a birthday weekend, and stumbled upon this place. The service, food, ambience, and setup was amazing. Watching the staff cook while sitting at the high top was the best part in my opinion. We ended up eating here twice on vacation, because we loved it so much. read more

I think Strada doesn't know what it is. Is it a take out place or is it an eat in place that's more like a food truck? My recommendation is to make it a take out window and forget the rest. Admittedly we did not stay for dinner as I decided the place lacks any class and that was decided that after 2 minutes of sitting at the bar. We are fans of Bocce but my wife and I feel the Haunted Group might have missed the boat with this place. The bartender poured a meager Old Fashioned and delivered it without as much as a "here is your drink", but merely plunked it on the bar and left. He delivered menus but never followed up by asking for an order or if that was not the case, instructing us how to order. He had zero personality. Vignettes from our ten minutes there: one Stetson bedecked man apparently feeling the Western vibe sitting upon a table meant to sit at, while carrying on a loud conversation across the room, a large female swilling big glasses of what looked to be White Zinfandel seated at the end of the bar while bellowing laughter loud enough to hear in the parking lot across the street. This was at five thirty. Those are just two of the three objectionable scenes with which we were treated while there for 15 minutes. My advice is that when you cater to clientele more at home at a food truck in a dicey neighborhood maybe that's a demographic that's not worth pursuing. read more

After visiting the area several different times, this was the best place in the Cottonwood/Jerome/Sedona area by far. From the ladies taking the order, to the manager making recommendations, to the young lady supporting the whole dining area, the service was the best we've had in a very long time (probably since long before COVID). Then the food arrived very quickly and was awesome. The pizzas, wings, and salad were all great. Gelato was too. This was exactly what we needed after a long day of seeing the area. The restaurant is overall great- almost seemed like the same great service and food as next door, but in a less formal and more comfortable atmosphere. The one young lady covering the dining area was on top of it for what looked like, but didn't seem like a lot of people. The manager seemed to be great support as well and was very friendly and welcoming to customers (and did so in a way without the awkwardness you can get from some managers at restaurants).
