We were on a road trip and in need of a place to stop for lunch. I pulled out my trusty Yelp app and came across Fina's Kitchen and its excellent reviews. The small restaurant was like a deli with several tables inside and a lovely outdoor patio that really elevated its overall atmosphere. We placed our order at the inside counter and grabbed a table outside. Throughout our visit, we experienced extremely pleasant and gracious service from Fina and a young man, both of whom were cooking and delivering the food. Though this caused things to move on the slower side, they really had their system down to a science, managing our meals and the several takeout orders that I saw being collected. The lunch menu had various salads, sandwiches, and burgers on offer. I selected the Chicken Gyro, which used a real grilled chicken breast that had been sliced, rather than those pre-cut strips that always seem to contain fillers. The chicken was a tad dry, but the homemade tzatziki sauce, which was heavily infused with dill, helped to add moisture to the sandwich. I had opted for a whole wheat wrap, rather than a pita, and I loved that they had lightly toasted the completed dish, even with its inclusion of romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes. That method gave the wrap an improved texture and a slight crunch. I sampled a few of my companion's fries, which were thin, crispy, and had a real rustic flavor that resembled potato skins. The only thing keeping it from a perfect review is while the food was great and homemade fresh, it didn't have flavor, it was very smooth but just bland. Will try something else next time. Great atmosphere, quaint little café! Indoor seating and also and outdoor sections which is beautiful. Quick and thoughtful service, good came out quickly but not too quick so you know it was made fresh. You can also see everything being done behind the counter which is awesome to watch! Ruben egg rolls were phenomenal with a perfect filling ratio. Fresh egg roll wrapper with superb crunch. Bring it Burger was extremely fresh, not over the top with great flavors with the BBQ and ranch sauce. Only critique I have is its pretty salty, and a tall burger making it more difficult to eat. I love finding places like this. Family owned and operated, unpretentious, good food, prepared with care! When I went today, Fina was out sick so her son was running the entire operation solo. From taking orders, running drinks, and cranking food out from the grill, he was fully on top of his game. The bacon cheeseburgers were divine, and the patty melts very melty. As they say, "good food takes time" so we were happy to wait and the results were totally worth it. I will eat here over fancy chain places that charge 2-3 times as much--it IS that good. read more

If you are looking for a cookie cutter production line meal, you've come to the wrong place, go to Red Robin and eat their processed stuff - But if you was an original luncheonette that makes your meal from scratch (like their tortilla chips) for their nachos and chop up your salad into bite size pieces instead of wedges you can't fit in your mouth. Their mushroom Swiss burger was perfect from bite one with the perfect amount of mayo, lettuce, thin pickles on top of mushrooms and the Swiss. Top this off with the best Gluten-free bun I've had. The atmosphere is friendly and warm because your in a Mom&Pop type of eatery. They make they're salads fresh and the potatoe and cole-salaw's as well. This place is a breath of fresh air! With the warm welcoming owners to the natural flavorful food. They serve both American fare and some European Mediterranean delights. I ordered their bbq ribs today for takeout. When I opened the box I was taken aback when I saw a side of sauce. Me, starving I dug into the ribs, I didn't even need the sauce they were seasoned Soo well with a Mediterranean blend of earthy seasoning that you would find in ground meat for mousaka or goulash. Just Amazing & melted in the mouth! Far cry from Chili's miserable ribs. It came with broccoli, the broccoli was the best broccoli I had from a restaurant before too; seasoned perfectly. They cook real European home cooked meals; Comfort food with a capital C.
