Really yummy brunch place in the Falls area. The menu is so comprehensive! There's American, Italian, and Greek options on the menu, savory and sweet options. Just pages and pages of dishes to choose from, it took like 15 minutes for us to decide what we wanted to eat. I went with the Italian skillet option which had Italian sausage and I got a pancake as a sub instead of toast (this cost an extra $2). I also ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice. Both ended up being about $26 with tax and tip, which is pretty reasonable for how much food there was. Service was friendly and efficient. Our waitress gave us some entree recommendations and came by pretty frequently to refill our coffee. Highly recommend giving this place a visit if you're in the area. I loved that the entrance had a closet for you to hang your jackets, because the booth was a little small to also have your bags and coats. read more

The ambiance is just like a diner, kinda homey. The menu maybe a few dollars more than a local spot down the road, but you are paying for quality and service. Although busy on a Sunday, I was able to be seated with a friend in about 5 minutes! I ordered the "power morning," with a side of multi-grain toast, red potatoes, and a generously sized mimosa for good measure. The food came out in good timing for the amount of people filled in the cafe, and the presentation was nothing short of insta/yelp worthy to post! It's a relaxed cafe with a family friendly ambiance to boot. They have some items available for the kiddos and an abundance of delicious options to choose from for us adults, whether in the mood for breakfast/brunch, or something for lunch/dessert. I had to start work an hour earlier than usual, which meant trying to find a breakfast place open at or by 6am to make it to work on time. Although I have quite a few breakfast places bookmarked, not too many fit the bill of being open that early. Luckily, Cafe Agora isn't far from where I live and is one of only a couple that worked timing wise. Minutes after they opened I ordered the Agora Breakfast Wrap (bacon, egg, cheese, and spinach) without the onion and tomato and got fresh fruit for my side. The fruit was fine. Good size container and all of it was chilled. The pineapple and grapes were the best part. Either the cantaloupe and honeydew aren't in season or somebody didn't pick the most flavorful ones, but they still had some flavor. Not a bad option if you're looking for a healthier side compared to hash browns. When I open the container with the burrito I was surprised to see a tomato tortilla. The menu doesn't list that and usually places will highlight it if they have special flavor tortillas. Unexpected, but not unwelcome. The burrito was a tale of two halves. The first half didn't have much bacon and the bits I did find were more fatty than meaty. The second half, however, had much more bacon in it and they were meaty chunks. Not sure why there was such a discrepancy, but I'm glad the second half was able to redeem the first half. If I could give ratings with a half star, the food by itself would be a 3.5. The fact that they're open at 6am pushes the overall rating to a 4. In a post pandemic world where restaurants have cut back hours and are struggling to find staff for when they are open, I appreciate the ones that still manage to be open for the early birds. read more

I think the people are friendly and efficient, but I don't find the cost or the food to be great....I had bacon that was like shoe leather, it was remade and still tasted bad, of a poor quality, nothing like the bacon I had ever had before at any restaurant. This was our second time at Cafe Agora for brunch; the food is consistently good (nothing fancy but still tasty) & the servers are kind. It was pretty busy today but our wait was still only around 10 minutes. Our server was attentive & the coffee was always refilled. I had the Forza Mozza Benedict: Brioche roll, tomato, spinach, fresh mozzarella, hollandaise sauce. I thought the brioche roll was an interesting choice but it was fluffy & added a nice sweetness. The hollandaise was good, well balanced, & there was a healthy portion. We found Agora by accident and it was a great accident. We walked in on a Saturday morning Define the restaurant pleasantly busy but by no means overcrowded or loud. Customer service was immediate and friendly, the restaurant was absolutely clean. The menu was replete with too many great choices. Our group of four settled on the Iron Man omelette, 2+2+2, a cheese omelette with pancakes, and the Nutella banana French toast. We noticed how busy the staff was throughout the restaurant, and peculiarly we noticed that our server was the only one for our half of the restaurant. She was running from table to table swiftly yet attentive and friendly to all. She had no busser or other helper. We were impressed, felt bad for her and were surprised at the restaurant didn't have someone else in that dining room. At one point, the owner of the restaurant came over just to greet us and she was absolutely charming and lovely, graceful and caring. She instantly won us over. Our meals arrived and we knew we would leave pull and happy. Everything looked fantastic, although the only really colorful and exciting looking plate was the Nutella banana French toast which came with fresh cut strawberries, pecans and fresh whipped cream. We also noticed that the syrup served was quite warm and a high-quality service, and that was a treat. The boost of it all, of course, was that each meal tasted fresh and carefully made, and quite good. The restaurant makes efforts to use organic products and we were appreciative of that. My daughter and I and my three little grandchildren had lunch here today. The food was very good, the restaurant was clean, but the staff - wow!!! Very welcoming, answered all out questions, and our server was especially kind to the kids. But what really stood out about the staff was their immediate response, concern, and over-the-top positive reactions when the youngest child, almost 3, got sick (not from the food - he hadn't eaten anything, likely because his tummy was hurting) all over the floor, chair, and an empty plate. My daughter tried to begin to clean things up, but the server wouldn't allow her to, and an incredibly kind older teen boy came and cleaned up what the server couldn't, telling us not to feel badly. I'm only sorry I was a bit rattled and didn't get the names of these wonderful staffers - they are to be commended for their genuinely concerned and caring reactions. Kudos to all!! (And the little guy felt much better later and enjoyed every bite of his French toast!) We will definitely be returning - but with no repeat performance! read more

