It was tender, juicy, flavorful grilled chicken on fresh bread with some absolutely kicking honey mustard. I will 100% go back to this place because The sandwich was near perfection. That being said, the service was seriously subpar. By that I mean, both slow and particularly unwelcoming. In addition, I feel the need to mention that we chose to stay there to eat, and both the tables and the salt and pepper shakers were absolutely filthy. So, despite the fact that it wasn't a perfect experience... their menu is really extensive and the food is delicious, so I'm sure we'll visit again sometime! Maybe we will order ahead and get our food to go!

The italiano was good I just wasn't crazy about the bread and I'd add spicy brown mustard and extra cheese next time. The turkey ham bacon grinder was good just needed pickles (which I added at home) and the chicken bacon wrap was perfect. Service was a young lady who was very nice in store. Also! They had blue raspberry popsicles!! I've been looking for these and craving them for almost two years now, I would come back for those alone but also the sandwiches.

First time I had a chicken cutlet that tasted like it was fresh from the microwave and I didn't go back. My brother told me to try something else, so I gave them another try. I had the combo. The meats didn't look or taste high end - like the generic stuff at a grocery store. But the veggies were fresh and layered thick. The first thing I noticed is how huge it was! I have a good appetite and only ate half, saving other half for lunch tomorrow. The biggest complaint is the bread - I don't know if it was old or just a bad choice for cost cutting purposes. They would do well to charge $0.50 more and use better bread. The ladies behind the counter were very pleasant and looked like they've been there forever.

I say this so readers will consider that my perspective may not be the same as those that live in the area. So with that caveat, I must provide this disappointing review. To begin with, Sally & Bob's is located in a very busy area with very limited curbside parking so that even getting there can be an inconvenience. Once we arrived, the staff was slow to seat us and slower still to take our orders. I'm not talking about a place that isn't rushing you to order, more like somewhere that could care less about their customers. The food was decent, but nothing special. I will not be returning or recommending it. Candidly, my impression is that it seems to be a place that caters to locals who know: 1) not to wait to be seated, 2) what they want to order as soon as they sit down, and 3) know the staff consider them "regulars". If this is you, it may very well be what you're looking for as there is no "hurry up, eat and leave" approach.

Although a scenic drive to Bruno's, it is completely out of the way for me, but I wanted to try them. This cafe is small, and very busy. They have some seating options, but all the seats were taken. They did have some tables and chairs outside, and it was a pleasant day to sit outside. Their milk is sourced from Arethusa Farms, one of the best, if not THE BEST local dairy resources. Their menu is large with coffee, tea, refreshers, including pastries, breakfast and lunch options. On this trip we got coffees. I got Nova's Nutella Latte, the others got a mocha and Kiwi, Mint & Lemongrass refresher. These were all very pricey, I was a bit taken aback. Each drink was between $9.00 and $10.00. Maybe it's because of the locally sourced milk, I can't think of another reason. My Nutella Latte was very chocholatey and very tasty, but my cup was also filled with ice all the way to the top. The refresher was very sweet, but a unique combo of flavors and pretty refreshing. The mocha was solid. Overall, maybe I got the wrong things at Bruno's, but I can't say I was super impressed, especially at such a high cost.
