This was such an amazing experience The whole ambiance and atmosphere was incredible The service and food to die for!

We got lunch at this delightful cafe. I've been wanting to check this place out. It's more than a cafe, they serve delicious sandwiches, pizza, beer, burgers, and premade grab and go food. A few of the grab and go items I noticed were, chicken Parmesan, lasagna, soups, salads, ice cream, and cookies. They also offer pizza and pasta making classes; and catering for weddings and parties. I got The DB Panini which had turkey, bacon, onion, lettuce, tomato, mayo, cheese, and pepper relish; all hot pressed under bread, this was really good with a pickle and chips as sides. My toddler had grilled cheese and my husband had the Little Oak burger, which they both liked. It was a nice day so we sat out on the patio. The inside was very cozy and clean. I can't wait to try out their coffee and breakfast sandwiches soon.

first of all the food service was spectacular. l really enjoyed the great service at little oak cafe. The ambiance and the atmosphere was amazing, food was out really quickly, and my meal looked/tasted amazing. definitely recommend as new place to try

The DB Panini

What a spot! Stopped here with my honey on a whim looking for a quick bite to eat for lunch and were so impressed. We split the DB panini and bbq chicken jalapeño pizza. So much flavor and spice just exploding in our mouths, I nearly forgot where I was for a moment! Now, don't let the name fool you - little oak cafe may be small but the food is mighty and service is QUICK! As the old adage goes, it's not about the size of the tree, rather it's about the size of the nuts...little oak, the fruits of your tree just produced two new repeat customers! Bravo!

So many tasty options! I ended up having the breakfast burrito. Lovely outside patio to eat on, such friendly service, we loved it!!

Visiting Canton CT to pick my Posche which was getting repaired at a shop there (yes it is very far from where I live), me and my daughter decided to check out the local culinary scene. The reviews of this cafe seemed intriguing so we decided to drop be. The place is in a huge complex with plenty of parking, however they are not very visible from the main rd. Inside they have a very laid back style with chairs and table arranged on the front and side and a niceblittle bar in the middle. There is outside seating too, but it was too cold to sit outside so we stayed indoors. Ordering was simple, you select what you want at the counter, and then they bring the food to your table. I opted for the roast beef sandwich, which came with a side of macaroni pasta. Both were really good! It seemed a popular place as even though it wad 3pm, there were families coming in. Will definitely visit them, next time my Porsche has issues!!

We finally had the chance to stop in and experience Little Oak Cafe and were not disappointed! Located in the back of Canton Village, Little Oak Cafe is literally a hidden gem with dynamite food and service. We stopped in for lunch and decided on Roast Beef and Ham and Cheddar paninis, both of which were excellent. Portions are pretty large and the prices are great! We came in hungry and both of us were actually full after eating half of our sandwiches, but we just HAD to finish them. However, we could've easily had leftovers, had we chosen to. We each opted for a side of macaroni salad, and that too, was delicious. Service was awesome and we were asked more than a few times how we were doing and if we needed anything, which was very nice. Little Oak Cafe has a spacious dining area and tables are spaced out for social distancing purposes. They also have extensive takeout offerings, which we will have to check out the next time we're in. We will definitely return again!

Cute little cafe. Great offerings of teas and baronet coffees. We went for breakfast - menu very small but all sounds delicious. Multigrain bread delicious. My potatoes were undercooked but I like crispy. Food is served on rectangular metal trays and utensils are individually packaged disposable units. Staff extremely welcoming!!

Little Oak has a varied menu, so depending on the time of day, you can satisfy your hunger with a choice of breakfast sandwiches, sandwiches, paninis, pizza, salads, or "Grab and Go" entrees from their display cases. We walked in Sunday afternoon and ordered two sandwiches to go. Kelly, the young lady behind the counter, was very polite and friendly and took our order efficiently. I ordered a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich as a wrap ($10.95). It was a very generous sandwich, loaded with chicken chunks, lettuce, tomato, pickles, spicy mayo, and Nashville hot spice. It was excellent, and definitely had the slight degree of the heat I expected. Sandwiches are served with a pickle and a choice of chips or macaroni salad. The pickle was a giant dill spear, and the macaroni salad was very good too. There were a few tables of diners eating their lunch in the dining room, and we noticed the tables have been thinned out to comply with social distancing. The floorspace of the dining room is quite a bit roomier than it was for the previous tenant here. As we waited for our food to be cooked to order, we read about pasta and pizza making classes they run at night for groups of six or more. That seems pretty interesting !! All in all, we had a very satisfactory experience on our first visit to Little Oak.

