Arrived just at opening. Ordered our item of choice and then extra food. The wait time was over 30 minutes for two burgers, cauliflower bites and a pizza. The cauliflower bites were good, but the pizza was the star of the show. The burgers, just not our first choice for a burger. Not bad though. The staff was nice. Helpful. The facility was clean. The decor is fun.

I'm a big fan of Twisted Plants and happy to have this location that's a bit more convenient for me than their other two. Twisted Plants serves up delicious fast casual eats. Truly, they serve up some of the best vegan burgers in the Milwaukee metro. More than that, I'd say they serve up some of the best dang burgers in town, vegan or no. I've tried pretty close to everything on the menu and it's all outstanding. From sides to mains to milkshakes--it's all great. You really can't go wrong with your order. The service is always kind at all of their locations and this one is no exception. Get to it!

Nice event. We arrived just as they were opening causing the wait time to be over 30 minutes. The pizza was amazing. Those flavors blended so well. We also tried two burgers. Not for us, but they were not bad. We asked for the food to go as the wait time was so long and also asked for the burgers to be cut in half. There is a small bar area for dining inside and a bit more for dining outside. The ambiance is pretty chill as well.

    SUPERBAD burger

My new favorite burger place. It's almost hard to believe these burgers are plant based and vegan. They have so much flavor and are so juicy. I'm so glad they opened a place in West Allis since I would usually just order when they had the food trailer out. I had the Superbad burger and it totally lived up to its description, Grilled Onions, Jalapeños, Chipotle Ranch,Plant Based Patty, Pepper Jack Cheese. Yum! The new place doesn't have a ton of seating inside but once it gets warm they have a big patio. The staff is super friendly and the service is quick.

Came here randomly one night from catching up with my friend. We wanted to try their desserts after dinner. She ordered their dirt cake shake and enjoyed it, but it wasn't her favorite. I ordered their ice cream, the cookies and cream version. They didn't really have options for toppings to add like caramel or hot fudge, it was a different type of syrup, so not much flexibility there. The menu is pretty much premade how it comes, but the names were fun. The ice cream looked good, but the flavor was unexpected. It tasted a little chalky, frozen, not as creamy or rich as regular ice cream. It had an aftertaste that reminded me of protein powder. This is probably due to it being vegan. Overall okay experience for us.

We went here because we had a coupon for free cauliflower bites. Service was friendly and it probably took 20 minutes to get our food, but it was fresh and made to order. My boyfriend and I got the Friday burger and up in smoke burger. I will say neither of us are vegetarians, so the burgers did taste different from a meat burger(which was expected). They were good and had lots of flavor but definitely different. The cauliflower bites were AMAZING! I would go back for those! I also thoroughly enjoyed their ranch! Couldn't get enough of it.

Twisted plants opening a new location yesterday in West allis and had such a great opening day turnout with music, pictures and free food! Great atmosphere and the tots were a large portion and crispy and fresh! Check it out!

See the two pcs of v chicken tenders

This was my first time at this location. I really wanted the vegan chicken sandwich, which they were out of. Employee said they could do 3 chicken tenders in place of a patty, agreed, but they only did two w a big gap in the center. I also got a vegan shake w almond milk base, but it's literally just almond milk & the flavoring of your "shake" choice, liquid 100%. There was a family in there with two toddlers before I arrived, the order took 30mins to make and the kids screamed the entire time in the small space make my eyes twitch. The employees ordered a pepperoni pizza which was odd given the "vegan" nuance of business. I should've just gone to Culver's for a veggie burger meal with fries for half the price and double the food. I ended up going afterwards to get fries. Won't be back. 2 chicken tenders on a bun & strawberry flavored almond milk isn't worth $29

I would absolutely recommend this restaurant for food, friendliness and service. A very positive experience for me as a vegan.

