Both seasons that I have seen were small but well-balanced with something to please most palates. We enjoyed the stuffed dates, the carrot curry soup, the salmon and the beef tenderloin. Following the advice of the friendly staff members, I opted for an order of "Drummies" (Dazed & Confused) to maximize my protein intake. I ended up eating it in the restaurant and thought the vegan drumsticks were delicious with the two homemade sauces provided (ranch and chili). This dish is pricier than most of the others ($15, compared to a more reasonable $4 for fries or $10 for vegan mozzarella sticks) but memorable. The place could do with a few tweaks in terms of décor/atmosphere but the friendly staff helped make it a nice experience. I'm also rating the Twisted Plants 4.5 out of 5 Green Stars for social and environmental impact, based on the following: * Everything on the menu - savory food and pastries - is vegan. * Most of the food packaging is compostable. * Staff members are happy to tell you what's in your food. The drummies that I ordered are from Lily's Vegan Pantry - made in Taiwan from soy and seasoning (no palm oil). * Cookies are from local vegan entrepreneur, Bunny's Bite. * It fills a useful niche of craveable vegan (elevated) fast food.
