I'm not sure why this Panera has such bad ratings. It's as fine as any other Panera. Our order was made quickly and the employees that I interacted with were friendly and helpful. read more

A disappointment. Orders had to be placed on a computer by the customer, no staff available to answer questions. The computer screen was filthy, covered with oils and food particles. It was an annoyingly long wait for the food, (which had to be picked up) and every empty table was dirty with spills. The food was mediocre, no where near a $17 charge for a cup of soup and half-sandwich. We were expected to clear our own table, and the bathroom was locked. The final insult was a request to tip, when there wasn't a single interaction with an employee. What happened to Panera? read more

Still loving the location. Keke was the best! I love her smile! So nice and inviting. Give her a raise. I'm not necessarily a fan of their bread but love the baguettes and croissants. Chicken and wild rice is the best soup ever! Green goddess salad wouldn't be my go to unless I was on keto... but I am and it's delicious. I do love how they cook their chicken. IRS always so soft and never dry. read more

Panera is honestly a hit or miss for me every time. This visit was a hit! With the chillier weather rolling in, I was craving their soup and sammie "you-pick-two" combo so I decided to stop in. Plus it's a nice atmosphere to get some work done. It was lunch time, so the line to the main register was long. I like the speedy check-out option to use the touch screens yourself - my order was in before half that line! They call your name when it's up at the counter, but you can also opt for a text to your phone to be notified. I went with veggie autumn squash soup and half chipotle chicken avocado melt. Both were honestly great! The black pepper focaccia they make the sandwich on is my fave and you really can't go wrong with a combo of smoked gouda and chicken. The soup was pipping hot and a nice rich blend of pumpkin and butternut squash. Notes of cinnamon and curry too. It met my craving needs! All of these meals come with a side of your choice too, so I opted for an apple. Otherwise you can choose chips or french bread. I feel like 10 bucks for the pick-two meal is a pretty good price too. All in all, happy with the visit! read more

Delivery from Panera has gotten way too expensive and we've had some hits and misses (like being brought someone else's order). But the food is usually pretty decent and I love the squash soup in the fall. read more

Food was good, but they did not properly package my food. No napkins, forgot my soup. They did immediately fix it and the staff was very nice about it, but more of an fyi to check your order especially if they are busy. read more

I think I have made my last Panera visit. A once proud franchise is now nothing but heat and eat prepared food. Today it was cold Mac and cheese and stale bread. What a shame. read more

I am sure that many will roll their eyes at five stars for a chain bakery place, but good service and food is good service and food, regardless of the origin or size of the place. I am always able to score a couple dozen bagels on short notice and staff is always more than happy to slice them right away for me, which is very helpful--ever tried to cut a bagel with a plastic knife? I'd rather be shot in the face, it's that frustrating! In addition to the breakfast, the service and food for both lunch and dinner has always been great, I like having such a nice location close to home and on my way to work. read more

Good food. Always pleasant staff. Enjoy going there for lunch and or dinner. Never a bad meal.

I suppose I can sort of see why people eat here, and yet, I can't... I am currently eating here and I've already decided that I'm not coming back. I received a gift card, which is why I am here in the first place. So, I'm considering just giving the four bucks I have left to some fool in line just so that I don't feel obligated to return. 1) Service is not good. I ordered my meal, said I wanted it "to go." The cashier then proceeds to ask me if I want my cinnamon roll on a tray or in a bag. To which I replied, "in a bag..." I wait for my order, which takes 3 minutes. When I go up to retrieve it, both my orders are on plates. I paused and considered just taking it. But then I said, "Eeee can I get this to go? I had asked for it to go." The guy huffs and rolls his eyes. He's clearly pissed by the sudden inconvenience. He starts bitching to whoever is in the back, saying whoever is taking orders needs mark items to-go, followed by more mumbling and complaining. I apologize for the inconvenience and then decide that I'm going to eat my meal there because I got called for a last minute babysitting gig, which leads me to the food... 2) The pasta is not worth it. More specifically, the Alfredo tortellini. You pay $9 for a subpar meal, when you could have bought a bag of tortellini at that point and make it better yourself. I got the Italian combo, warmed for my fiancé; It comes with chips. But since I hated the pasta, I ate half. This sandwich wasn't too bad. I would recommend it. However, at $9? Again, for me, not worth it. Also, the guy who was pissed off put the sandwich together poorly. It was poorly put together on the plate and then I watched him toss it in the container. Very sloppy. 3) Pros? Free wifi so that I didn't have to waste my data writing this lame review. Place is clean. Annnnd that's all I got for pros. Haven't even bothered to try the cinnamon roll yet. So We'll see. Don't recommend this place. Won't be back. read more

BROCCOLI AND MACERONI DO NOT MIX!!!! Listen to this. I ordered MACERONI AND CHEESE. Just MACERONI and cheese. What did I get? BROCCOLI AND MACERONI (and cheese). In a size large. I do not understand why Panera is trying to force their agenda on us by adding brocolli to maceroni and cheese. I did not ask or PAY EXTRA for this. All I wanted was CHEESE and NOODLES! No, I did not tell them or get this fixed. Why? Because of covid I did not eat there and did not know until home. Next time you want maceroni and cheese, buy kraft. ( I do not know how their sandwiches taste here). read more

Very rude workers and manager, cost them almost $50 due to poor customer service. I will never patronize them again.

