    Breakfast Burrito

Delicious Bloody Mary and breakfast burrito! We showed up at noon on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, but got a table within 5 minutes. The food did take awhile to come out, but there was a big group of people who got there shortly before us, so I'm assuming that's why it took so long. The server didn't check in on us while we waited for food so we had empty drinks for a pretty long time.

This is such a cute place to get brunch. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back! Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and if you're vegan, you'll find a lot of options

This was a wonderful experience! The food was phenomenal, service excellent, and decorations brought everything full circle. This restaurant gives very ma and pa shop and I am happy to say that I have eaten here! I'm not from the area but when I come back to town, I will be back to try a new dish! As an FYI they do accept Apple Pay!

Met some dear friends here for breakfast this morning. First time and won't be the last time. Our server was amazing, had good suggestions to try from the menu. Loved the decor as well, cute diner! Tried a vanilla cap for the drink and the vegan breakfast burrito.

Came back to get another vegan reuben because I loved it so much last time - was way too salty this time... still love the atmosphere here but food can sometimes be hit or miss.

For my first time at Wonderland Diner, I had a pretty good experience. It would be more like 3.5 stars, but that's not an option, so I'll round up. Our server seemed less than enthused to be waiting on us, but it didn't hamper the experience too much. For a Friday evening, I was surprised to see it rather empty. Nonetheless, the decor was cozy yet eclectic and the playlist was relaxing. For beverages, my dining companion ordered a Diet Coke -- not much to comment on there. I went with an iced tea, but something was off about it. It tasted almost dirty in a way that's hard to explain. No amount of lemon helped, and I couldn't stomach more than a couple sips. I'd skip it, if I were you. My dining companion opted for an order of six wings with the Creole Dry Rub and Buttermilk Aioli, along with a basket of fries. The wings were fall-off-the-bone tender and the rub was flavorful. The French fries were a little bland, but nothing some table salt couldn't fix. I went with the Tuscan Chicken Mac and was blown away. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the spinach and cherry tomatoes added some color and texture, and the mac n cheese itself was delightfully gooey and creamy. The portion size is massive and I took home about half of it. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Our bill came out to a little over $50, including tip. Seems maybe a tad pricey, but you'll be finding similar prices at any casual sit-down restaurant these days. I plan on making another stop to Wonderland Diner in the future -- maybe brunch?

Overall, our experience at wonderland was positive. We arrived early for dinner on a Friday night to enjoy their Friday night fish fry. The catch of the Day was bluegill, but we opted to get the cod fry. The cod was perfectly crispy with a thin yet crunchy batter. The fish was cooked to perfection and flaky. Super impressed by the fish. The potato pancake was tasty, but quite thick- not typical to what I'm used to with a potato pancake, but nonetheless very tasty. It can with homemade applesauce which I wanted a jar of. Unfortunately, my least favorite part of the fish fry was the coleslaw. It was advertised as a poppy seed, pineapple coleslaw and I didn't really get any hint of pineapple. I felt that it was a little bland compared to the deliciousness of the other items. But I also tend to go with a creamier version of coleslaw. We ordered the chili and the clam chowder to come before the meal. I would consider the chili to be quite smokey, almost as if they used a smokey tomato. It was good, but very thick. The clam chowder was also very thick. I'm typically used to a thinner type of soup, but it was extremely flavorful. Overall, my experience was great. I would gladly go again and try a lot of the other. Really wonderful menu items listed that are unique and seem to be home-cooked! This place had a really unique decor inside. It was bright and friendly looking. Our server was also very attentive. I wouldn't say she went above and beyond explaining options or dishes, but we also didn't inquire about anything overly difficult.

The breakfast sandwich is sooo good-highly recommend adding on the sausage patty. The bloody was also great, and had really good fixings! Love the vibes there, and art bar being right next door/attached is great! Service was very quick and attentive. They recently got apple/google pay, which makes life easier.

We stopped in for breakfast after a round of golf at Lincoln Park. The breakfast sandwich here is amazing. The eggs in general are just really good. They are fluffy and flavorful. My homemade biscuit fell apart a bit while eating but it was delicious. I tacked on the pulled ham to the sandwich which was good. My boyfriend's breakfast included a couple sausage patties that we both loved. We definitely agreed we would be back. The space is bright and colorful, comfortable chairs. Service was good, no one hovering over you all the time. 10/10, Will come back.

