I love the food here. I have had their bagels many times, but today was the first actual meal I've tried. I had a turkey and bacon sandwich on some amazing tomato basil bread. I think I could eat a loaf of that bread by itself, really really tasty. The sandwich was the freshest I've had in memory. The bagels are the best in the world as far as I'm concerned. I love that they recently built this Panera so close to my house. This place is like a Starbucks but instead of coffee they serve food and its a bakery. They have free wifi and I often see people studying here. The food is awesome and I mostly love their soups and salads even though their sandwiches are also awesome. The pick 2 combo is usually what I order which allows you to pick a soup and either 1/2 a salad or 1/2 a sandwich with an extra dollar if you pick a signature one. It's a bit pricey but as long as you don't go too often, its worth it. read more

This morning I went to Panera, Moreno Valley California, the attendant was a very rude person just taking my order, like if she is in a hurry and I'm bugging her. She resembled a nasty Sargent pushing his junior to his limits. When I complained about her manners and asked her to call her manager she insisted in her attitude. The manager came and the first thing she responded to me after I explained the situation with her employee, was that she never had problems with her. I explained my complain again but she insisted in her answer that "she didn't have a problem with her." She repeated this three times and I told her that she didn't value my complaint. She said, "yes I do-but I don't have a problem with her" Then I understood the real stem where everything starts. I tried to connect with headquarters but when I saw all the negative reviews they have, I considered my complaint was not strong enough compared to all the disappointment that hundreds of customers have with Panera so I stopped right there. read more

The rating isn't so much for the company, but for one of the employees. Now let me tell you that I'm always observant of the staff since I believe attitude is important. Everyone was alright and so was my food but I noticed one young man, who I believe his name tag said Omar. He had a little attitude with me. He also walked around like he owned the place. Being that i once worked in fast food management I could clearly tell that no matter how much he walked around as "royalty" Mr. Omar was obviously VERY inexperienced. But that wasn't what made me want to write this review. I saw that he could barely carry one tray without his wrist wiggling. I honestly thought it was going to snap. I used to carry up to three trays at a time and this young fellow was only carrying one. While he was cleaning up, he told another Co-worker who I believe her name was either Breanna or Brenda, to clean up her own plates and left her while still leaving his task unfinished. But the icing on the cake for me was that on multiple occasions I've seen young Omar crying on the job as if having a mental break-down. As I said, I used to work in food management, and I would NEVER hire someone who wouldn't be able to handle their job. Its unprofessional and just down right pathetic. attitude means a lot in the food industry. And his is just plain nasty. read more

I visited this restaurant on 12/31/14 for breakfast and free wi-fi. I ordered one of their breakfast sandwich and a muffin + coffee. The muffin was tasty and really good so was their freshly brewed hazelnut coffee. The egg, sausage and spinach sandwich on one of their bun was terrible to say the least. The egg tasted like it was microwaved nu th half cooked. The sausage stuck on the egg was tasteless. The worst part of the sandwich was the spinach that was not fresh at all. The taste was really bad! I would not order those breakfast sandwiches in future. Better to stick with their freshly baked breads, muffins, pastry and bagels. I highly recommend that PB should make these sandwiches using real ingredients and not prepackaged frozen eggs and sausage, especially given that their breads on which the egg/sausage/spinach is served on, is indeed fresh and tasty. The second issue I had with PB is that they offer a single toilet per gender in a restaurant serving more than 40 people + it's own staff of approximately 10 crew members at any given time. It forces diners to visit next door restaurants and fast food when in a crisis. Remember, PB patrons generally sit in for least 30 minutes to an hour, on average. To serve female patrons and male patrons with a single bathroom, apiece is just not higienic. read more

