This has been our go-to Gyro place for years. The restaurant is always clean, the service always very fast, and the gyros served HUGE and stuffed with fresh ingredients. I always get the Gyro Supreme Sandwich, which comes with feta cheese, onions, tomatoes, cucumbers and sliced peperoncino. The gyro meat is always well seasoned, sliced perfectly and extremely tender. The generous amount of vegetables are served underneath the meat instead of on top, which helps keep them from falling out while you're eating. However, because of the sheer size of the sandwich, you're likely to lose a few. The feta cheese is served in large cubes instead of crumbled, and the tzatziki sauce is thick and rich, coming in a nice sized container. There is a reason Gyro Palace has been a part of Glendale for decades, and it's worth seeing why for yourself.

We ordered the #2. Chicken shish kabob. I learned today that kabob does not always come on a stick! But quite moist and mostly tender. Fries good too with a bit of the skin on. Served fast and got. Large serving size.

Still liking this spot! We got some takeout the other night. It's been a while since we've come here, just because we aren't eating out/takeouts as much during this covid era... But it feels like their gyros grew in size. Huge amounts of meat. We had 2 gyro sandwiches and though hubby ate all of his, I split mine into 3 meals. Also ordered a side of rice pilaf, but wasn't wowed. I'll just stick with the gyros from here. Greek Fries, were also nothing to boast. Just their regular fries for me, please. And maybe the curlies. Amid the newer franchise food places nearby (Panera, McD's, Noodles, Kopps, BWW), it's easy to dismiss this place. But their food is solid and I've always enjoyed their gyros. Remember to ask for their frequent customer stamp cards. It's also on the back of their takeout menu. Buy 10 and get one free.

We stopped here for lunch, car dining is the new thing now with take out only. This place is nice looking and relatively fresh looking with nice booths and tables. We had the gyro sandwich as it comes with onions and tomatoes. The gyro sandwich is piled with gyro meat. The meat was not too dry and not the greasy kind that was not cooked to a crisp and just right. The pita bread was the fresh thin kind so the meat shines. The sauce was good but it was so thin that it drips off the gyro :(. The gyro was generously topped with meat and you can't fold it over until you eat some of the meat first. Overall it's a good gyro but it's not my favorite gyro place and I would eat here again.

    Regular Gyro Sandwich

Absolutely wonderful Gyro sandwich! The regular size gyro is HUGE, with an overflowing amount of meat. Fries were steaming hot and crispy, and the tzatziki was awesome! Walked in, ordered at counter and food was out very quickly. The line after me came and went quickly too. Well done staff!!

Chicken schwarma wrap is the way to go. Service is quick and portions are large. Busy around noon so would recommend showing up later.

I order take out from here all the time, one of the few gyro spots that still provides a ton of food in each meal!

They need to change the name. To Can't Get Right. Third time going there. Every time my order was wrong. Three strikes and I'm out.

The cold station had a great variety of hummus and dips served with pita bread--my son loved it so much he ate thirteen pieces of pita! I'm usually not a big fan of raw oysters, but they looked so fresh that I decided to try them... and I couldn't stop eating them. They also had traditional Easter red eggs and egg salad, which was a nice touch. The hot food selection was very impressive as well, including freshly carved prime rib and ham, roasted lamb leg, and sausages. There were also breakfast favorites like French toast and scrambled eggs. Desserts were excellent too--cakes, fresh fruits, and yogurt rounded out the meal perfectly. The setting is just as lovely--the restaurant has an outdoor patio that would be especially enjoyable in the summer, with a great view of the city skyline. It's also a perfect spot for photos. On top of all that, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a perfect dining experience and a memorable Easter celebration.

We also ordered chicken souvlaki- a little chewy but seasoned nicely. Portion sizes were excellent.

The café has plenty of tables and a little bar area, and lots of Greek décor and videos to transport you to Greece. The servers were very attentive and pleasant. We ordered the Keftedes for an appetizer, they were so delicious! Well seasoned and the perfect crispy shell with soft pita bread. We also ordered the Zeus and the Lemon Baked Salmon. The Zeus was well seasoned and included lamb, pork, and beef in a pita. The Lemon Baked Salmon was a little to lemony for my taste but still good, I just wish I had something to cut the lemon flavor a little bit. Overall, the food and drinks were good, and would be back to try more. I did find the prices a little high for some items, including the drinks, some more worth it than others.

I couldn't stop thinking about the Grilled Octopus on the menu, so I ordered it, too, and asked chef to slice it for me. It was tender and served in olive oil with warm and soft pita. Sooooo good! A 6-top reservation came in while I was there. Yes, they accept reservations, which I believe you can book through their website. I've been coming here for years and seen different family members behind the counter or in the kitchen over the years, which adds to the charm of a small, family-owned business, and also shows I've aged. If you haven't been here, or haven't been here in a while, come check them out! a little more upscale in appearance with a casual vibe.
