I called several times to place a pickup order. There was no message or busy signal. I wasn't even certain I called the correct business. I decided just to go and place my order in person. Upon arrival I asked the gentleman at the window if there was a problem with their phone. He mumbled something and I asked him to repeat what was said. He rudely responded that they were busy and proceeded to say what do you want. I'm a long time customer but probably will never return. When leaving I mentioned to the guy that he should be friendlier to paying customers. He responded sarcastically, enjoy your food. This is one of my favorite joints in Milwaukee to get a nice full gyros sandwich I called in my order for my kid and I making it a gyros combo kind of night I like they have fruit punch for kids I'm never disappointed with my gyros meat thin, juicy and brings my tastebuds to life. Will Oakland gyros get dethroned today because I'm trying to dethrone them. Ok I have been looking at this place for a while now but the lack of good pictures and the small amount of reviews was not enticing to stop by but today I said WTF lets just go. First off this is a gyro/food stand with no dining area but you could stand and eat off the small shelf that goes the length of the street Windows, it's basically take out. This is a cheap eats kind of fast food stand when you look at all the prices. I noticed the gyros were being cranked out at a good pace so I saw I would get some fresh meat for this review. No it's not one of those power house meat coma gyros but it was not one of those anemic ones. First off it didn't look as impressive as Oaklands does. Before I slopped on all the cucumber sauce I sampled the meat and it was not dry but it lacked the depth of flavor because I thought it was tame but seasoned well, it lacked the gamey in your face lamb flavor for my taste and I love lamb. I hated the pita bread because it was tough and chewy and with the first bite I noticed that right away. The cucumber sauce was not as sharp as I like and mostly tasted liked creme cheese but it had a smooth, velvety whipped texture. Overall it's not the supper best but not the supper worst gyro and I will keep looking to topple Oakland gyros because I want definite proof that I feel Oakland gyros is the best in town. read more

Delicious gyros. Ordered two and got home, opened the bag, had 2 gyros and 2 containers of ketchup. No tzatziki sauce. LOL, don't normally have ketchup with my gyros. Like many restaurants the customer service has taken a hit lately. Hopefully they will bounce back. read more

Think I may have just found my new gyro stop! Added bonus, it's within walking distance of my house! The staff was very friendly and the service was great. I got the Gyro special with an extra pita because they load that thing up with meat. They also give you a good amount of tzatziki sauce. They do take credit. I would recommend checking this place out. read more

If you are looking for a good gyro this is a great little place to check out. It's take out only and the only thing I've ever eaten here has been the gyro dinner. It comes with a gyro, Greek salad, and fries or rice pilaf. If the rice is available I always go with that option, it's very good. And the Greek salad is to die for!!! I often wish I could get a bigger version of it with my dinner, however it's more than enough food when ordering the gyro dinner. I've been here several times over the years and have never had a bad hero. Give them a try! read more

I absolutely can't believe this place has never been reviewed. I was born and raised in Milwaukee, actually just a few minutes from where this place is located. Not sure when it opened, but I know I've been getting sandwiches from here since before I was in high school. Anyway, I live in Chicago now and I still haven't found the equivalent to the gyros at this place (and I KNOW Chicago has some good gyros). So the guy who owns this place (as well as the workers) are definitely not Greek--I believe they are Mexican--but the food is the bomb nonetheless. They pile so much meat on the gyros and the cucumber sauce is amazing. They put seasoning salt and something else on the fries (man, I could get satisfied off those) and the pitas are good as well. I haven't really ordered anything else from here, but they advertise "Chicago style" hotdogs, which my sister say are good. Anyway, if you eat here, you will not be disappointed! They've gone up a little in price over the years and my only complaint is that they don't take credit cards, but they still get 5 stars! read more

I had the gyro last night. Something is lacking, seasoning? This place used to be so damn good. Meat, disappointing. Its there but no crispiness, taste like it should spend a few minute on the grill. I have gone there several times including this week. I bought a tasty shiskebob dinner and was well pleased. I would like to see rice pilaf on their menu. The salad has the standard greek cheese. I'd like for that to be optional. One think that is a concern is that this is one of the highest trafficked areas in the city. It can be difficult to park and to get into traffic. My favorite gyros in Milwaukee. The gyros meat is tasty and the sauce is creamy and almost sour cream like. Fries are good with a seasoned salt topping. A few tomatoes (you know, to make it healthy) and usually about half an onion shredded on top. Ive been here many times and never stray from the gyros but many others I see in order other things. I would give a zero if I could. I had a question about a gyro order I placed and paid for. The male cashier on duty on May 1st 2016 was very rude. When I asked him why a service person was that rude he told me to leave if I did not like it. I got my money back and did just that. .Worst customer service experience in my life. read more