This was my second time at Wonderland. Last time, I got the vegan (tofu) wings to complement the pizza at Art Bar, which was delicious, but was drawn back for the pot pie. My partner got the Friday fish fry, which had an awesome apple cabbage slaw, but the fish portion was small. I was a bit underwhelmed by the pot pie, which was too soupy and had an abnormal flavor. I would only go for specific items.

Best breakfast burrito in Milwaukee! This chill spot in Riverwest has a modern take a classic diner fare. The service was fast. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us some great descriptions of menu items.

he Foundation. Where we had the Rum Barrel (Brian), Lonely Virgin (Beth and I), Next will be Wonderland Milwaukee to eat. Wonderland looks to be a nice place. Food ordered, soup of the day Jambalaya, Meatloaf, Shortribs, and Chicken pot pie (2). Well the place is good, the food does not come out fast, so you know it's freshly made. Come back, hmmm. I just don't know. However, we do want to come and try the fried chicken on Saturday and Sunday. Our server was great !

I was standing there waiting for her, like IN HER WAY! Smiling and all! lol this was the worst restaurant I have ever been to. The whole vibe here is that of a toxic work environment, starting with the hostesses that have zero and I mean ZERO interest in your experience as a customer of this establishment. Frankly makes me feel sorry for the owners when they have staff like this working for them. I had to walk away from two drinks we ordered on the way out because of the second hostess's attitude with us!!! She was so rude to the lady that prepared our drinks! Than was rude to us? People just don't understand sometimes that they are in the wrong field and we as customers don't have to put up with their attitude wherever it may be coming from. It's a pass for me, sorry Xavier we won't be coming back! I ended up calling in an order to go, substituting wheat bread for the rye, and also added a piece of lemon ginger coffee cake. The lemon ginger coffee cake tasted fine, but man was it dry. Like Sahara Desert dry. Maybe this was an anomaly and their other baked goods are better, but I'd be hesitant to try them based on this coffee cake. Even though the website says the side is potato pancakes with applesauce, my fish fry came with fries. They ended up being the best part of the meal, which I certainly wasn't expecting. Still, I was disappointed cause I prefer potato pancakes and was given their inclusion as an expectation. The wheat bread itself was ok, but the butter was oddly unsalted. The fish, of which there was three pieces, was battered with a hint of beer, but like the butter for the bread there was no salt to speak of in the batter. As much as I didn't enjoy the unsalted butter for the bread, not having salt in the batter for the fish managed to be more unpleasant. Maybe Blue's Egg should just stick with serving breakfast items instead of adding something temporary that they clearly aren't pros at.

Hats off to their host for being friendly and even a little entertaining and I like that you can order coffee at the register area and drink it while you wait. Too bad you can't get a cocktail out there. The menu sounded great and we were ravenous so we were excited to order. By the time we were seated we were limited to about 40 minutes to get to a ticketed event, all in. I told that to our waitress so she could pace the meal accordingly. While I understand that she can't control the kitchen time, I don't think she showed any expediency or attention to my statement. Spoiler alert - we were late. Two of us ordered the biscuits to start with jam. I was happy to try them and they were good. My coffee based martini hit the spot, but it was spilled a little when it hit the table and our server didn't say anything or wipe it off. My mom liked her bloody Mary and it was decent. When our food came I was immediately disappointed by the appearance. My chilaquiles looked like they had sat under a heat lamp for ages - the egg was dried and over firm. My chips were spicy, but 100% soggy and nasty. My black beans were - meh. Not a good dish overall. My mom actually didn't find fault with her Honeypie Benedict. I tried the hollandaise and it was fine. My cousin did not enjoy her Hopple Popple skillet at all. (Potatoes, bacon, caramelized onion, mushroom, bell pepper, cheddar, two scrambled farm eggs) She found it difficult to find any egg, as it was apparently shrunk into tiny bits. The potatoes were like fries and it was overall bland. Not a winner. We certainly won't be back. The dishes don't live up to the interesting descriptions of them and the hype seems to be from an earlier, better time for this restaurant.
