I had stumbled upon this establishment while searching for new places to visits for a breakfast/lunch like 2 months ago. The staff was friendly and gave us their thoughts. The food tasted good and had a warming feeling when eating it. I also liked their coffee although just regular black with some sugar & cream, I enjoyed it. My favorite was the sandwich on a roll with the bacon, turkey, egg, lettuce, avocado, tomato, & cheese. It did not feel heavy although it had many layers to it, very tasty! The server had mentioned she actually liked it, so great choice. The double cheeseburger was as expected and had flavor to it, wasn't too bland, & it was also tasty. Went there for breakfast this morning. Fabulous home cooked food; home fries were some of the best I've had. Service was attentive, but not overbearing. Meals were served promptly. The place had a charm with paintings on the way and tasteful decor throughout. Very comfortable atmosphere with soft music in the background. Highly recommended. Another hidden gem in the Plainville area. Not in an area where many restaurants are located, therefore it can be easily missed. I was shocked to know that in such a small area there are such a wide variety of restaurant options. Today our google search recommend Nina's kitchen which was only a 3-minute drive from work. Menu options include breakfast, salads, pasta, baked goods as well as hot and cold sandwiches. Soft drinks, chips, coffee, and fruits are also available The dining area is very cozy, clean, and tidy. Our server who was also the cashier handed us a menu to review and was back to take our order in a few minutes. Service was very fast as our wait time was less than 5 minutes. I had the BLT and it was so good. At first, I thought the bacon was too crispy but combined with the lettuce tomato and Mayo it was the perfect texture and consistency. My friends both enjoy their ham and cheese grinder and the corn chowder with chicken parm sandwich. The menu had stated that they had banana bread but when I asked, he said it was out of stock and they are waiting for the bananas to ripe a bit more. It was a bummer but funny at the same time. Prices were very reasonable as I wasn't looking to spend more than 10 dollars on lunch today and my total was just$10.06 If you are looking for somewhere quiet for a quick bite then check out Nina's. This place is amazing. We tried it once and go back as much as we can. Today had the Chicken Philly - blown away, it was the perfect texture, wasn't sure what to expect. It was chopped but you can tell it was real chicken and not a deli style chicken like some places use. I asked for it a certain way and as usually they did not disappoint t. We had a cranberry chicken salad sandwich which Is a go to favorite of this house. (We usually order one to snack on at some point lol. Spring salad was the perfect size. They separate the hot food from the cold good, sounds simple however most places throw everything in the same bag. My wife and I both had the week off and didn't want to eat at home. With no plans made for any of our days off, we had time to go out to breakfast where ever we wanted. Well, we went once and loved it so much we went again but brought two of our sons with us. The atmosphere is totally relaxed. Paper plates, cups, and plastic forks make the relaxed feeling complete. The food is great. We had omelets all around and they come out covering the plate. The potatoes are done just right, a little crispy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. The price is fantastic for the amount of food you get. The service is quick and attentive. We can't wait to have another day of leisure to go back for a nice, slow, delicious breakfast at a price that can't be beaten. read more

We discovered a new gem in Plainville. First impression is it's bright, airy , clean and homey. You can order breakfast all day on weekends. I ordered a southwest egg wrap. It was served hot and delicious. My husband ordered a western omelet with home fries. He enjoyed his as well, especially since they had no problem fixing it just the way he wanted it. This is a local deli in Plainville. Kind of like a neighborhood stop in a small town. Small pace that seems like they are on vacation a lot. Also closed Mondays. So the food here is PRETTY GOOD. I wouldn't go near or give them 5 stars. It's kinda average. You could probably do better but way worse. For me it's convenient. Pricing is all over the place. There's some very reasonably priced items and some where you feel like you are in West Hartford. Couple things on menu I've tried is a few breakfast sandwiches which seem to be the thing to get. And again not bad not great. Home fries are tasty. For lunch it's basic sandwiches too. Not Italian deli. Prob more Greek style or Albanian. You notice the difference. But again for its location it's not bad if you want a quick sandwich. They do make an excellent cheesecake brownie if you want a little treat. Lastly staff is much friendlier then they use to be when they first opened. read more

Wanted to try somthing new for breakfast this Sunday morning and decided on Nina's. Parking was full and we had a few minute wait to be seated. Place is clean and staff is warm and friendly! We helped ourselves to coffee from the coffee bar and tomato juice from the cold beverage refrigerator. The breakfast came out hot and in short time. Food was done well with large portions and tasted great! The owner came to our table with fresh out of the oven banana bread! This extra treat was a surprise and oh so good! This place is amazing! I honestly can't get enough. It's a perfect deli, with delicious classic hot and cold sandwiches. I haven't tried any of the sides yet but I'm sure they are delicious as well. A friend and I decided on a spontaeous lunch today. We had passed by this place several times and it looked inviting with cars in the lot so we decided to stop in. Very pleasant, bright and cheery. We both enjoyed the different sandwiches which were large even for the smallest (roll) size. The place was busy, but service was quick. I would definitely go back to try other things. Stopped for a quick late lunch today and it was a very nice experience! The place was spotless with about 4 or 5 small tables set up to eat-in. They had a huge variety of fresh salads, deli sandwiches(both hot and cold) and they were offering 2 soups and a full St Patrick's Day corned beef dinner or a special corned beef Reuben sandwich. Went to Nina's Kitchen this morning. First time here. Got southwest omelette, home fries and toast. The omelette was very good, had sausage, salsa, and cheddar cheese. The home fries were also very good, not greasy and had a crispy crust on them. I want to try other breakfast and dinner items. My only complaint is they don't have pancakes.