Went to café this past Sunday, it was very busy. There were several people waiting for tables, it took 15 minutes to be seated. The menu is large with lots of options. Prices are on par with other places. We ordered two omelets and a Cuban sandwich. The portions were large, we all ended up taking half home. Our waitress was very attentive with coffee refills, however, It took a very long time for the food to come out of the kitchen. Also it was also served to us in pieces. Watching the kitchen counter, appears the kitchen is short staff or very unorganized. Wait staff stood in front of the counter waiting for orders for long intervals. We received our omelets but not the Cuban sandwich. By the time the sandwich came out 5 minutes later, our omelets had cooled. Then, the muffin and toast that went with the omelets was delivered another 5 minutes after the sandwich was delivered. The food and our waitress were ok. There are better places just down the road so I will not return. I also did not care for the tacky signs on the door about service charges and tipping with cash. read more

The waitress came over within 3 minutes of us being seated to get drink orders. Once we ordered our food, it didn't take long for the food to come out. I felt like our server was hard to find sometimes - like when we sat down and didn't have a drink order yet, they just kind of left instead of letting us look it over and say what we wanted. Overall just didn't feel like we were on their radar. A large group came in at the same time as we did/seated near us, and they got their food and drinks much quicker than we did. We were all happy with our food, especially portion size - a lot of food for the cost. However, my food would've been better with hot sauce and I was going to ask for it but didn't see the server to flag them down until I was over half way done with my food, which was a bit disappointing. Huge portions with lots of berries, mascarpone in the middle and whipped cream and chocolate drizzle on top - 5 stars all the way! I wish I'd taken a picture but forgot my phone in the car. I got the Reuben sandwich which would have been 5 stars, except the quality of the corned beef was poor. The grilled sandwich, cheese, kraut etc we're super tasty but meat was fatty, chewy and not tender. Kind of disappointing given how good the sandwich would have been if not for that. I am traveling in the area for the holidays and came to Cafe Agora with my boyfriend, who has come here for years. It was the most delicious breakfast I've ever had. I had the harvest skillet and the cinnamon roll french toast. my boyfriend had the cheese curd skillet and he loved it as well. the service was fast and friendly and they have a HUGE menu! it's one of those places where you know anything you get will be great. the menu is also very creative and unique. I had the opportunity to dine at this restaurant several weeks ago. While the food and service was good I will not be back. The owner was extremely rude and yelling at customers that obviously were celebrating a special occasion. He was very degrading and discriminating towards the women. Indicating he would only speak to the men. My heart goes out to all his female employees as if this is how he treats female customers in public I can't even imagine how he treats women in private. From what I hear and saw, he is running a scam for groups, taking a security deposit and then being rude, very unprofessional and uncooperative to try to get them to cancel since he has the money and if they don't cancel he still keeps the money. This place is too good. Every kind of American breakfast food you can imagine. Pulled ham eggs Benedict was phenomenal, fresh syrup on the waffles, classic biscuits and gravy were all great. Service was friendly and fast. It gets pretty busy but they kept up with the crowd well. The only criticism I have is that the apple juice was $6 for a glass, which is like what Disney would charge for the same. Just order water and the food will make up for it. I see all the mixed reviews but I was going to check them out. I don't get to this area very often so when I spotted them weeks ago I knew I would end up here. I will admit that I got there at 20 to 7 am and no one was in the place which was maybe a bad sign. The farmers Benedict is a biscuit half with a sausage patty, poached egg topped with sausage gravy. The baby red potatoes were cooked in a deep fryer so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside which was great. The poached egg was perfect with a nice runny yoke. The sausage patty was zesty and juicy, not those bland kind that I hate. The sausage gravy was better than average with crumbled sausage that you can taste. The biscuit was fresh and moist. See my pictures. The farmers Benedict was a nice change for breakfast and I enjoyed it because It all worked very well and was tasty. On my way out I noticed a sign saying home made soup for $1.99 and saw a large quart size container of clam chowder so even if it's from yesterday you can't beat that deal so I grabbed one to go. You can't buy a crapy can of chunky soup for $1.99 if you think about it. I'm amazed this place isn't more popular. Hubby and I had an early Sunday breakfast at 8:45am, and were seated immediately to a sparsely filled dining room. We were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress, who quickly brought coffees (Colectivo!) and the most delicious fresh squeezed OJ I've had since Cancun. The menu, let's just say, is insane. It's not crazy big, but it's the sort of menu where you want to taste everything on it. The choice was really hard...but I'm a sucker for a good eggs Benedict, and narrowed it down to this incredible tostada variation with beef barbacoa, fresh spinach, Oaxaca cheese, and eggs over easy on top. Wow. With the choice of potato (red or hash brown) or fruit, I opted for both. SO happy I did. The fresh berries and melon with strawberries was delightful! I expected the usual shitty oranges and grapes most places usually throw in, so I was pleasantly surprised. I ate every bit. I can't say the same for the Benedict and hash browns...this is for sure a two person breakfast. For $12, you can easily split a meal and save some money! The hardest part will be agreeing what to order. Next time, I want to try either the chicken and waffles (bacon infused waffle?! Sausage gravy?!) or the pecan banana and blueberry pancakes. Oh, and they have two bacon choices, too: peppered or apple. They really do brunch right, and it makes a great lunch stop too! They close at 3 and on Mondays, so plan accordingly.
