My mom went with turkey paying with Chipotle mayo, American cheese with lettuce & tomatoes. My sister and I decided to get the Italian combo. My sister has hot peppers. I chose roasted red peppers. Its a delicious sandwich. When you walk in. You get that Chipotle sandwich shop feel. The ambiance was nice. All the young ladies behind the counter were very nice. It's a fast process. We needed some place fast and good on a busy Saturday night, and stumbled upon Hot Table. What a find! The bread was literally being made as we came in, and within a few minutes we were munching on some freshly made paninis. The 5 stars is for the tuna sandwich. It was delicious and the bread was everything! We walked in and saw white buns displayed which looked freshly baked. They have three sized to choose from so I got a large bun with the standard tuna with everything as described. I didn't need any additional condiments to satisfy the taste, it was delicious as it. There was something seriously wrong with this sandwich. It smelled and tasted like either the cheese or bread or something had gone bad. I also got a fountain coke, which tasted exactly like water. The sandwiches here are delicious! I don't know what kind of voodoo they use on the soft, pillowy bread, but it toasts to perfection! I appreciate the choices of sizes, the small is perfect for a meal, or a medium to share or have leftovers for later. The pumpkin bisque was velvety smooth with pieces of pumpkin giving some texture, and I really liked the harvest salad with grilled chicken added on. I've used them for catering, too, and everyone loves it! The chips are interesting, there is one called All Mixed up, it's multiple chip seasonings mixed up and seasoning the chips. Subway sandwich in a panini press....well atleast subway knows how to evenly split the bread. They need to... 1. Have bread slicing contraptions - manual or automated...doesn't matter which...so the bread is evenly cut for a balanced sandwich. 2. The panini press should either be held or have clips on them for various sizes to press the sandwich evenly. There are so many options here for paninis it can be overwhelming. I usually get a turkey panini with all sorts of toppings. The turkey they use is high quality deli turkey which I personally really, really like. I typically order delivery through DoorDash and food is always tasty and fresh when delivered. As an avid Yelper I'm always on the look out for something new that pops up in my town. Last week, it was Hot Table and today I got to make their acquaintance and I think we're going to be good buds. The menu isn't huge, nor does it need to be. It's a panini joint that serves some soup and salads. I ordered (online, on their site) a medium black and blue and a medium Cubano. I read in other reviews (of the Glastonbury location) that the large is HUGE so, the medium was a great choice. The intention was to do "splitsies" with my wife and BOTH of these paninis were fresh and delicious. The black and blue is (lean) steak, American cheese, blue cheese, mayo and fried (crisp) onions. They did not skimp on anything, especially not the blue cheese. I was pretty impressed that an American chain can do a really good Cubano!! Ham, pork, swiss, mustard and pickles...a winning combination. The ham and pork were lean, exactly what I like. Is the one kind of bread they offer an equal to a real Cuban sandwich, no, but it's versatile enough to have worked with both of my sandwiches. There's a 1000% chance that I will return. I've got my eye on the other steak paninis, the tuna and the veggie/caprese options. That other chain sandwich spot with footlongs, I will be forgetting you in a hot second for Hot Table. read more

Hot Table just opened in this West Hartford location. Obviously being new the build is nice and clean. The sandwiches are good and ingredients seem to all be fresh. The only thing that will keep me from going back to often and the reason for my 3 stars are the prices. I feel like the 3 prices they offer for sandwiches are all $2 overpriced. The small is the size of a hamburger bun and is $9 with taxes the medium is $11 with taxes and the large is $13 with taxes. They should all be $2 lower. Then you have salads for $13 and $14 with protein. That is pretty outrageous for those prices I should be sitting and getting served. If you want a sandwich at reasonable prices I would head over to Jersey Mike's where half a grinder is $8 and is bigger than a large sandwich at hot table. Please also check the nutrition of all these sandwiches the numbers are high and does not qualify this place as a healthy meal. read more

Alright this was pretty good. Got the Italian panini and it tasted EXACTLY like the paninis I would make in the dining hall freshman year, and this is because it was the exact same recipe. And I must say I made some pretty delicious paninis back then. The issue with this place is that the knives they're cutting the sandwiches with are not sharp enough. We were thrilled to find out that Hot Table was opening a location in West Hartford and decided to give it a try on the opening day. Placed an online order for 40 minutes out. I arrived 10 minutes early and our order was already on the pickup shelf. After less then a 5 minute drive home we ended up with slightly warm bread but sandwiches were cold inside... Steak in my sandwich was literally cold as if it came out of the fridge not too long ago. Cheese not even melted. Totally disappointed. Hot Table in West Hartford recently opened in the Corbin's Corner area, right next to Shake Shack. Stopped in at lunchtime and had a very good Italian Cold Cut panini, and my sister had a very good Swiss Steak panini. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. Sandwiches come in three sizes, small, medium and large, reasonably priced. It's mostly about sandwiches, although several soup items were also available. The staff didn't skimp on the sandwiches either, they're prepared with a decent amount of meats and veggies of your choosing. Restaurant was clean with ample seating. I recommend for when you are in the mood for a good sandwich. read more
