First time at this establishment. I'm a newer beer drinker and I like to experience different breweries! There was four of us in our party and not one of us has been to this brewery. We were very surprised how long it's been open. I decided to get a flight. In the past, I've noticed when ordering a flight usually there's a dollar or two price difference (discount) when you order a flight, but at voodoo they charge you per beer on your flight. So there's no savings compared to other breweries that I've been to. We ordered three additional different beers at the table and all of them were amazing. We ordered two different cocktails at the table, and both of them were extremely strong and hard to drink. However, the presentation was great. As for the food between the four of us, we shared the pub pretzel, chicken, schnitzel, the meatball sub special, and the truffle quesadilla. All of us enjoyed our meals and would definitely come back. Two suggestions would be: 1. We sat at a four top table. When ordering the pub pretzel the pizza pan that they used to put the pretzel on took a lot of the table up. Very limited space. I would suggest getting a half sized plate and possibly hang the pretzel? Other breweries do this. If not the same thing with pizza, you can have a stand for it. You lose so much table space that we really had nowhere to put anything. 2. As far as the paper towels on the table. Those as well take up a lot of space. It's one thing when it's a larger table, but as for a four top, I would definitely try to think of a different option. We found ourselves constantly trying to re-organize and move water glasses, etc. read more

THE WOMEN's RESTROOM. Built up gunk all around. It's not the patron's it's the cleaning crew. Visited Sun May 17th. The floors, the sinks, etc. What the heck was going on with the walls and doors on the metal stalls? All of them were 100% covered in milky looking streaks. Maybe wrong cleaning product applied with sweeping hand strokes? All of these things did not happen overnight. What does the manager or staff think when they do a standard pre-check before opening the doors in the morning and throughout the day? It seems they put some great effort when they first installed the bathroom and then forgot about it. I'm not a fussy person. But this was ridiculous. Ironically, after going to our local Home Depot for over 20 years, this week I needed to use the restroom. It was immaculate and very well designed to keep clean. They sell tools. A restaurant should have high standards. read more

Great selection of beers including ones they brew themselves. I had the pickle pizza which was very tasty and filling. Service from my bartender / server was exceptional. Bar and establishment has good wifi and very comfortable. Great place, would definitely recommend. read more

Stopped in For lunch about 1:30pm and were seated immediately by the bartender. He got our drink order to us, the. Took our lunch order. We had their signature hazy IPA which was full bodied very hazy, with a slightly earthy taste, that was delicious. I had the Mac & Cheese with pulled pork which was very good.(could go a little lighter on the BBQ and heavier on the cheese.) My wife had the chicken harvest sandwich with pear and a side of truffle fries. She loved it. We also had an order of spinach and artichoke egg rolls that were excellent; thin and crispy wrap with lots of rich filling. Great fun weird decor and artwork. Excellent portions. read more

Stopped in with my son on a cold and rainy Tuesday as he was home from school. I have been wanting to try VB since they opened so we decided to stop in for an early lunch. We were one of 3 tables seated. The bartender/server seated us immediately and took our orders right away. My sone wanted the sirloin sandwich, but after ordering we were informed they were out of steak ‍ Seemed like a random item to have 86'd early in the day! He ordered the spare rib Mac & cheese special instead. I ordered the pickle pizza and a Hefeweizen beer. Both our entrees were delicious and delivered promptly. The beer was very good as well. It looks like they have lots of seating outside during nicer weather. Would be fun to stop by and throw some bags there next summer. We'll be back! read more

I have always had a soft spot for the quaint, storybook look of the Delafield downtown. Seen this brewery, and i had to give her a try. We tried a flight of an array of brews. I was hungry (natural big back) so we tried the cheese curds. Curds were from Clock Shadow Creamery (IYKYK) so that was a slam dunk order. They were delicious of course!! Hot and gooey, and cheese pull was valid. The beers were OK IMO. The surprise was the Lacto-Kooler beer. Definitely a gooder!!! The IPA's were ok, but I am picky about my beers. I am a German beer honk, so I resorted to an Erdinger Octobie for my full brew. Eliot was our server and he was very cordial and friendly. He was wearing a cool Led Zeppelin shirt and the vibe there is a chill type, relaxed vibe. It's a nice place to visit and support the local brewery. The food coming out looked good, but I can only speak on the curds. I suggest everyone check them out and get their own opinion. Enjoy the story book view pulling in to Delafield. :P read more

Worst place in town. Owner is extremely rude. The voodoo beer is very overpriced and mediocre at best. Food all tastes like dirty fryer oil.

Happy to have discovered this brewery open on July 4. Best craft light beer! (Called Empty Calories but there's full taste)! Other beers our party tried were the kolsch and Hazy IPA. You do have to scan to access the beer descriptions. Outdoor and indoor seating. We chose indoors to watch sports on the large TV. Great service by bar staff and our server. Love that you could do taste beers for $3. Full glasses varied in price from $7-$9. I would sure return for the beers alone but the food is just as fantastic! The southwest bowl was amazing. Black beans, corn, greens, garlic aioli. I'm glad our server asked if I wanted any protein (steak or chicken) because the grilled chicken was perfection- a little charred and yet super juicy. The figalicious pizza was delicious- the crust was the perfect combo of crispy and chewy; the figs were fresh and the drizzle was a honey sriracha. Plenty to share or take home. Also consumed was a fried chicken sandwich. Chicken tenders on a bun. Served with chips or fries. The fries were the least impressive part of our food- there wasn't much seasoning and salt. Salt and pepper remedied this. This brewery is in a brand new timber-built building with beautiful wood. A brunch place is right next to Voodoo so there are food options for 5'o'clock drinking somewhere. read more

