Wow, this place has been on my list to try and it did not disappoint. The drinks, food, atmosphere and service were amazing. The savory crepes, specials and pancakes are a must. We lived the drinks so much we got one of their premade cocktails to go. We will be back. Tip: Make a reservation online to not wait long.

Very attentive waitress and amazing food and drinks. Had rolls, chicken meatball, Brussels and catfish schnitzel.

This place is a little cozy so a reservation is recommended. A group of 4 of us went for Saturday Brunch. We split a cinnamon roll and that was plenty for my group, but it was absolutely delicious. Everyone who works here is top notch, not just our server. The ingredients used are incredible, fresh and inventive. I had the crepe monsieur which was sooo good. It is rather large and our server asked if she could box it up for me. I LOVE that! Two of my friends had one of the three specials each. The descriptions/presentation were very interesting. There is a wine/beer shop which I didn't actually check out, but it looked neat!

Confit Rohan Duck Leg with polenta (one of their specials of the day on 5/22/2025)

The small company I work for wanted to celebrate our annual software release, so we met for a nicer dinner at Story Hill BKC. For my meal I went with the Confit Rohan Duck Leg, one of their specials of the day. In addition to our meals we got a few appetizers to share (the Milwaukee Beef Tartare, the Wisconsin Cheese Plate, and the Rosemary Brie Pull-Apart Bread.) I wasn't brave enough to try the beef tartare (medium rare is the least cooked I usually go), but those that did try it liked it. I liked the rosemary brie bread moreso than the cheese plate (again, I'm not adventurous enough for some of the funkier cheeses). The duck confit and polenta it came with were excellent. That's something I'd definitely order again if I'm lucky enough to be there when it's on special again. The biggest problem we had was the timing of our food coming out of the kitchen. There were only six of us in the party, so not a huge group, thus it shouldn't have been hard for all of our meals to come out sort of close together. Two people got their plates and waited almost five minutes before they began to pick at them. Minutes later two more got their plates. Again, a long wait ensued before the last two got theirs. The poor timing by the kitchen staff made for an awkward dining experience.

We were here for brunch. They offer just the brunch menu on weekends, FYI. (Wasn't able get order from regular menu for Saturday lunch.) The food was really good - the Bennie's are delish! They also accommodate special diets if needed. Service was prompt and friendly. Accurate orders and they allow for split checks. Ambience is quaint, super cute. There's a restaurant side and a bar side, and both are nice. They take reservations, which is a bonus on busy weekends. Would come back!

We had a reservation. Shortly after we arrived 2 tables opened up yet we were never seated until 20 minutes later. Hostess said that those table were for people with reservations, um hello!! Later she seated which was apparently her friend and co-worker at one of the table and it was clear he did NOT have a reservation as I over heard the conversation. Once we were finally seated, the waitress came pretty quick to take our drink order, however the drinks arrived 15 minutes later. I ordered the berry crepes and my husband ordered the avocado toast. They were EXTREMELY penurious with the egg cream! The little they gave me was on the plate and not on the crepes. SO DRY!! I had to ask for some maple syrup for the crepes. My Husband opted to add two over easy eggs on his toast. He is so glad he did because he said with out them it would have been terribly dry. Portions were large and our server was okay. Not sure I will go back

Great late lunch at BKC! Never disappointed - great service, fantastic menu, and a laid back vibe. I had the summer panzanella, and my dining companions enjoyed a savory crepe and Italian bomber sandwich. Delicious!

Story Hill BKC was delicious! I had the brunch crepeurrito -basically a breakfast burrito with a crepe instead of tortilla. I wasn't a fan of the sauce but the burrito itself was delicious!! Plentiful portion, unique offerings, and good service. Wasn't asked about a coffee refill, hoping that was an oversight. But the food and service otherwise was great! I would definitely stop in again!

This place has been on my list for years, as many friends in the area have recommended it. I was able to grab brunch here with friends and it was fantastic. They had seasonal cocktails, mocktails, and traditional drinks in all varieties. We got placed at a high top in their bottle shop area which is dangerous when there are so many great options. They provide lots of great goodies that you can purchase and take home, including the N/A and alcoholic batched versions of some of their signature cocktails. I grabbed their frittata and it was delicious. Potatoes, eggs, bacon and so fresh. I would absolutely go back and would love to try dinner in the future!

Been here several times before, but it has been a while (Milwaukee has so many great restaurants). Has a 6:00pm reservation on a Thursday night and got right in. Got greeted right away, and served waters. The drinks menu has plenty to choose from, and a nice selection mocktails. The menu is always inventive with plenty of choices. We like to try different/interesting entrees for sharing. We got; Roasted Delicata Squash, Butter Chicken Thighs, Roasted Agnoloni, Puttanesca Pork Tenderloin, and a Rush Creek Reserve Cheese Plate (a special). We loved "most" everything, especially the Butter Chicken, and Tenderloin. To be honest the Rush Creek Cheese plate was a little underwhelming. Service the entire evening was terrific. Friendly, attentive, with thorough understanding of all the entrees. We saved a little room for dessert and split some Chiffon Cake, Warm Cherry Pie, and Pound Cake. I nice finish to an excellent meal. The dining room can get noisy, and make it hard to hear at time. We will definitely keep BKC on our list of go to places.

I have been here twice now and only for brunch. I don't get to Story Hill often but this is a great spot. The atmosphere is both fun and sophisticated. And the food is both delicious and inventive. The restaurant has been busy both times I've visited but I was able to get a seat at the bar. They have Valentine coffee. Service is always attentive and nice. I have had the shakshuka on my first visit. There are lots of variations on this dish out there. I liked Story Hill BKC's with its sumac mayo and smoked lentils. The naan bread is perfect for capturing the perfect bite. More recently I had the spinach and mushroom waffle. I almost overlooked it on the menu but I'm glad I tried it. It's a savory waffle with poached eggs, feta, shallot marmalade, drizzled with a little truffle oil and accompanied by broccolini and a small salad. The dish had a nice balance of light and heavy elements. There is a nice selection of desserts and bakery items. I had the day's coffee cake--triple chocolate. I tried to take small bites and enjoy it with my coffee. The menu seems to change from time to time and there were a few specials available. The people sitting next to me said that they'd never had anything bad there. This is definitely on the rotation when I'm in the area.

Story Hill is one of the best brunch places I've ever been to based on their food alone. They have a rotating special brunch menu which always has the most delicious options and then they have their standard menu as well. They have select craft cocktails and delicious bloody marys! I love that the have a cocktail flight which I think is unique. They also have a bottle shop next to their table section that includes wine and a selection of spirits. Have not tried dinner here yet but would love to try it out!

Grabbed a yummy Brunch before a Brewers game. Fast and kind service, and the food is extra yum. May have stayed for a second drink after eating- Aperol spritz, anyone??

The service was attentive and polite. The cocktails are fantastic and flavorful, including their N/A offerings. The menu is basically just choosing how much cheese and charcuterie you desire. There aren't many choices for variation because the offerings change depending what is curated that week. The prices might be a bit high for what is served, but the quality of every ingredient is superb. The two of us were satiated with the largest board ($40) and an extra order of toasts.