This Panera has gotten better in the past year but today for our rapid-pick up order, my coffee was a 16 oz when I paid for a 20 oz. My husband didn't notice when he picked up our order. I'm pretty upset. The muffins are tasty as always, at least. read more

I need to lower my expectations at all Panera locations. The bakery is hit or miss; although I must admit I've had more hits. Take today, a pumpkin caramel scone was fresh and flavorful and obviously made fresh. It was light and airy on the inside and the caramel glaze gave a nice crunch to the outside. It's the tea that challenges me every time. I don't drink coffee so tea is my steady fix. And while I adore Rishi I'm realistic enough to know it's not going to be everywhere, and especially at a regional chain. Enter Republic of Tea, which can be good. There's loose tea has some nice flavors and their previous bags also fell into the not-too-bad realm. But about two years ago something change. Not sure if it's just the tea they do for Panera, or across the board, but in an attempt to go green and make their bags from recycled paper, they've diminished the flavors of all their blends. As soon as hot water hits the brown paper pouches a terrible earthy-on-the-verge-of-rotting-smell radiates from the cup. No matter the variety, they all smell bad. And that pretty much ruins the taste of the tea. So big note to self, and anyone else that enjoys a good cup of tea; skip it here and drink something else, or nothing at all, the tea is not worth the disappointment! read more

We went here primarily because we were traveling with friends and their dog. They are fine with you having your leashed dog join you on the patio. The wife was very happy with the French onion soup and half a sandwich. The veggie daughter swapped the chicken for avacado in the Thai salad and felt it was representative of other Panera's... Good but not wow. I went for the Thai Garden Chicken Wonton broth. Sadly I was not as pleased as the rest of my group. The broth was lukewarm, the wontons were cold and the wrapper was doughy and undercooked. The half Thai Garden Chicken Wonton salad was better, although I would have preferred for the chicken to be warm. I suspect I am not the target demographic and will leave this to the female members of the family. read more

I have often frequent Panera especially when they were offering free coffee, which by the way I really enjoyed. I usually have a good experience as staff are very friendly. However, I decided to order a fruit cup which was not worth what they are charging especially since the fruit cup wasn't full. I called to complained and they offered to me a new fruit cup and a treat for my kids which was really sweet. I was amazed that the 2nd cup was prepared the same way. I kindly accepted it and went on my way. Everything else that I ordered was great! read more

I like the place. I like Paneras in general, this one is fairly typical though a little smaller, with less parking and not always as sparkly clean as the one in Oak Creek. Still, I come here every now and then and I like the service which is generally quick and pleasant, the food is like at other Paneras. It's a good lunch or light snack place, good WiFi and coffee, a good place to get some work done (clean off your table first). read more

This is a decent Panera. I agree with Kate G. on the parking - it can definitely be congested around lunch time but there is a lot of turnover. Every once in a while they'll forget my croutons with my soup or get an order partially wrong, but they're super busy and hectic and I feel like that just happens sometimes. Maybe someday robots will prepare all of our food and mistakes will never be made. I'm partial to their creamy tomato soup and Vermont cheddar mac and cheese. I wish the broccoli cheddar soup was vegetarian. The staff are always really friendly. read more

The good: food was tasty The bad: I spent $119.94, of which 15% was a tip. 17 assorted items: sandwiches, wraps, oatmeal, coffee. This was for a meeting. Order called in the day before. Not a one of the 17 items were labelled. Several dfferent wraps, many different sandwiches, all looked similar through cellophane. We had to paw through each one to figure out which was which. Called to inform Panera, person who answered phone said we label for lunch but not for breakfast. $15.00 an hour minimum wage that's funny! read more

The customer service here is awesome!!! We came in with those new age gift cards, that work at multiple locations. We came in, swiped it, tried to pay the remaining balance and then everything went a little weird. The transaction was declined, the wonderful lady taking our order brought it straight to a manager and then he took care of us, quickly and without much incident. They definitely focus on their customer service here and it shows. Can't wait to come back again. read more

I always can count on this Panera to be a pleasant eat, with no problems until today. I ordered the mac n cheese, typically an order I never encounter problems with, but received what I would consider a soggy, yet dry, undercooked meal of macaroni and cheese. I am extremely disappointed and hope that this establishment takes time to consider this problem. read more

