Visiting Bruno's was on my list since a while. I finally did and it is my new fav local spot. I tried Scarecrow latte, Brown butter latte, and Autumn palmer from their winter special menu. They were all great and I look forward to trying their seasonal drinks since they always come up with interesting ones. Their cream cheeses are super fresh and yum. In food we've tried Plain Jane and Garden Goddess panini so far and we liked it. The staff is patient and friendly. And love the cozy vibe they have going. Be sure to wait during rush hours. I am not a coffee drinker, but a girlfriend of mine wanted me to grab coffee with her so I googled places close to me and found this gem. I just grabbed a lemonade and had a granola bar. She ordered a cold drink. It's a very busy place the food everyone had looked absolutely amazing! My only complaint is that she had to wait almost 20 minutes for her beverage. I definitely wanna go back and eat. I will just go early before the crowd. read more

Brunos was festive for the fall right when I walked up to the front of the place. I ordered one of their speciality lattes the brown butter cookies and asked for it iced. A mistake was made and I got the smaller size instead of the large. For breakfast I had sausage, egg, and cheese on a really nice sourdough bread. It was cute my sandwich was cut in the shape of heart. I don't know how they prepared my sandwich but it was not greasy. read more

Bruno's Cafe is located in Unionville in a small plaza. Parking was ample. The interior was cozy and the customer service was friendly. I'm a coffee lover and love visiting cafes. They had plenty of drinks to choose from. I decided to get a matcha latte and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed their cold brew. They had some baked goods and snacks as well. Nice coffee spot in Unionville. Secret weapon of this place is really the food and the pastries. Im not a big specialty coffee guy but I get the tomato soup w grilled cheese combo, which is just a winner. This is such an amazing coffee spot. We went in the middle of a weekday and it was so busy! They have lots of food and pastry options. The drink customizations are endless and they are very helpful if you're trying to decide what to get. This might seem small but my friend and I LOVED the music that they played inside. It was such a vibe. All of the staff were so nice and personable. Even when it was super busy, we never felt rushed or like anyone was being rude. I normally come here often & order the same few things. The past 2 visits in the past few weeks the quality and service has needed improvement. An error on the staffs end resulted somehow in me paying for an up charge for a drink I didn't need because they made it incorrectly. I was already charged for what I ordered and they wanted me to pay for the incorrect drink that was made as well. I've never had this experience In all my previous trips so I think it may be due to new staff. read more