This is my 3rd or 4th take out order from here, and I will say they recovered from a bumpy previous experience. Last time, they forgot to put pepperoni on one pizza (tho' it was ordered & paid for, as per receipt). Regretfully, I passed on my usual quick peak at the pies before leaving, so I had a slightly* disappointed crowd when I got home, *BUT, the Buffalo chicken pizza I also delivered got people over the missing pepperoni. The Bflo chicken pizza lacks any kick you'd probably expect, but is otherwise awesome, & it's easy to drizzle with hot sauce at home. Back to the missing pepperoni: I called, they apologized & quickly offered to re-do the pizza or for me to come back another time. Mistakes happen, and what's key is handling it right, which they did, hassle free which I appreciate.

Takeout Review: 3.5 stars…read more This is the second time ordering takeout from here. The first time, I ordered the Grilled Chicken panini at $14.95 which had grilled chicken breast, pesto sauce, tomatoes, provolone & roasted peppers. The chicken salad was good but the panini was too hard to chew, wished I ordered it on a brioche bun or grinder. The second time, I ordered the Speedy Gonzales Burger for $14.95. It has 8oz. Angus beef, chipotle mayo, onion rings, lettuce, tomatoes & Monterey Jack cheese. This was good but I requested the beef to be cooked at medium but it came out medium well, not a big deal but it would've been more tender at medium. You can order directly from their website. The ordering process was easy and food was hot and ready by the time requested. My husband loves their Philly cheese steak with peppers and onion. Will definitely order from them again.

These days it's hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced and better than just average. But Toasted Oat hits the high points of quality of cook on the food, even if the ingredients may not all be top notch. They have breakfast sandwiches, bowls and scrambles, as well as regular sandwiches, salads and burritos. We enjoyed the regular breakfast sandwich with spinach and cheese (subbed the meat but wish the spinach had been cooked in - $7) and the breakfast scramble which included 2 eggs, 3 veggies, cheese, protein all mixed/cut up together, as well as hash brown (didn't exactly look homemade?) and toast ($11). Everything was served in to-go containers so the looks weren't the best but makes sense given the place and that most people probably don't dine in. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything takes time to come out so you know it's done to order. They also have some coffee and tea. They had a few coffee cake items in a glass display but didn't look homemade either. It feels like a cafe should have more selection of pastries but again bother me. Service was friendly and patient. The actual location isn't that great visually either. There is one longer table and a few smaller ones, but it's not a big place and not decorated to impress (fine by me!) It is located in a small nondescript plaza with an Indian market. Small parking lot. Wish this small business well!

Toasted OAT Cafe in Canton has been here a long time. I'm not sure why I haven't stopped here…read morebefore. My brunch buddy and I had to make a last minute change of plans, so we landed at Toasted OAT today for breakfast. There are a few tables in a roped off section of the parking lot to eat outside. Inside, there's a long table in the middle, 3 smaller tables on the left, and a bar at the window. We had no problem getting a seat, but it seems like it's more of a take-and-go place than a destination to eat. There are a lot of customizations you can make to your food order, which is more easily done in their online ordering system--but there's a $1.95 service fee to use it. My friend and I made our decisions based off of that system but ordered at the counter. While there are a lot of breakfast and lunch options, there aren't many beverages. Coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are the mainstays for warm beverages, and all cold beverages other than cold brew coffee are prepackaged bottles in a cooler and run just short of $4. Every order, whether it's take-out or eat-in, is served in disposable packaging with disposable utensils. I ordered the Reuben bowl without eggs and a side waffle with syrup. Kind of love that I could get a side waffle. It took a while for the food to come out. It felt longer than it should have been for how few people were there, but I didn't time it. My waffle was cold. The tator tots in the Reuben bowl, however, were cooked perfectly, as were my friend's hash browns. Everything tasted great. If you're looking for the picturesque weekend brunch experience, this isn't it. But if you want a quick bite that's well made with quality ingredients and no-fuss beverages, you'll be very happy here. Even more so if you want to take it on the go.

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

The young woman who helped me was very nice, and acted professionally under the circumstances. But they did not prepare me for the fact that my order might take that long. I would have left right away if they had. I finally had to speak up and I was told that they only had one person cooking. Frankly, given the amount of output from the kitchen, that should have been enough to finish my food much earlier. The wings were reasonably good. The sauce was spicy but manageable. The inner texture was most and juicy. The outer texture had some char, and wasn't too chewy as grilled wings sometimes are. If my order had taken about 10 minutes, which would have been reasonable for food of this nature, I would return.