When it's raining and cold outside you can't go wrong with the tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwich! To top it off I ended my meal with an almond croissant and was very tasty. I placed a curbside pick up order due to the current pandemic. I placed the order an hour in advance, but they still managed to be 15 minutes late. I never expect much from their food aside from the bagels, so the poor quality, expensive price, and taste were expected. This was a choice from a friend, so I obliged. The portion for the family feast would never feed 4-6 people, especially since the baguette was missing from the meal and the large macaroni and cheese. I asked for plates and utensils for 6 people and only received 4, probably because they knew this would never feed 6 people. I mean, there were more plastic utensils than food! I tried calling the location to see if I could pick up the baguettes, but no one picked up and the phone disconnected. Emailed the website and received notification that someone would contact me, but that still has not happened 3 days later. So I am back to boycotting them. So much for supporting businesses during a pandemic. The salad was old and dry, reminiscent of a salad you would get from a discount superstore and definitely not family portion size with 4 tablespoons of dressing. Back on the banned list! read more

Amazing service!!!! We were on our way from Texas back to Califonia, Decided to stop to eat a warm meal after such a long drive! Everything was perfectly delicious . Much more convenient, particularly for UCR people, than the Plaza location. Lots of parking. I've come at different times of day and the staff are consistently friendly and helpful, and the food consistently decent. They changed the process to in cafe pickup now. They process every order individually now. My guess that they got too many negative reviews and are now trying to get every order right. That's good. However the wait is now approximately 30 minutes around lunch time. I put in my order at 11:48am and was sitting inside the cafe still waiting for my order at 12:20pm. My lunch is from 12-1. So basically I have to waste half my lunch time just to wait for them to prepare one bowl and a tiny cup of soup. Laughable. McDonald's has way more customers during lunch time and they don't let their customers wait 30 min each. Anyways, it takes me about 20 min to drive to Panera and get back to work. That leaves me with 40 min of actual lunch time. Accounting for the 30 min wait, I'm left with 10 mins to eat. Not cool. The wait before was about 10 min. So it went from 10 to 30 min. You'd think that they'd at least get the orders right if they give themselves more time to prepare them. But that's not the case. The other day I got a warm and properly cut baguette about half the size of a normal baguette and today I got 1/4 size of a normal baguette and it was ripped apart all messy and cold. Additionally, I wasn't given a spoon to eat my soup which has happened multiple times. When my order was processed according to the email it wasn't actually processed and I had to ask an employee and give them my name. I always order the same thing by the way. A bowl and a soup. Not much to prepare is it? They have so many employees and can't get it right. Fire that manager Panera!!! read more

I frequent the San Bernardino store, for the most part - they're the closest to my office. I was really happy to hear they opened one in MoVal. I've had lunch there a couple weeks ago. Service was alright, food came up fast. It was good too. No complaints. I recently used their catering services - I'm really happy with this. I love this panera just like the rest of 'em although its nice to finally have one in Mo Val. The staff at this location is very professional and helpful. This is a good location to study at as it doesn't get too noisy or crowded. Apparently, it is quite the hotspot for the 65+ crowd on weekdays before 9am ;) The outdoor seating is sparce and not as great as other locations like the Riverside location. But parking is much more ample. Don't forget: the wifi is limited during their peak hours of 11am to 2pm. read more

However, there is only one outlet in the entire dining area, they should really fix that since customers bring their laptops here all the time. I was never really a fan of Panera. I come here every now and then during my break at work to use their WIFI and enjoy the atmosphere. In terms of their food, I feel like I pay too much for what I actually get. Out of all the Panera Bread locations I've visited in the IE and OC, this one is my favorite. I live in Chino Hills, work in Brea, but went to college in Riverside. There's a lot of Panera Bread locations in between. The food is pretty much the same everywhere, but The Day Street location always makes my trip personable. The managers always greet me. They usually deliver my food as well and ensure I'm satisfied with the outcome. As a customer, I really appreciate that. The girls at the front counter are pleasant and knowledge about the menu. Ordered the (you pick two) and got. blt ( added sides , which I got charged for) and it had none of the sides I ordered!! They could of at least told me they were out of stock and not charged me for items that weren't even going to be added to my sandwhich!! My salad was absolutely DISGUSTING the meat wasn't even cut and looked highly questionable!
