It was served with tasty baguette slices, which was a perfect accompaniment to the soup. The portions were big so I had enough left over for another full meal at home. Had lunch here with a group of nine ladies. Several ladies had the avocado toast, which was very skimpy on the avocado, appeared to be smashed avocado from Costco and very little of it . I am pulled pork, which was tasty. The coleslaw is large chunks of cabbage which on a pork sandwich is better if it's fine shred . As for the french fries I prefer real potatoes - these had a flaked and formed texture that's all. I'm gonna say some lady had the soup which they were tasty. I ate a few of her fries, they were delicious. I've never had fries made that way before. They're like a cross between French fries and mini-hashbrowns. My waffle was perfectly cooked, the chicken flavorful. Sorry I don't have photos, I dived right in and forgot to take any. It was very busy when we went in, and they could have benefited from having one more waitress on duty. But it was worth the wait for the great food. I had no desire to go back but another friend wanted to try it. I had breakfast with eggs, potatoes, sausage and a hot chocolate. First, the hot chocolate was luke warm and a 3/4 cup. No whipped cream or marshmallows to make it special. The breakfast was ok. They lack basic skills in presentation to make food more appetizing. I doubt this restaurant will be in business much longer. Went here for brunch on a Sunday. We got seated very quickly inside. Very cute atmosphere, and great patio area. Our service was excellent. Most of us got breakfast and it was served very simple, almost too simple...all agreed that the addition of salt and pepper was a must on eggs and potatoes. Took my daughter-in-law, her mother, my mother and husband for a late lunch. Although we all had different dishes, the consenses was that it was OK. To give it a second chance, I took my girlfriend for lunch. She had a breakfast meal and I tried their soup and salad. The side salad was average but the broccoli cheddar soup was just plain awful, there was a lot of broccoli and no cheddar. If it had been just OK, I would have eaten it but it was so bad I had to leave it. My friend had a taste and agreed that it was just bad. My friend added that her breakfast was OK, but she has had just as good or better at Denny's. All in all, I think will pass when we want to go out for lunch. read more
