Thick dust between booths

Our server was great and very friendly. The kitchen staff, however, was lacking. Waited 10 minutes between bowls of soup. Took home some "all you can eat pasta" and waited another 15 minutes for that. Glad I wasn't in a hurry.

Never Ending Soup, Salad & Breadsticks

This is the best Olive Garden in Central Wisconsin, the service couldn't be any better. I ordered pick up two times in the last week just because of how kind they were. The first time I got lasagna and a soup and salad combo and everything was made to perfection. The second time I got two soup and salad combinations, and they even threw in a few extra breadsticks. When I called and asked for special accommodations, they were eager to help and went above and beyond and getting me what I needed. When I picked up my food just the other day the lady complemented my car and was just so kind overall, I would recommend this Olive Garden to anybody looking for a nice Italian meal, hot and ready.

Hostess was extremely rude and unwelcoming. We were seated, and decided if that's how we were welcomed we do not want to spend money here.

We were thrilled with the familiarity but also with the newness of the menu. As it was far too hot to eat al fresco, we were given a table on the first floor near the window. We had 5:00 reservations and were seated immediately. Our server, Mason, was fun and efficient, but he also had to cover the bar so he was running. A few more staff would have been helpful as the tables filled up, and by 6:15, people were waiting outside to get a table. The age group of diners is varied, and everyone seemed to be very satisfied. We ordered the Bruschetta and the Salmon with Lemon Risotto, both of them prepared very well. The food tasted very fresh, and the presentation was lovely. I also ordered the Bolognese because I love a good dish of it. This one did not disappoint. However, the meat pieces were small pea-sized bits of beef, which tasted good, but looked a bit odd. I would like to know why, but I was too busy enjoying the dish. It is my birthday and so I was offered either a free cocktail or a dessert. I love a good treat so the flourless cake was my choice. It was a very nice birthday present. I really look forward to our next visit. The menu has lots of options I want to try.

Well, I do think it's worth mentioning they were top notch until the end and I hear there's a new chapter (possibly different, but with some of the same people involved) on the horizon. So, if when the new chapter arrives for the building where Belfre Kitchen thrived for so long, you wonder what came before and do these folks know what they're doing? They do. Belfre served up delicious food in a chic, warm, and welcoming atmosphere by servers who were kind and caring. Until we meet again, Belfre!

We were seated promptly and the place was almost full for Saturday dinner. After a short wait, they brought us table waters and left a large bottle of water for refills. I was a little disappointed that they didn't get us started with chips and salsa as is typical for most Mexican restaurants. They have a nice liquor selection and an expanded page of a variety of Tequilas and specialty margaritas. The menu is limited to only one page but focuses on a nice variety of appetizers, Tacos and meals. For starters, we ordered the Chips and pico de gallo. The pico was very fresh and tasty and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. For dinner, we ordered 3 tacos each - Manolos Bam Bam chicken tacos, Milwalke taco, Shrimp cilantro tacos, and the Quasi birria taco. When they arrived they seemed pretty small but our eyes were bigger than our stomach. Each soft corn tortilla taco was loaded with the selected meat and accompanied toppings. Each one was very delicious with generous amounts of chicken, shrimp, and steak with just the right amount of spice. After 3 of them I was stuffed! For dessert, we tried the stuffed Churros which were lightly coated with cinnamon and came with 2 dipping sauces of chocolate and creamy donut glaze. So good! Overall, we had a great experience at Contento.Nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner. The Lucha Libre pictures and wall paper in the men's bathroom were very cool!

