Reminds me of McCalister's deli. But this place is hyped up too much. There was nothing spectacular here so I really don't now what the excitement about this place opening was all about. I had a 1/2 sandwich and soup meal. I had the ham & Swiss along with the broccoli cheddar soup. Both were good but nothing that would necessarily make me go out of my way to go back for. I went to get a breakfast sandwich at 10:15 a.m. The person behind the counter was friendly. I ordered my food and went to sit down. All the tables had food on them/not clean. Every single one. Sat at the cleanest table I could find. Went to the ladies bathroom. Dirty and trash was full. Noticed trash full by the drink dispenser. Got my food and the egg was cold in the center and only luke warm in the edges. Wound up going to get a box to take home to warm up. A manager was walking and didn't acknowledge me or offer to help. Someone in the back happened to walk by so I was able to get a box. The food bar was a mess and everything in the back was also dirty. I will not be back. read more

I see mixed reviews so I felt compelled to write my review. I have been there multiple times dine in and rapid pick up and knock on wood....never had a problem and I have never gotten anything that wasn't good. The turkey chili is amazing and I love the flat breads and sandwiches. We also use for patient orders and the manager Olivia has always been so helpful and responsive. Yes the prices are a bit higher than most quick food places however I feel the quality is much better than a typical fast food. read more

The food is good and I enjoy their coffee, but the service is awful. Even prior to COVID becoming a factor they were painfully slow, now it's even worse. Once you get stuck in their drive-thru there's no way to get out of the line, either, so unless you've got a full 20 minutes to devote to sitting there I don't recommend it. read more

I ordered the BBQ Chicken Flatbread, which came with very little chicken. When I brought it back to complain, the employee said flatbread sandwiches come with ONE ounce of protein, but added that regular sandwiches come with more...a whopping 1.75 ounces! He did not offer to take it back or try to address the fact that I was dissatisfied with the product. The food is good, but overpriced for what you get. My biggest complaint with this location is the rudeness of the staff. I have gone to the drive thru several times in the morning to buy bagels for my office. The staff is never what I would call friendly, but this last time ( and it will be my LAST time) after no greeting, waiting at the window for five minutes without being acknowledged and then after paying having the bags of bagels practically thrown at me, I had enough. It is better to go inside because you get to see the pastries and determine which one you'd like best. They also may have some items on sale like a loaf of Cinnamon and raisin bread. I enjoy getting my own loaf of bread and they will slice it for you. I will also recommend that you don't get rushed and step back to look at the menu because they have a lot of selection. The price of a loaf of bread is under $4 and than I can make my own perfect sandwich. I got a tuna sandwich but I really liked the bread best. I also liked a pecan braid pastry it was really good. A few months ago, I went to a Panera located at 70411 HWY-21 in Covington, LA. I moved to the area about a year ago from out of state and was happy to see a location with a drive through just down the road from my new home. I have frequented Panera in every state I have lived in; it has always been one of my favorite and quick go to options that is not terrible for you like other fast food. I was very disappointed that three times at that location I had a bad experience. The third time was the deal breaker and I will never go back even after being a customer for 15 years. Incident number 1, there was a man in the ladies restroom, not working there, the other restroom was not broken, and it wasn't a one stall bathroom. I told the manager and they seemed nonchalant about it as if my raising a question about it was the odd thing. What if this was some pervert? There are children and elderly frequently at Panera and I think it should have at least raised an eyebrow. Incident number 2, I went through the drive through and ordered a salad, got home started to eat it and noticed it had gorgonzola cheese on it which is not supposed to be on that salad and I happen to be allergic to it. I also noticed the chicken tasted off. I threw away my food, called the restaurant and spent my Friday night in the bathroom sick as heck with either an allergic reaction or food poisoning. The next day I went in and spoke with the manager she refunded my meal, apologized and advised the lady who took my order had been out on maternity leave and just returned to work so she must have gotten confused. I didn't return for months. Incident number 3, the final incident. On or around September of 2017, I went through the drive through and ordered a flatbread and soup combo. After waiting 20 minutes in line I get to the window and encounter a young lady whose name was Bailey (B.D) she looked at me prior to paying and stated they were out of flatbread and they hadn't made the sandwich yet so they would put it on ciabatta, I stated no if they were out I would just order a different sandwich. At this point Bailey does a head snap hair flick , lets out a big groan , rolls her eyes, and says "uh eh I guess" and gives me the "B" face. I don't think it's appropriate that after a customer waits in line for 20 minutes and they are out of something, which isn't the customer's fault that the customer gets nothing but trouble from the lazy millennial employee. The customer should be able to select something else of equal value without the bad attitude. I was rather shocked at the behavior to say the least. I told Bailey to just skip it I was good if she was going to behave like that at which point she yelled "fine whatever" and threw her hand up. I then go park my car and go inside to speak with the manager whose name is Jessica (J.W) and she offered to make me something free of charge but seemed very nonchalant about her employee's behavior. She then laughed and looked at me and stated "what can I say she is from the west bank you know how they are". I am not from the area and I do not know what that means but I have a feeling it wasn't appropriate and it's no excuse. When I mentioned that her employee gave me the "B" face, Jessica seemed to stop listening and started almost defending Bailey which was the final straw for me and I told her that I would just deal with the corporate office. I called the cooperate office who advised it is an individually owned franchise location but they would advise of the issue. I provided my contact information and two months later I have heard nothing. Point to the story: if you want to get the wrong food, food poisoning, or deal with creepy perverts in the restroom and whiny little girls with horrible attitude then this is the spot for you. If not, then thank goodness they opened a Starbucks next door now someone please open a Corner Bakery nearby! read more

I used to really enjoy taking a short drive over to Panera and ordering a grilled cheese. The grilled cheese used to be amazing and many other people agreed. Just recently I ordered my grilled cheese and to my surprise, it tasted completely different. Sure I like other things at Panera, but nothing quite as much as I loved that grilled cheese. Because it is the only place within about 40 miles where you can get a real bagel. Seriously. I know it's Louisiana, but this is a suburb of New Orleans--supposedly one of the great food cities. And they are good bagels. Not New York/New Jersey good, but better than most chains (I won't even include Dunkin Donuts, their bagels are like cardboard). I thought when this place opened, it would be a great addition. But I've been disappointed too many times. I thought the first time my order was incorrect, no problem, they were busy and I understood. But by the fourth , I'm done. One example. The supposed online quick order, is not useful. Of the two orders I placed there,one wasn't done until I finally asked about it. Online it stated ready in 15 minutes, I waited 20 before I went , again, I understand places are busy, but I didn't actually get my order until 40 minutes after I placed it. This is just one example of many. I could list them all but there's no point. There appears to be a ton of staff always there, but only one or two actually helping the customers. Very chaotic. They refuse to take an order over the phone and make you order online charging your credit card. So if you're driving you have to pull over and use your cell phone to order. When I picked up my order they said oh we were out of this item. I questioned did they refund my card they said no and acted surprised that I didn't want to pay them for the shorted item anyway. I spoke with the manger, Brandon Lear, and he said the no phone orders were just for that store. When I questioned being charged for an item I didn't receive he said oh I'll refund you. I didn't look at the refund and when I got home noticed he had refunded me less than half of what I had been charged. The operation is a total rip off. I'll never spend another penny there. read more