You can go with a traditional Smashburger, or choose the Duck Fat Burger, which isn't smashed and is cooked in duck fat. I've had both, and I think they're equally amazing. And, of course, you have to order a side of the double-fried French fries. Today's meal was excellent. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium, everything arrived hot, and it was packed with flavor on a lightly toasted bun. Paired with the crispy fries, it made for a terrific meal. The portions are generous, so I even had leftovers. The burger and fries reheated surprisingly well in the air fryer the next day. The service was personable and friendly, and the atmosphere is bright and comfortable, with plenty of room for small groups to enjoy a meal. Another excellent burger experience, and a place I'll gladly keep recommending.

The waitstaff will walk you through how that works your first time. We started with some of the taste & share plates - showing off WI cheese to the out of towners - and then a few people shared some gnocchi and beef tartare while a couple people got burgers. We had maybe 4 bites leftover, and no room for dessert, it was a personal victory. I'm sad I didn't get photos because I love the feel of each unique area that's here. The restaurant is bigger than you think because it's subdivided into smaller rooms. We had a group of 7 for a work event (which meant I kept my phone put away) and were in a cozy little nook in the back by ourselves, I'd never even noticed this little spot. What a fantastic time we had!

It's a great environment with a lot of good drink options. I always opt for the Parker rolls which are tasty but again expensive for the amount you get, I typically order the trout (which until coming here I didn't realize was essentially the same as salmon). It's very good and the potato pancake is a nice touch. Over my visits I've also enjoyed trying the short rib gnocchi, butter chicken, and brussels. They also have a small party room which I have attended an event in before which is always a nice touch. It's secluded and of course much quieter than their main dining area which can get pretty loud!

Their website has a popup on the home page saying it comes with fried haddock, potato pancakes, applesauce, and rye bread, but the popup doesn't list the price and it isn't available through the online ordering function. I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.

He took the time to explain dishes, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Every dish we ordered was outstanding. The deviled eggs were easily our favorite and are an absolute must-order. We also loved the flatbread with fiddleheads, which featured a delicious curry-inspired flavor that reminded us of an Indian dish. My husband couldn't stop talking about the bread pudding and said it was one of the best desserts he's had. Everything we tried was beautifully prepared and full of flavor. Our server, Adam, was quick and attentive. He was funny, suggested items for us to try, and was very tentative of our friend's food allergy. We started the night with a few drinks; #39 non-alcoholic Paloma, #129 non-alcoholic sbagiato, and #33 Sherry Pear-Y. All of which were absolutely amazing! Then we ordered the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs (comes with two pieces), Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushrooms, Cappelletti, Slow-braised Bison Cheek, Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish), and the Wood-fired Bavette Steak. Where do I begin? First off, everything was fantastic! Delicious, creative, and memorable. Some dishes even had us ordering seconds! First the Chili Crisp Deviled Eggs: so creamy! We ended up ordering another plate of them (four orders) because one wasn't enough for the four of us. The Crispy Thai-Style Oyster Mushroom: insanely seasoned! It was crispy and the kick of the Thai chili peppers, made it our tables favorite (we ordered another plate of this)! The bits of crunch rice mixed in was also a pleasant surprise. The bits of green beans and cucumber was a nice way to cool the kick of the spices. The Slow-braised Bison Cheek: It was very interesting. Very soft and when paired with the polenta cake, mozzarella, and carrot, it tasted amazing. Cha Ca La Vong (Catfish): Also very interesting. It tastes very similar to a Vietnamese catfish soup! The pineapple fish sauce paired amazing with the glass noodles. The only complaint I have about this dish, was that the glass noodles weren't fully cooked, so they were a bit hard. The Wood-fired Bavette Steak: My god, this was amazing! It was perfectly cooked, the dark chocolate bordelaise paired with the mushrooms and steak was incredible. Like I said, everything was amazing! Our table was blown away with the creativity and quality of the food. The service was amazing, everyone was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere was lovely and quirky. It was fun spotting all the duck decorations. Honestly, cannot rave enough about this place, I look forward to the next time I visit!