We chose to sit at the bar and Kevin did a great job taking care of us. A quick drink and small plate dinner and the evening was perfect. So, lesson to learn: make a reservation if you want a table. First time coming here since the big remodel. We were celebrating our friend's birthday and made a…read morereservation for Sunday brunch. I was expecting a big brunch crowd, so I was surprised that there weren't many cars in the parking lot or many customers inside. Not sure if this is typical. Food: Several of us had coffee. When I asked the server if I could get a latte, he enthusiastically said yes and offered to get me a mocha with some latte art. Not exactly coffee shop quality, but I appreciated the effort. We started with the Spiced Pumpkin Bread, served with whipped maple butter. It was moist and flavorful, with great texture. The whipped maple butter was another special treat. Super yummy. Two of us got the French omelets, another got a regular omelet with cheese and mushrooms, and I got the Smoked Trout Plate with a side of bacon. Everyone loved their omelets. There wasn't much praise for the side of potatoes. I felt they were overcooked and a bit dry, and I'm not a fan of marjoram. The trout plate was very good. The spread was nicely seasoned and fresh-tasting, with a good presentation. I enjoyed the rye bread, which was nicely toasted and buttered. The side of bacon was delicious, just crispy enough, with a good portion of four slices. Since it was a birthday, they provided a complimentary slice of their special Butter Cake with a lit candle. We all shared it, and it was delicious. Lots of different flavors and textures. That would be something I would order for a regular dessert. Service: Maybe we got lucky because the restaurant wasn't very busy. We were well attended to the entire time. Three servers took care of us, and toward the end, when dessert was served, we ended up with a fourth. All of them were very good. The pacing of the meal was leisurely and relaxed. Everyone there appeared to be in good spirits and genuinely friendly. Atmosphere: It's a beautiful space. We sat with a view of the lake. Lots of big windows provided natural light. The tables are arranged with plenty of room between them. The dining room wasn't too crowded, and it was easy to have a quiet conversation. Everything is high quality and well cared for. Even the men's room is well designed, bright, and clean. It's a beautiful spot and a good choice for a special meal. Would definitely come back for lunch or dinner.

We were genuinely excited to try The Commodore, as we are big fans of several other Bartolotta…read morerestaurants. The setting was beautiful, and the food itself was very good. Unfortunately, the service and follow-up were disappointing. We were not initially offered a wine list, and when we asked about ordering wine for the table, our server assumed we wanted individual glasses. The menu also referenced a soup of the day and dessert of the day, but we had to specifically ask what they were rather than having them explained to us. The biggest issue occurred when we ordered four desserts for the table but were charged for seven. I replied to one of the restaurant's follow-up emails explaining our experience and requesting contact from a manager. I received a quick response saying my message had been passed along, but more than a week went by without hearing from anyone. I then called the restaurant directly, provided my information again, and was told a manager would contact me and address the overcharge. Another week has now passed, and I still have not been contacted or refunded. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, and I gave the restaurant multiple opportunities to resolve the issue privately. While we will likely continue visiting other Bartolotta restaurants, we probably will not return to The Commodore. It is unfortunate because the food was good and the setting was truly 10/10, but the lack of follow-through has overshadowed the experience.

Cute place and good menu with plenty of options…read more We stopped in Delafield for Father's day and it was great weather to sit out at their patio. We all ordered a mix of things but started with apps. The cheese curds were amazing. Didn't care much for the onion strings. It was a surprisingly cold day so opted for some French onion to start out. They use rye bread inside which wasn't my favorite. Probably won't order again. However, the chicken tenders and fries were great. Heard the salmon BLT was very good too. The shepherds pie had a lot of potatoes so not as much filling. The beers were cold though! Similar to Leffs, they don't have beer prices on their menu. Kind of hate that. Otherwise, the service was great, the restaurant ambiance and patio were great and most of the food was good.

I can only speak for the Mother's Day brunch; we went with 6 adults and a child, and for such a large buffet it flowed seamlessly and the food was constantly being replaced to keep it fresh. Large variety of food. Table service was fast and consistent and all of the servers had a positive attitude. Reasonable price per person and all-you-can-eat. Only complaint is that there is no changing table in the small 2-stall restroom. It seems like a small thing but it makes for needing to either lay our small child on a floor mat or going out to the car. Street parking only, but definitely manageble. My parents and their friends really enjoy coming here. Really looking forward to stopping by for lunch or dinner with a drink at the bar next time we're seeing them!

We were very surprised how long it's been open. I decided to get a flight. In the past, I've noticed when ordering a flight usually there's a dollar or two price difference (discount) when you order a flight, but at voodoo they charge you per beer on your flight. So there's no savings compared to other breweries that I've been to. We ordered three additional different beers at the table and all of them were amazing. We ordered two different cocktails at the table, and both of them were extremely strong and hard to drink. However, the presentation was great. As for the food between the four of us, we shared the pub pretzel, chicken, schnitzel, the meatball sub special, and the truffle quesadilla. All of us enjoyed our meals and would definitely come back. Two suggestions would be: 1. We sat at a four top table. When ordering the pub pretzel the pizza pan that they used to put the pretzel on took a lot of the table up. Very limited space. I would suggest getting a half sized plate and possibly hang the pretzel? Other breweries do this. If not the same thing with pizza, you can have a stand for it. You lose so much table space that we really had nowhere to put anything. 2. As far as the paper towels on the table. Those as well take up a lot of space. It's one thing when it's a larger table, but as for a four top, I would definitely try to think of a different option. We found ourselves constantly trying to re-organize and move water glasses, etc.
