    Breakfast Burrito

Delicious Bloody Mary and breakfast burrito! We showed up at noon on a Sunday. It was pretty busy, but got a table within 5 minutes. The food did take awhile to come out, but there was a big group of people who got there shortly before us, so I'm assuming that's why it took so long. The server didn't check in on us while we waited for food so we had empty drinks for a pretty long time.

This was a wonderful experience! The food was phenomenal, service excellent, and decorations brought everything full circle. This restaurant gives very ma and pa shop and I am happy to say that I have eaten here! I'm not from the area but when I come back to town, I will be back to try a new dish! As an FYI they do accept Apple Pay!

This is such a cute place to get brunch. The food was delicious and I would definitely come back! Highly recommend the chicken and waffles and if you're vegan, you'll find a lot of options

Met some dear friends here for breakfast this morning. First time and won't be the last time. Our server was amazing, had good suggestions to try from the menu. Loved the decor as well, cute diner! Tried a vanilla cap for the drink and the vegan breakfast burrito.

The breakfast sandwich is sooo good-highly recommend adding on the sausage patty. The bloody was also great, and had really good fixings! Love the vibes there, and art bar being right next door/attached is great! Service was very quick and attentive. They recently got apple/google pay, which makes life easier.

For my first time at Wonderland Diner, I had a pretty good experience. It would be more like 3.5 stars, but that's not an option, so I'll round up. Our server seemed less than enthused to be waiting on us, but it didn't hamper the experience too much. For a Friday evening, I was surprised to see it rather empty. Nonetheless, the decor was cozy yet eclectic and the playlist was relaxing. For beverages, my dining companion ordered a Diet Coke -- not much to comment on there. I went with an iced tea, but something was off about it. It tasted almost dirty in a way that's hard to explain. No amount of lemon helped, and I couldn't stomach more than a couple sips. I'd skip it, if I were you. My dining companion opted for an order of six wings with the Creole Dry Rub and Buttermilk Aioli, along with a basket of fries. The wings were fall-off-the-bone tender and the rub was flavorful. The French fries were a little bland, but nothing some table salt couldn't fix. I went with the Tuscan Chicken Mac and was blown away. The chicken was tender and well-seasoned, the spinach and cherry tomatoes added some color and texture, and the mac n cheese itself was delightfully gooey and creamy. The portion size is massive and I took home about half of it. I'd order it again in a heartbeat. Our bill came out to a little over $50, including tip. Seems maybe a tad pricey, but you'll be finding similar prices at any casual sit-down restaurant these days. I plan on making another stop to Wonderland Diner in the future -- maybe brunch?

This was my second time at Wonderland. Last time, I got the vegan (tofu) wings to complement the pizza at Art Bar, which was delicious, but was drawn back for the pot pie. My partner got the Friday fish fry, which had an awesome apple cabbage slaw, but the fish portion was small. I was a bit underwhelmed by the pot pie, which was too soupy and had an abnormal flavor. I would only go for specific items.

Good neighborhood diner attached to a good neighborhood bar that displays art from neighborhood artists.

We stopped in for breakfast after a round of golf at Lincoln Park. The breakfast sandwich here is amazing. The eggs in general are just really good. They are fluffy and flavorful. My homemade biscuit fell apart a bit while eating but it was delicious. I tacked on the pulled ham to the sandwich which was good. My boyfriend's breakfast included a couple sausage patties that we both loved. We definitely agreed we would be back. The space is bright and colorful, comfortable chairs. Service was good, no one hovering over you all the time. 10/10, Will come back.

Best breakfast burrito in Milwaukee! This chill spot in Riverwest has a modern take a classic diner fare. The service was fast. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. She gave us some great descriptions of menu items.

he Foundation. Where we had the Rum Barrel (Brian), Lonely Virgin (Beth and I), Next will be Wonderland Milwaukee to eat. Wonderland looks to be a nice place. Food ordered, soup of the day Jambalaya, Meatloaf, Shortribs, and Chicken pot pie (2). Well the place is good, the food does not come out fast, so you know it's freshly made. Come back, hmmm. I just don't know. However, we do want to come and try the fried chicken on Saturday and Sunday. Our server was great !

Made a last minute decision to visit Wonderland Diner and did not look what to expect. The food was delicious, portions were bigger than expected, and the people were kind. I had the shroom burger and my bf had the fish fry he was surprised at the amount of perch that came on the plate. It was quieter when we showed up but by the time we left they were buzzing with customers. Great spot for a nice meal where you won't be left hungry!

Big City Breakfast post chalula sauce addition. That cherry mint preserve on the French toast is unforgettably tremendous.

Great diner feel inside with the clanging plates, delicious aromas and sweet servers' smiles! The Bloody Mary is citrus-laced spicy ecstasy, and I wish I wouldn't have shared the divine breakfast bread with everyone. Next time we will each get our own! The eggs were perfectly to order and they let you butter your own toast, which I love! But in addition to traditional diner morning fare, there are awesome vegan and gluten free options like the beet tofu scramble and lentil sausage. We loved every bite!

The latter of which I am not a fan. Still, on my first visit, I decided to try the Thai Bowl. I ended up really enjoying the black rice. The roasted veggies were tender, and the thai basil pesto had a bit of spice to it, which paired wonderfully with the subtle sweetness of the curry. The portion size was perfect, satisfying me but not leaving me full. I also tried the Ginger Tepache, which was extremely refreshing and delicious. A wonderful alternative to Kombucha if that's not exactly your thing. The restaurant is bright and airy with bar, high top and table seating. Previous review stands (3/25/2022) This is another happy review. I'm happy to report that the burgers have improved significantly since my last review 4 years ago. Korean BBQThey toned down on the shredded cabbage and the sauce in the korean bbq burger. Everything balanced out much better than what I remember, and I could actually taste the kimchi inside this time. The meat was cooked to a nice medium, and travelled well in our to-go order. Soft Shell CrabThey put two whole deep fried soft shell crabs in one burger. Topped off with a lot of arugula, bacon and tomatoes. It was good, but not quite as balanced out as the Korean BBQ burger. I'm not quite sure what it is... Lacking some sauce?Overall, the place had some great burgers and I would definitely go back more often that I have recently. But there's a little bit missing still to give it a whopping 5 star review. Plus the buns were really bready... a little less dough would have been nice. And on the downside... the fries weren't awesome. They were ok. But felt more like baked fries than deep fried. In any case, I love improvements and having great joints in my neighborhood. A good friend of mine cooked at B&B for a while. As young, recent college grads, my wife and I regularly ate there. Along with Oriental Drugs, the Blue River Cafe, The Outpost and Century Hall, B&B was a favorite, comforting go-to spot. Although I couldn't visit very often during my 25 years on the west coast, I was so very happy to know that it was still here, and as wonderful as ever, when I returned to Wisconsin in 2008. How funny to think that this tremendous haven for those wanting to include at least some vegetarian foods in their diet occupied the spot once known for Frenchy's restaurant (the place famous/infamous for its bear and lion steaks)!
