We went to Panera Bread today in Prescott, AZ and found the cashier to be less than helpful regarding the BOGO reward. She seemed to not know how the reward worked. More thorough cashier training on the reward system and customer service would be of immediate necessity. Unfortunately, we had to forgo our reward and purchase off the menu. We eat at panera a few times a week. We love their variety in meals and especially like their salads. The service has alwas been great, the staff is friendly and helpful. The outside eating area is a great added space to sit when the weather is nice and the inside is always clean and kept up. .It has a friendly enviornment. I did the "You pick 2" so I got a 1/2 Chipotle chicken avocado melt and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup, with a nice chunk of their bread. The bread had a nice crunch on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. It was perfect for dipping in my soup. The sandwich and soup had great flavor and textures. I went through the drive-thru and it was relatively fast. There was a car in front of me so I may have waited 8 minutes at the most to get my food. The woman at the window was smiling and friendly. I haven't been to Panera since moving to Prescott and on my way home I was in the mood for a sandwich so I decided to stop in. Located off of Gateway Blvd in the same plaza with Best Buy. Mediterranean veggie with Peppadew piquant peppers, feta, cucumbers, emerald greens, vine-ripened tomatoes, red onions, hummus, salt, and pepper on Tomato Basil. I got some chips with it. It was pretty good I wanted a blueberry and pumpkin muffin but they were all out so I settled for a zucchini muffin. It was so good I will be be ordering this again. I will NOT recommend this eatery to anyone. I will not be returning. Management needs to ramp up food handling and quality control. The staff at this Panera are always friendly and helpful. They greet customers with a warm smile and have genuine kindness. They answer my questions with a good attitude. On my first visit there, I was offered a free drink as a "welcome to Panera." The next time I went, I expressed an interest in a seasonal item they were selling. I was told by the manager that Panera had prepared too many of that item that day and I could get this item added free to my purchase. I loved the item so much that I went back the next day and bought 2 more! On my most recent visit, the staff had trouble finding the order I had placed in advance, so they gave me a free cookie as I waited for them to locate my order. It did not even take them very long to find the order. I highly recommend Panera! read more

Yesterday I had the best service from this location! I was trying to order lunch for an office meeting for multiple people but wanted to make sure all meals were packaged separate for health and safety- so full platters were not an option. I had challenges with the current 3rd party delivery option available, the menu options weren't the same and for some reason soups were not available, it also thought that this location was not open for some reason which was weird. Anyways, I ended up calling and talking to Kyle and Desiraye at this location and they both went over and beyond with customer service by helping me place a delivery order through their catering menu! They were able to package individual meals and even write the names of each person on them for easy selecting! It was so much easier working with them then dealing with the third party app! I will definitely be using this service again! An actual employee from Panera delivered my food and it was on time and all the meeting attendees said their meals were delicious! It's unfortunate that Panera changes their menu so often, but on a good note, the service is impeccable! We have been to this particular location three times since moving into the area and the service has always been great. During our last visit I ordered some spicy sandwich that was being featured, but I was not happy with it all. It wasn't what I expected, because the "spice" was actually buffalo sauce and I'm not a fan. I did ask for something else and Ben was quick to make things right! He was actually great and made the visit worth Yelping about! My husband got the Buffalo Grilled Chicken sandwich and he enjoyed his choice. Food is always fresh and you can "not" like the bread! My replacement sandwich was also very good, but again, Ben is the reason for the review! Quick, friendly, and very professional service! I needed to pick a spot for a group/family lunch that could accommodate all sorts of different diets and preferences, that would let us hang out and talk for awhile without being constantly interrupted. Panera was the winner! We arrived during lunchtime on a Sunday and it wasn't completely packed, so that was nice. We got a table with an excellent view and then ordered. The vegan options were limited, but decent. We got a whole Mediterranean sandwich minus the cheese and on foccacia as the default bread wasn't vegan. We also ordered a kids PB&J. Both were excellent tasting, but fairly pricey for what they were. The Med sandwich needed more of the delicious hummus - especially since I ordered it with no cheese. The kids sandwich was so small we had to order a second one. Other folks in our group got the black bean and tomato soups, and loved them, but were disappointed that the bread was not served with butter. By the time we wanted to order the second PB&J, the line was out the door. I used the order kiosk instead of waiting in line, but it broke (went to some default screen and I couldn't get the order screen back) and there was no one around to help. I then used a different kiosk, but by then they were all out of buzzers. Not very efficient! Service was fast and friendly, and we had a nice visit. I'd love to see more clearly marked vegan options, and a little more help with the kiosks (or at least periodic checks to make sure they are working/stocked). read more

So the reason as to why this Panera bread is 5 stars is because of the view. The restaurant is at the top of the hill next to Best Buy and it has the best views. They have outdoor seating and seating indoors next with just as great of a view. Other things to note is there is plenty of parking and plenty of room to sit inside. They have self serve kiosks inside of you don't want to wait in line or maybe you don't feel like talking to anyone. Highly recommend checking this place out! I have have been coming here over the past week, and I have had the best service I have ever had at a bakery/coffee shop! The bagels are awesome and the coffee is right on spot. Today I was not hungry so was just getting coffee and they (employees and manager(maybe one of the owners not sure), made me feel welcome even with an order as small as a cup of coffee! This place is a Gem and I'm glad I found it. They now do delivery and catering. It is a fun place to start your day even when busy. There are car club meeting a few times a week and the cars are nice to look at as you enjoy your breakfast/coffee. I enjoyed talking with some of the car owner, even took some pictures. read more

You get your own drink, which saves time for everyone. But soup bowl portions seem smaller if you have them to go compared to eating in.
