Coffee Rani is one of my favorite lunch spots! I visit every time I'm in Mandeville. They have a large menu, mostly sandwiches/soups/salads. They also have a breakfast menu. Everything I've tried here has been amazing. The salads are always fresh. This visit I ordered the bacon apple and brie croissandwich and it was SO GOOD! Might be my new fave order here. I also LOVE their frozen lattani coffee. You order at the counter and food is brought to you. We had to wait about 20 minutes or so for our food, but definitely worth the wait. There's indoor and outdoor seating, the patio is great when the weather is good. Def will continue to come back! read more

I didn't have the greatest experience here for my first time. I came here on a Sunday morning during Labor Day weekend. We gave ourselves an hour and a half, enough time to eat and get to our next planned and scheduled event that day. So, we weren't in a rush. We get in the quickly moving line to order our food at the counter. I order a salmon bagel and the hubs ordered a meatball ciabatta. We sit down and I noticed it is a very busy place. It is a very large place and I noticed how clean everything was and how efficient all the workers were at getting the food out. One after the other, food was coming out like an assembly line and the food looked good, too. But the assembly line apparently stopped, no orders were coming out, and we waited about 20 or 25 minutes. At least we had our drinks because it is a counter service type establishment. We noticed stacks and stacks of 'to go' orders were being placed in the counter area. After nearly 35 or 40 minutes we get our food. Some guy had ordered a 'football teams' worth amount of food. So, although it was not the restaurant's fault, it was frustrating the timing that our order was f course put in right after the guy that ordered 20 dishes. I get my bagel to try to eat quickly, since now we are in a little bit of a rush. And the bagel couldn't have been more complicated to eat. I just wanted a complete lox bagel but it was a deconstructed bagel where I had to put the thing together. I would have enjoyed the meal a little better had my bagel been properly served, like for example, the way Flour Moon serves their bagels to customers. I don't know if we will be back because I rarely visit the Northshore, this was a special occasion. I guess if I do come back, I would like to try one or two of the desserts from the case. Nothing beats a coffee rani salad!!! This place has been a favorite of mine for years. I dream about the chicken pesto salad with the pasta in it. Also I love the homemade lemonade. It's not too sweet and so refreshing. You order at the counter and they bring it to your table. It's always busy, but usually pretty quick to find a space to sit down. Now this is a spot that deserves the spotlight! Around 7pm on a Saturday night a friend and I were in need of a bite to eat, that included a sweet treat! My friend called to confirm that they had a Lemon dessert. Brittney confirmed they had one slice left. She agreed to save it for us. Upon arrival, we asked for Brittney and let her know we called about the lemon dessert. She went and grabbed it for us. She had a note on it that read " Reserved for special VIP guest!" Brittney knows how to make a customer feel special! Now this was just the start of the amazing customer service! Brittney had an amazing personality. She was engaging and offered suggestions for meals. Not only did she offer suggestions/ she gave detailed descriptions of the items. I opted to try the mushroom burger exactly the way she suggested it. My friend ordered the pesto crusted chicken sandwich. For dessert we had the pistachio cake and the lemon leche. We ordered everything to go since they were about to close. However, the place is so cute and I. Look forward to returning and having a dine in experience. Now, let's get to the good part!!! I have been here 4 times for breakfast. Food: It's good. I have only ever gotten the eggs, bacon, grits, toast, coffee and tea. So, this review is only reflective of that food. The only point here is the grits lack flavor. I can make them better at home, but not a huge issue. All other food was fine. It could be better if the egg yolks were over easy runny, as they were a bit cooked through for over easy, but again that's just being specific. Coffee is great. Tea is wonderful. I appreciate real teas and they do use higher quality tea blends and leaves here for the sachets. Tea blend is pleasant and enjoyable. Menu placement and organization could be better as a visual, but not a complaint issue. Service is fine. Staff is fine. No issues. I will return here when in town in the mornings. I also recommend eating here to others. Nice and simple, comfortable, homey, welcoming atmosphere. read more

Oh. My. Goodness! This place. The food, the service, the cleanliness, everything was amazing. This is a order at the window and the food will be brought to you type place. They had fantastic daily specials which I'm always a sucker for. And they place tons of paper table liners on the table so you have a fresh and clean surface when you're seated. I ordered the Cra Cra daily special which was a salad with salmon, dried cranberries, goat cheese, almonds and an amazing homemade poppyseed dressing. It was out of this world! My burger was ordered medium, but it came out well-done. The chicken in the pasta and sandwich were a little on the dry side, but tasty enough to choke down. After visiting EWC located in the same mall, I stopped in for lunch at Coffee Rani's Mandeville location. This is one of the few places in town that actually serves a variety of craft salads and that was exactly what I needed. I ordered the Jamaican Jerk Salad and it was excellent. Although I didn't really taste the jerk seasoning come through, the dressing was the perfect balance of sweet and savory and complimented the variety of fruit, vegetables and proteins in the salad. While I came here for the salad, the soup specials caught my eye and I ordered a cup of their mushroom soup as well. The soup was similar to a bisque with creamy consistency and slight sherry sweetness? The cup was massive, so maybe next time I will have to just share this or order it alone. I paired it all with an iced tea. This location's food remained consistent, fresh and was served by friendly staff alongside friendly patrons. read more

I wanted to love this place but the moment you walk in it's very confusing on the process of "order at the counter" then be seated or how the process goes. I'm not from the area and wanted an iced matcha. I was informed they don't do matcha, which is wild in 2025. The coffee choices are very limited for a place with "coffee" in the name. Had the pleasure of stopping in to eat recently while in the area. Ordered the crawfish Monica with shrimp and it was well seasoned and delicious. I've heard their salads are also quite good. I was here for the first time last week. Ordered the Rani Tuna Poke Bowl and was blown away by the presentation and combination of flavors. So much so that I forgot to snap a picture. I will be back for sure to rectify that. The service was very efficient and the staff was friendly. Order and pay at the counter, get served at a table, first come, first serve. The ambiance of the restaurant seems very busy at all times, so the noise level is pretty high, but they do offer shaded outdoor seating to get away from that. The decor is simple and classy, mostly black and white, with exposed ductwork and conduit. read more
