I should give Panera Bread 3 stars, but when I was here a few weeks ago it was an almost-perfect experience (my mothers grilled cheese was not made with the correct cheese). This time neither of the grilled cheeses were made correctly... I'm not sure why their chefs are so keen on using American Cheese; does anyone prefer highly processed "cheese flavored" American cheese anymore? The featured summer time "Strawberry Salad" was made without blueberries because they were out. The Asian Chicken salad (mine) was perfection. The pieces of bread that accompanied our meals were stale! So we were rather disappointed this time and Panera truly needs to work on consistency.

Oof.... Not a good look for Panera.

The breakfast sandwich was perfect! I really enjoyed it. My coffee tastes fresh and not sitting around going stale. The seating needs lots of love. This isn't like Panera's quality. They need to replace the seats in their booths.

The best damn scones ever. 6 blueberry & 3 orange.

I love Panera Bread they have delicious healthy meals and some banging broccoli & cheese soup and I obsessed with them scones. The mini scones are like dollops of damn goodness. When I'm in Canton, I always come here so this my first check in many to come.

Burnt, over-baked French bread--not even good enough to toss into a strata.

After 7 months of strict self-quarantining, I decided to try curbside pickup at Panera. I ordered two loaves of French bread on the Panera app, paid, and provided a description of my car. When I pulled into the parking area, I used the app to announce my arrival. After 10 minutes of waiting, I wondered what was happening. I put on my mask, and went in. The area near the registers was dark and I was the only customer there. Two male employees saw me, but neither acknowledged me, or asked if I needed help. I looked on a shelf labelled "Rapid Pickup" for my order. Nothing. After 5 minutes or so, I called out and asked about my order. Since this was my first time ordering this way, I asked how curbside pickup worked. Apparently, I was to blame somehow, although I did everything the app asked me to do. The explanation I was given gave me no indication of what to do differently in the future to actually succeed in placing a curbside pickup order correctly, if indeed I did something wrong. The guy handed me two loaves of French bread. Since I am trying to avoid being in restaurants due to COVID-19, I was in a hurry to leave. I didn't think to check the condition of the bread, but when I got home I discovered Panera sold me two loaves of burnt, over-baked, stale bread. I ended up throwing it out. Never again.

Just your average Panera location. Comfortable and clean inside, staff are ok. Nothing to write home about. Food is good but extremely pricey. Portions tend to be on the smaller side, especially for the price. Service is usually pretty quick.

Delicious food. Friendly service. Warm fire. I like to get bagels and a blueberry muffin on Saturday. Wish it opened at 6:30 am on Saturday.

Northwest Soup And Sandwich Company - Great sandwiches! Amazing fresh chicken salad

Great sandwiches, great soup and even better customer service!…read more We ordered online-we customized our sandwiches (the only thing I would say is that their online system could use some love, it seems a little all over the place and the customization could be a little more in depth) But despite that, we ordered sandwiches and we both ordered the loaded potato soup. We debated on tasting it when we got there and then deciding to buy it (which is actually such a great idea) But we decided that we'd just go for it and ordered the soup too. The soup was phenomenal, so flavorful and warm, it was exactly what we needed on a snowy day. Our sandwiches contained everything we had ordered and they were beautifully made, not too messy but not lacking anything either. A footlong turkey, cheese, L,T, Bacon and Mayo was around $20. My husband's roast beef footlong with L,T, mayo, pickles, peppers, and provolone was a little over $22. A little pricey but like I said before-the sandwich wasn't lacking by any means. I think the best part was walking in and every single person working greets you so warmly. They seem so thrilled to do what they do every day and that alone makes me want to come back.

I heard about this place so grabbed a sandwich, it was $12.95 put with tax and tip was over $15.00…read more The sandwich was tasty but a little dry. I still split it with my son but he said it was small, again this is chicken breast breaded so we determine if to think it's a good value.

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

However, I felt let down by the service experience at this restaurant. After we ordered and the pho came, the table looked strangely empty to me. As someone who frequently eats pho; I realized it was because the waitress never brought the bean spouts, leaves, and lemon/lime slices to put into our broth. I asked if this restaurant serves it and she looked at me strangely and said it was already in the pho. I thought it was so odd, so I explained that when I usually go out for pho in my home state of Hawaii, usually there is a separate small dish brought to the table with all of these items to put into the broth. The waitress then asked if I wanted it and I said yes. About ten minutes later, the waitress brought out a plate and she said that in Avon, most people don't want the sprouts. I wasn't sure if this was because I look like most of the people from Avon (Caucasian), even though I am just visiting. If anything, couldn't she have at least asked if we would like it? We enjoyed our pho and were happy to eat it how we usually do and we ate all our extra bean sprouts. The waitress never came back to ask how was the pho or refill our water. I had to request a copy of my receipt because she did not print one out for me. When I was trying to fill out the receipt/tip, the waitress was trying to have a full on conversation with me asking about the financial burden of living in Hawaii... the timing of this sudden chattiness was not good for me. I was ready to get out of there. All in all, pho was great (thank you lady in the kitchen) but service could have been a lot better. Will probably not come back again. Sorry:(

It's located in the Old Avon Village plaza. There were plenty of parking. The interior was nice; it looked like it used to be a frozen yogurt spot. The hostess/waitress was nice. Unfortunately, there is no kids menu, but we were able to get a small bowl to share our noodles with our toddlers. The food came out slowly, considering we were only 1 out of 3 tables. We ordered pork and shrimp spring rolls as an appetizer; it was very good and fresh with the peanut butter sauce. For my meal, I ordered the Pho House Special; it's $20.95 and has rice noodles, medium rare beef, brisket, and meatballs. This bowl was huge! The flavor was good but the broth was very oily. I added more hoison, chili oil, and siracha for more flavor. We didn't have any sauces and napkins, so we had to flag down the waitress a couple of times. Also, they never refilled our waters. I noticed the prices were very high compared to other Vietnamese restaurants I've been to. With everything factored together, I gave them 3.5 stars total.

The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. They were great! Fina's Kitchen was a real gem, hidden among an industrial area and catering to the local businesses. It was a great find!

"My grandma she can make a soup With a little a this 'n that…read moreBut with grandma cookin no need to worry! Just a little a this 'n that" (Pete Seeger) My final review of 2022 will describe the worst customer service we encountered all year. We had an errand to run in Sturbridge and figured we'd include a lunch stop in town. The Yelp app brought us to Soup to Nuts. #1) I love soup and #2) it's located inside the Sturbridge Marketplace, so we figured we'd do some shopping and browsing too. When we approached Soup to Nuts we saw a sign that said they opened at 11:00. The front door had another sign that said they opened at 12:00. Since the door was locked, and it was about 11:30, we figured we'd check out the Sturbridge Flea Market and come back. At 12:02 their front door was unlocked, and the sign announcing the 12:00 opening was gone. As we entered the restaurant, we were "greeted" by four words spoken (or more accurately snarled) in a very gruff and rude manner - "we're not open yet". Tone of voice matters, and I will look you straight in the eye and put my hand on a stack of bibles and tell you his tone was beligerant and angry (to the point of aggressive). It was beyond rude. It was shocking. So we turned around, left and never came back. Happy New Year ya filthy animal.

I will say that on our first visit we thought the owner was initially a bit gruff as others had mentioned but we quickly realized that's not the case and he is an incredibly gracious host.