Such a cute cafe! Bruno's has been on my list for a while now because their seasonal/limited drinks always look so appealing and their ingredients and baked goods are high quality, with the pastries being made daily locally and the milk being from Arethusa. I'm glad I finally got to try them. I got the gingerbread chai, which I loved. It wasn't too sweet, and the cold foam added a nice touch. I also enjoyed my sandwich - the Hot Mama - which I was told is one of the most popular sandwiches here. It was much larger than I was expecting, and the combination of all the toppings was delicious. My only gripe is that the hot honey was really liquidy. Overall, I would come back. They use beans from Counter Culture, their pastries are sourced from New Haven, and their sourdough bread is made with ingredients imported from France. OBSESSED. This spot is super cute and definitely gives off those perfect New England vibes. I wish I caught her name, but the cashier was super friendly and helpful! I was torn between so many options on their menu because everything sounded really good. I ended up ordering the big bird sandwich with a side of tomato basil soup. DELICIOUS. Im not the biggest fan of blue cheese so I will say it was a bit heavy, but this sandwich was on point. The soup was so flavorful and a huge size for only being a side. Their pastries are from G cafe in New Haven so I love to see the #collab! I got the pistachio croissant which was a bit dry but perfect the next morning after I threw it in my toaster oven. Bruno's is a nice place to get breakfast, I go there a lot with my sister. Their pastries are good and so are their breakfast sandwiches. It is on the more expensive en if you're getting like a full breakfast. For instance two coffees, two breakfast sandwiches and a pastry might cost round $50 total. But everything will taste good and the place is cute. It would cost less if you didn't go all out but I'm a foodie. Pastries are great they just disappear really quickly, so if you want more options be sure to get there early! Service is nice, you order at the register then wait for them to call your names for coffee and food. Going to places who shine in making breakfast sandwiches are a gem to me. Bruno's cafe is a local gem. I ordered a "Sunny Grove" breakfast sandwich and it delivered. The flavor was there packed with avocado, bacon, egg, and cheese. The bagel was fresh fluffy and light. The egg was perfectly seasoned and over easy in my sandwich. Paired with a standard oat milk latte this breakfast was very satisfying. Bruno's has a lot of options with a friendly staff, very cool aesthetic in their cafe and a lot of gluten free pastry options. Bruno's Cafe is a new-ish coffee shop in the Farmington area, specifically in the Unionville section. My mom and I took a detour and wondered here from our planned mission. Bruno's Cafe was easy to find and they had plenty of parking. It was in a very cute little area of town. My mom lived in Unionville for sometime when she was little and of course she gave me the grand tour, driving by her old neighborhood, elementary school, and pointing out what the buildings and businesses used to be back in the day. When we walked into Bruno's Cafe, the vibe was different than any other coffee shop I've been too. The light was low, the decor was like country chic with a modern, industrial flair. Since the cafe's lighting was dim, we could easily read the digital menu screens that are displayed across from the counter--so when you walk through the door, turn around! They had a variety of hot and cold coffee and teas, breakfast sandwiches, salads, paninis, soup, fresh baked breads, bagels and pastries. We ordered off of their monthly drink special menu. It was March so a lot of the flavors were St. Patty's themed. My mom ordered the Lucky Latte that she customized by removing the peppermint syrup--so it was mocha, Irish cream and topped with lucky charms. I tried the Blueberry Matcha latte since this is one of my favorite flavor combos. I assumed the blueberry flavoring was a simple syrup, but to my surprise it was real blueberry that was a thick like compote. It wasn't too sweet and blended well with the matcha. I love the bits and pieces of the blueberries. It was the BEST blueberry matcha drink I have ever had. We visited at the perfect time since this was a monthly special. It was a hoppin' little cafe as we had to wait for our drinks to be made, but we were in no rush. A lot of people were ordering bagels and hot sandwiches--and they smelt so good. There was a small seating area that was fully occupied. Bruno's Cafe is worth the trip or make an excuse to be in the Unionville/Farmington area to give it a try. Can we talk about Bruno? I ordered online (easy peasy) and went with the basic BEC done the Bruno way (ketchup, hash brown, salt pepper). I was a little worried that the bagel would be bland but it was tasty and fresh! The BEC itself was terrific. Very hearty bacon. Loved this hole in the wall gourmet breakfast and lunch spot! The local products made it even better. Milk from a farm in Litchfield and French pastries and croissants from a local shop, baked by a native French chef. I ordered the Sunny Grove and it was AMAZING. You know when you bite into an authentic French croissant and your butter taste buds are activated? Yeah, that happened. I was immediately transported back to France and almost had a spiritual awakening. Aside from the delicious breakfast sandwich, I also ordered a custom latte with assistance from the super friendly barista, who was my Sherpa through the drink ordering process. I love coffee shop hopping to study and had a great experience at Bruno's! Such a cozy spot with great ambiance. The employees were very friendly. The prices were reasonable and only varied $1 between each size. They have a rewards system as well. Good amount of breakfast options with a choice between ciabatta, croissant, bagel, and sourdough bread. They also offer different salads and lunch sandwich options. I decided to go with The Ville and it was great! You can tell the bread is fresh :) Hot chocolate was tasty as well. They offer free wifi and have a spacious parking lot that backs up to the historical marketplace building. The seating is a bit limited so I wouldn't recommend it for larger groups. Music isn't too loud and adds to the calming atmosphere. Got an iced chai latte for my sister and she said it was one of the best she'd ever had! They offer oat and almond milk for those with dairy allergies. Would recommend to anyone who wants to grab a quick bite or sit down to chat with a friend for a while. I used to drive 45 minutes to get almond croissants from the Ovens of France. much to my delight I found out that Bruno's picks them up from Ovens of France fresh every morning and brings them to Unionville! they have lots of other yummy treats here and great coffee. read more