I would give this restaurant more stars, but really all i did was walk in, order, eat and leave. I will review it as best as I can. I walked in, the place was full of people, but I could see there were plenty of tables available to sit at. I checked out the menu for a while and decided to order one of their 1/2 soup, 1/2 sandwich combos. I love the Panera broccoli cheese soup, so that was definitely part of my order. For the 1/2 sandwich I went with the attendants recommendation (between the two options I gave him), I ordered the Bacon Turkey Bravo - hold the bacon - It was really good. It comes in their tomato basil bread that has a sweetness to it which goes great with the saltiness of the turkey. I thought it was warm, but it was room temperature. No prob, it still tasted really good. My order came out immediately, actually as I sat down they called my name. I curled myself in a corner by a window, took out my book and read as I enjoyed my meal. The noise level was low enough that I could read peacefully, but loud enough that I didn't feel alone - which was great, I don't like to feel alone when I'm eating alone. The portion size was great; I was satisfied, but not stuffed, and I had ordered an apple as the side offered (chose between apple, chips and bread). I ate the apple the next day at the airport and it was still fresh, sweet and delish. I always enjoy Panera anywhere I go, and this was certainly no exception. read more

Not to play the same tune, but I can rarely justify $10 for a lunch of a sandwich and soup. But when I'm ready to splurge, Panera is the place. Their soup is delicious and the array of sandwich options is dizzying. I love the You Pick Two that allow me to get a combination of soup or salad or half a sandwich, since I'm never feeling particularly decisive when I'm there - everything looks so good. This location is kind of inconvenient - despite being near Bayshore, if you're not heading East on Silver Spring or South on Port Washington, it's pretty impossible to get in. And the parking lot is always full. More than once I've thought about going here, remembered what a pain it is to get in and park and have chosen to go elsewhere. But in that area, there's a lot of fast food and not a lot of sit-and-eat options for lunch. If you're willing to deal with the hassle of getting in, it's by far the best cozy/comfy fast lunch place. read more

This place gets packed for the lunch hour with parking at a premium with a smaller lot. Access to this location can be a little tricky if you're trying to reach it going northbound yet if your going south or east you have access to the lot. I hate to say but I've had my fair share of meals here and at other Panera locations. They turnover quickly so it is a rush environment and there are mistakes usually made on your meal that are ordered. The food tends to be pretty good yet not really much in regards to customer service or attention to detail. I will stop here in a pinch otherwise pass right by to another place. read more

Panera bread.. Nationwide chain, same old stuff. Recently they've improved the menu by adding soba noodle bowls and pasta dishes. That makes me happier to come here. I pretty much despise all their old paninis, sandwiches and salads, but find their grilled cheese and soups redeeming. Their iced green tea is addicting, and honestly I would come just go get a giant cup of it. This particular restaurant is not very big and it's not as clean and organized as some other Paneras. Absolutely love the rapid order pick up option- order & pay using the app, walk in and grab your ready food and drinks from a cubby. This is such a great new feature and I've been getting a lot more carry out because of it. Keep improving, Panera, and we will come! read more

I am a regular customer of this Panera store because of its great location. On the plus side, the food is always good, it's delivered promptly and if there is any glitch it is quickly fixed. The downside is that the order takers are so slow that the bread could probably bake. Today there was a line of at least six people ad it was a few minutes before noon. There was only one young lady taking orders,. I asked one of the managers if another person could help. Though he said he'd get someone right away, it did only happen. Also, the folks behind the line move at a very slow speed. Management needs to train all of the clerks that lunch hours are limited and that everyone needs to speed it up. read more

Really like their mobile order grab and go system. The food is placed near door on a shelf with your name on it. I like Taste Two choices.

I don't understand why the automatic bagel slicer doesn't slice bagels in half, but rather just shaves 1/8" off the top. Every. Time. There are only 3 things I ever get at Panera and I wouldn't say any of them are fantastic, but they're fine, you know: 1) hazelnut coffee (which they are out of at least 33% of the time) 2) French toast bagel 3) Asian chicken salad, no chicken This place is hard to get into unless you happen to be going the right direction. There are no U-turns allowed at Silver Spring if you're headed North on Port Washington, so you might as well turn Right and go to Brueggers where they slice the bagels by hand so you won't end up with 2 wonky halves. read more

I've tried this place twice. The first time I tired their famous bread soup bowls. I haven't drank more water at a meal! It was so salty! The second time I had a sandwich and soup. Panera over the years has started to taste more and more prepackaged tome. This isn't a terrible thing but makes it a little less tasty. I used to love their bacon turkey bravo sandwich but it has lost it's zing to me...oh well. This particular location was just fine. Very clean and lots of available nooks to hide away in if you are hoping to do some work. The patio is quite nice outside and has many tables available as well. My tips: *they now have a whole wheat bread option as a side...win! *if you have a sweet tooth! a bakery item is just 99 cents if you get the you pick two and a drink. *good place to use the wifi and get work done Overall, if you need a place to go that has reliable internet and ok food this will work.
