I'm a big JM fan - I think they make the best subs of all the sandwich chains. I move a lot for work, so, I have been a "regular" customer in flagstaff, Tucson, and Phoenix, and now, Prescott. Something is really wrong at this Prescott location - it's by far the worst of any JM I've been to. Their service is always really slow and inattentive - and they have no idea of how to call out finished orders (esp. mobile orders), so you never know when your food is ready. So, since the service is generally bad, we only eat here every once in a while. To try to solve the slow service problem, the last three times we've ordered, we did mobile pick up or delivery. Jokes on us, because this only made it worst - all three times they have succeeded in getting multiple sandwiches wrong in our order. And this is particularly bad, because on pickup/delivery you don't find out the order was wrong until you drive all the way back to home/work and hand them out to everyone - so, the only way to fix the problem is to take an hour out of your day and drive back - reorder - and then drive home. It's usually not possible if you're at work, and not worth it if you're at home. It sucks. In the words of Ned Flanders: "I would have expected this kind of service at Subway, but not here!" And I know this isn't a typical scenario, so it's not really 100% their fault, but, JM: you made my autistic son have a mini meltdown today, because he can eat certain foods, and his was one of the orders you got wrong. I don't mind this jersey mikes at all. Each time I have gone I have had a good experience as the staff overall have been friendly and the location is pretty clean. They do a good job Kalinga the sandwich according to what I order and they also make sure that the sandwich is wrapped tightly and professionally. The only problem I have with this jersey mikes is the location. It can be a bit frustrating to get to this location as it's kind of hidden. It's a small space and it's annoying to try and leave as the traffic nearby can be busy and frustrating to deal with. The only other problem is how irritating it is to get to this location as there's always tons of traffic near here too. But otherwise it's a good jersey mikes. read more

Went in yesterday and it was very crowded. I was probably the sixth in line and the poor employees are trying to keep up because this man ordered ten sandwiches with different toppings. He should've ordered online but anyway. The man in front of me, did nothing but complain. He definitely is one of Prescott's good ole boy club!! He didn't want to pay for his sandwich because he thought it was too expensive. I felt so bad for the kids working and finally one of them, just told him to leave. This is an attempt to have management train their sandwich wizards a little more thoroughly. One of the best sandwich chains going right now. Good quality ingredients if they make it on your sandwich. Because I hate waiting in line I I usually order online through the app. The bad news is 75% of the time my order gets messed up... usually it doesn't have the bacon that I paid an additional $3 dollars for, however today's masterpiece was order with extra cheese +$1.95, and I received no cheese, nada zilch, zero. I went about 50 minutes before closing time. The OPEN sign was already turned off. The employees had a terrible attitude, they acted like I was disturbing them. After we received our sandwiches they told us the dining room was closed. WTH it was still withing their opening hours so once again WTH, do I have fleas or something? I sent a complaint to Jersey Mike's about a month ago, and NEVER received a response. My complaint was about a long hair that I found in the Portabella mushroom sub that I ordered. There was a hair in the second half of the sub, and I litterally gagged when I took a bite and had to immediately throw away the rest of the sub. I have noticed that Jersey Mike's in Prescott, Arizona doesn't require their employees to wear hairnets. It is also quite noticeable that the store is not very clean. Note that about 9-10 months ago when I was going to Jersey Mike's I saw a brown mouse running away frm the store front pressed against the outer building wall of their strip mall. This chain is a favorite of mine. When it comes to a sandwich, I love getting my meats cut at the time of the sandwich is made. It's a bonus that their bread is also really good. I like a crusty outside and a light and airy inside. This bread is all of that. Staff have been friendly and attentive each time I have visited this location. Overall a great sub shop! read more