We were disappointed in our experience at Voodoo Brewing. I was excited for a brewery to be added to the downtown Delafield area - complete with a spacious/trendy inside and ample outdoor seating. They have multiple sizes for on-tap beers which is a great option and some interesting flavors to choose from. Our beers were good, but the service was unbelievably slow. From when we arrived all the way to getting the check it was a really delayed service. Our food took a super long time to come out (and it was a nice gesture for Voodoo to comp our beers due to the delay), but even once it came out one of the meals wasn't warm. The food itself wasn't good and didn't come out as ordered. I was also really disappointed in the flavor of the aiolis and the overall quality of the sandwich. We would maybe come back just for drinks if we have a while to sit around, but I wouldn't recommend getting food from here unfortunately. read more

Very nice place for beer. The food was typical Bar Food, but it was sub-par. Fry's were cold, sandwiches were ok, but cause indigestion that night for me (usually not an issue for me) but my wife had no issue. On positive side, the chips were very good, I wish I would not have paid more for cold fries. read more

My wife and I went with our daughter on a Friday. We waited for less than 5 minutes for a table, which was no issue. Once sat down, we waited for awhile and observed only one server that even came by our area but she ignored us. We noticed there was a QR code plaque at the table but when we scanned it, it said they had online ordering disabled and to see our server to order. All in all we waited almost 30 minutes and were never seen by a server, so we just walked out. read more

Food quality is inconsistent. Our last time there my food came out visibly burnt and yet it was still served. In fact the wait staff admitted that the cooks said to "serve it anyways." I hope the quality improves, and if it does I will update this review. However, I'm not sure how quickly I'll return after this experience with so many other great options nearby. read more

The atmosphere is nice and the beers are decent. Service was friendly. But! The food is just bad. The truffle fries were dripping in grease from the fryer and there were other fryer companions mixed in like a piece of pickle and something breaded. My wife ordered a margarita that was 80% ice cubes (the waitress brought another free of charge). Her southwest egg rolls were a cheesy disaster. We'd probably stop in for a beer in the future but we're staying away from the food. read more

You were addressed immediately as you walked up to the bar to let you know that you have been noticed and he'll be right with you,which was a big plus ! Along with some of the other reviews, we have stopped in a couple of times, both times sitting at the bar. The bartenders were so busy talking to 1 or 2 people that were sitting there as well, that we never even got a hello. The first time we waited awhile and then ordered drinks and an app. After that, it took a long time to get served again. The 2nd time we waited awhile and as we were leaving, got acknowledged. Stopped in midday and the place was almost empty. Nice space but no character. Beers were okay but overpriced. $8-$10 for 12 ounces. Give me a break. Allowed us to taste a couple beers, but gave us paper dixie type cups. That's a new one and really lame. No beer tastes good out of a paper cup. Never had a craft brewery do that. Gal behind the bar had zero personality and seemed annoyed when we had to interrupt her to order food. Pulled pork nachos were rather disappointing. Mushy cold pork, cold beer cheese glopped on that was pretty disgusting. Chips were good but that was about it. For $16 it just didn't impress. Would not take a chance on other food based on this. Too bad. We love craft breweries. It's a chain and it shows. Only open for 6 months and they clearly don't care about repeat customers or delivering a good product and experience. Considering the market, really dumb business strategy. Cannot recommend. read more

Thought I would give the establishment a bit of time to work out kinks prior to my first visit. We sat outside and were greeted by our server right away who quickly brought out menus. Off to a good start I thought!!! I did have to scan the QR since the menu did not have the beer selections on it. We ordered our beverages and some buffalo chicken egg rolls to start. The bartender came out with beverages and the cook with the egg rolls while we looked over both paper menu and the Toast QR menu. I got a bit confused as there were several conflicts between the two. I went to eat my egg roll and noticed no plates, silverware or napkins. Waitress walked by and I asked for the essential items. Ten minutes later she stopped by to see how our food was and if we would like to order anything else for lunch. I asked about plates and napkins and she appeared confused (she had only 3 tables to wait on). I shrugged it off as a high school waitress. We ordered lunch - once again brought out by cook or manager. Again I had to request silverware. Food was ho hum at best. My pulled pork Mac and cheese lacked all true bbq pulled pork flavor and my wife's Brussels sprout Caesar salad was dry as a bone. We ate less than 30% and boxed the rest to go - figured I'd box it up and rework, season for dinner while I'd redress the salad to make edible. I'd honestly say it was the worst attempt at a Brussels Caesar I've seen. Normally I'd have a conversation with the server but it was shift change and she left. Sum it up - good buffalo chicken egg rolls - my IPA - fair at best - service - really lacking and Mac/ Salad - not good. I was really hoping this place would be average or better but to those who have invested a ton of money in a marquee downtown location I'm afraid if you don't so something quickly your investment will wither away. BTW - adding insult to injury they have set up a 3% CC fee!!!! Hello - why would you piss off your guests with this. If you can't afford Toast or your Toast salesperson tells you everyone doors this you're being led wrong. Even if everything were perfect I wouldn't be happy about your junk fee. Shop elsewhere in Delafield and tell me who else is making their customers pay fees??? Not sure how you justify it.
