Strawberry Harvest Salad, Chocolate Layer Cake, Lemonade

My girlfriends and I eat out about every 6 weeks and this has become our favorite restaurant! I love seeing a couple of the same workers every time (the first gal on the line that takes our order, I didn't catch her name, and John, who usually rings us out.) They are very friendly, and as I said, it's nice to see them month after month. The food is always fresh and I love getting the chocolate dipped strawberry! That was such a surprise the first time we visited and that coupled with all the great choices of food keep us coming back. And there has always been enough room for us to sit even though the parking lot is full when we pull in and the place is busy. The restaurant is clean and the bathrooms are clean, too. Also good music playing but it's also quiet enough to hear each other talk. We love this place and will keep coming back! Thank you for providing a great restaurant with fresh food choices - and the free strawberry!

Great place to have a bite. Pretty healthy and easy and delicious food. The people are nice the place felt clean and the music wasn't that loud. The food is freshly made and prepared in front of you.

What is left of my grilled cheese and half/half soup after I devoured it in the first few minutes!

My new go to soup, sandwich and salad plate. Went with my sister-in-law for lunch. Ordered at the counter. I got the grilled cheese sandwich with pesto and a half and half soup. Half cauliflower and half tomato. I was in heaven with both. I had devoured most of my meal before I took pictures because it looked so good and tasted even better. The grilled cheese with the pesto was over the top delicious and the soups were so rich and comforting and out of this world good. I also received a side of bread and a super special touch is the chocolate covered strawberry. I will be back again and again!! You order at the counter and the fill your order as you walk down the line. Everyone was friendly and the restaurant was nice, clean and bright!

I had the spicy pork bugolgi with purple rice, mandu, and kimchi. The food tasted great! Very authentic and I love how they do not cater to the average joe. They kept it very real! The pork was very flavorful, rice was sticky and soft. Kimchi was crunchy and fermented. I've had plenty of Korean food all over the country and for a quick eatery that I don't have to sit down and can easy call for pickup. The food and overall service is remarkable. 5 starts and a A+. There were several other small groups eating inside. Food: For lunch, I got the bulgogi, along with purple rice, mandu (dumplings), and mashed sweet potato salad. My wife got the honey garlic chicken, japchae, and sesame slaw. There were some really good parts and some that were disappointing and underwhelming. For starters, the hot (temperature) entrées weren't really hot. I would say everything was warm. It looked like they were keeping things fresh by only having a small amount in the warming trays, and maybe we got the last of it before another batch was made. Both of the main entrées had great flavor. The bulgogi was very tender, and the marinade flavors were delicious. The honey garlic chicken was also very good, but again suffered from only being warm. The mashed sweet potato salad was a nice surprise and was chilled nicely. The mandu (dumplings) were a bit bland and really needed a bit of soy sauce to add interest. Service: All of the folks who took care of us were very pleasant. They did a great job welcoming us as soon as we entered. We were unsure about some of the items, and they explained them clearly and gave us time to decide. You can order from a list of standard combinations or customize with a starch, protein, and sides. Easy peasy. Genuine smiles, and we felt appreciated. Atmosphere: The place is located in a small strip mall, with lots of natural light coming in through the large front windows. There are several tables and high-tops in the front, with additional tables toward the rear. It's easy to figure out where to go to order. The paper menus and menu board are easy to read, and there are placards that describe what you're looking at. If I came back, I would definitely get the bulgogi again and would just hope that it and the other items were served at a better temperature.

The place is relatively new at this location and it looks clean. You can't see it from 76th st because it's on the back of the strip mall. I would build a plate with 2 proteins which was steak, falafel, hummus, chopped salad, basmati rice, sumac onions, nafziki sauce, garlic sauce and a pita. OMG this is FLAVOR town. The basmati rice was cooked perfect. The steak was marinated with flavor. The hummus and tomato salad was chilled and a nice contrast to the warm items. The hummus was thick and on point. The falafel was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The garlic sauce was the bomb and made the whole plate tasty. The service was fast with fresh quality ingredients for a fast food Mediterranean restaurant and better than some sit down restaurants that I have been to. Therefore I can't speak to service or ambiance. I can say that we ordered four different iterations of their Chicago dog and we all enjoyed it. BF had the traditional jumbo dog with everything and liked it. My cousin had her jumbo without relish or onions and was happy as a clam. Mom enjoyed her jumbo dog without the relish and also was pleased. I had the veggie version with no green yuck relish and fried onions and it was really good. Who knew I liked that flavor combo? Also, kudos for offering a veggie dog option. That's a smart business choice. I also had onion rings and while I usually prefer battered rings, the crunchiness of these was undeniably excellent, even delivered, even from a location not super near to me. Nice! My mom and cousin enjoyed their chocolate malt, and I applaud that they offer malts and not just shakes, but we only got one of the two we ordered. That was a shame. While a tiny place, you're greeted with a wonderful smell as soon as you open the door, embracing your nose like a warm hug. Service was great! Staff was efficient and offered great suggestions, such as when I wanted the grilled cheese but I am not a fan of pepperjack and it was offered to add in some mozzarella instead of the pepperjack and it was not only a thoughtful suggestion, it was an amazing sandwich! I did a combo with the ginger carrot soup and it definitely had the ginger kick but was not too potent for me and I appreciated the suggestion from staff to try this one. Just a couple small quibbles that prevented Loup from getting five stars: - There were no croutons, crackers, or bread served with the soup. That is a must for me and something that can be easily corrected. - The M&M cookie--while quite large--was not great, especially for $4. It's my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he only had about a third of it before passing it on to me. I ended up having it at home with milk (which helped) but it was overall a disappointing and expensive dessert.