OK. It has been a month since I went to the national website for Jersey MIke's and filed a complaint and commented. They never acknowledged my comment/complaint. A week or so later I wrote a personal letter to the store in Prescott addressed to "franchise owner". Not an acknowledgement or call or anything happened. My complaint was simple; poorly made food. And this is from a guy (me) who started going to "Mike's" at the Jersey Shore when I was growing up there as a kid. Loved the place; a walk up. Fast forward decades and they finally made it out our way. And we were OK with it but not wild; it was OK. The recent visit we ordered via the APP; my Club was fine but sloppy. The BLT was awful: 2 little scraps of bacon; 2 little pieces of tomato; hardly any lettuce. So we "doctored" the disaster at home and moved on. Again... no one has gotten back to us. And tonight we will go to Subway; tell them what we want on our subs and it will be great. NOTICE TO MANAGEMENT AND THE BIG MAN AND THE STORE OWNER- YOUR JOB #1 is quality and reliability of the food. Picked up sandwiches that we ordered online, got home and it was the wrong order. Tried to call at 7:40 (they close at 9:00) rang, rang, rang.... kept calling finally someone answers "PizzaHut "I said I'm sorry I have the wrong number and hung up... After numerous attempts someone finally answers "Pizza Hut ". To which I responded, "I am trying to reach Jersey Mike's" they say " well, this is Pizza Hut, We don't know their number" I tell them this is the only number I could find and they ask me where I was looking...as I hear laughing In the background. I then asked for the girls name and was told she wasn't allowed to give it to me so then I asked to speak to a manager to which I was told there wasn't one there.... I asked to speak to someone else working there and was told that they were busy, when I said I would hold they said "OK"and hung up on me. I proceeded to drive down to the location and ask for the owners phone number and was told they don't have cards with that information (what franchise doesn't have cards for the management?) so they would write it down for me. At this point I assume it's probably one of their friends?!? My husband is pretty frustrated at this point that his order is screwed up and that they are lying so he drives down and ask them what's going on to which they reply they have teenagers working there and they must've done that but they are now gone for the night and then the next story was "their phones weren't working" ?!? Which is it? It's a bunch of lies.... they don't want to take orders so they can get out of there. We show up the next day to speak to the manager and ask her if the phone number we were given was hers, her response was "yes but I don't know why they're giving you my personal number?" When we started to tell her what happened she told us she "knew all about it" and she had put a sign in the back for the employees that said "if anybody answers the phone Pizza Hut they will be fired". What the heck?!? When we asked again for the owners contact information she wouldn't give it to us and said she was "part owner, my parents own it". My husband and I have owned & still own businesses and told her if any of our employees did that they would not be working for us anymore to which she chuckled... The customer service here is horrible and I will not be returning for any of it I don't care how good the food is there is no excuse to be treated that way and I will not tolerate it I will find someone else to give my business to. read more

Great bread, which tastes like an old sub shop. Options are white, wheat, and rosemary parmesan. Gluten-free bread costs extra. The bread is why I am giving this place 5 stars. Mike's reminds me of the subs from my childhood. Though the price is higher than Subway per inch, I have a relative who refuses to go to Subway. Great cheese combo in the veggie sub (Swiss and provolone). But like Subway and Jimmy John's, can be stingy with veggies. So you have to specify if you want extra. Advice from a third-party website: "Here are the veggies that don't cost any extra: lettuce, tomato, onion, green bell peppers, pickles, cherry pepper relish, banana peppers, and jalapeños. Ask your server to pile 'em high." Quick service during the lunch hour. Convenient location next to Daylight Donuts. Dining area is small but there were still plenty of chairs since most orders are taken out. (You could even have a picnic at the Thumb Butte Recreation Area, which is three miles or nine minutes away.) Pricing: Similar to Jimmy John's pricing model of $1+ per inch with relatively few deals compared to Subway. Cost here for the veggie or some meat subs is $7.95 for regular size (7") and $14.95 for giant (14-15"). Bowl option is the same price as the regular size sub or wrap. Drinks & chips: Like Subway, you can get a large drink and chips for less than $4. Pepsi from the fountain didn't taste very good. Would get the can of Stubborn soda next time (root beer or black cherry with tarragon). They also have bottles of Pure Leaf tea, which would be better tasting than their unlimited Lipton tea. I have gone to Jersey Mike's for 15 years in various locals. I was glad to see Jersey Mike's came to Prescott. Jersey Mike's has always put a nice amount of meat and cheese on their sandwiches, which is why I go there. I have gone there numerous times, over the years however the last 3 visits the sandwiches were terrible. Minimal meat and cheese about 1/4" and not a lot vegetables either. A small sandwich that looks like a subway sandwich but paying much more for this pathetic sandwich. They have become really cheap on the contents of their subs. On another note the last time I came to this location it has snowed pretty heavily and there was a berm of snow piled up about 2 feet high, the parking lots was loaded with snow. Had to step up on the snow and slide down the berm - yes it had turned to ice. Very dangerous. When I mentioned this to an employee he said that the snow removal company had not come - no kidding? He said we should be glad they are open. Really someone could not go with a shovel and clear a path 1 foot wide to access the door? This place is really a disappointment.
