Stopped in today and was completely blown away by the special -- the Dubai crepe was nothing short of amazing. It came as three perfectly made chocolate crepes filled with a rich, smooth Dubai pistachio filling, and it was hands down the best crepe I've ever had. The balance of flavors was spot on: indulgent and chocolatey without being overly sweet, and the pistachio filling added such a unique touch. You can really tell how much care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. This is the kind of dish that sticks with you long after you've finished it. My three friends and I met at Joey B's for brunch this morning. I have never been here before. They were very busy this morning, there was a huge line of patrons waiting to be seated. Once seated it was a tight squeeze. Their menu features toast, pancakes, wraps, waffles and omelets. My two friends got very tasty looking omelets. My other friend and I got Stuffed French Toast to share. The Banana Split Stuffed French Toast was plenty big for us to share. This French Toast was stuffed with whipped cream cheese, surrounded by banana halves and strawberries. There was a little ice cream cone in the middle of the French toast filled with more cream cheese. Thank goodness we shared this, even then we couldn't finish it. The more contemporary exterior now includes an ice cream counter where there used to be a stray booths. Now it's ice cream, gelato and other frozen goodies, plus an exterior window for walk-up service. Inside the always tempting list of daily specials remains, but so do the classics. Our eggs Benedict, omelets, and avocado toast with everything bagel topping were excellent! The orange juice is fresh-squeezed, hence the wire crate behind the counter. TBC if that juice can become a mimosa. I've only met pleasant staff here, and there's no change there. Berlin is the land of breakfast joints but we go here first. I love a good diner, and Joey B's does not disappoint! It does exactly what you want it to do, and it does it well. My coworkers and I stopped by here for lunch on a Tuesday. We were seated right away, and service was polite and pleasant. The place was pleasant--not too many people, but not empty either. We ordered, and food came quickly! Everything was delicious. The scrambled eggs were a little less fluffy and more flat than expected, but they were yummy nonetheless. The country fried steak with toast and scrambled eggs was exactly what I needed. And with the sausage gravy on top--delicious!! My coworkers were very satisfied with their meals as well. Definitely a nice little spot to stop in and grab breakfast or lunch. Looking for a local breakfast spot that had a parking lot that seemed good based off reviews and this fit the bill. We were quickly greeted and sat down right away and all the staff were friendly and our waitress was attentive and made sure to help in any way with questions or our needs. As you walk in they have an old school style booth before walking into the dining area with plenty of booths and tables. Their breakfast menu has all the classics you'd expect a local breakfast spot to have with a couple unique offerings. They also have daily specials on a displayed menu at the tables. I was hungry so I grabbed the sampler that included 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon, 2 sausages, toast, and two pancakes for a steal at a price of roughly 17. Was a huge portion of food for that price in my mind. My wife enjoyed their margarita omelette daily special and the taste was so good! One of the better omelettes I have tried in a while. As I mentioned above service was great but the speed at which we got our food it was so quick! I've driven past Joey B's before, but usually after they close or when I had other plans. I've been making my way through the best Berlin restaurants and decided to visit for lunch. Joey B's is open for breakfast and lunch. They have a counter and dining room. Seems like the type of place that would have long time regular customers. Service was good. I'm glad I looked at the menu and Yelp pics in advance so I knew that Joey B's is known for poutine. They have a basic poutine with just cheese curds and the gravy. In a couple of different sizes. They have a few jazzed up poutines. I ordered the small size of the traditional curds and gravy poutine and a single pancake. I'm not an expert on poutine, but I've had it several times and this seems like the real deal. The gravy was very rich and smooth. Some of the cheese curds kept their shape, and some melted into a stretchable treasure. The portion of the medium square cut fries not covered in gravy had great outer texture. The portion covered in gravy predictably was a bit softer. I was very impressed with this poutine and I assume the owners have a French Canadian background. The pancake was pretty good. It looked great, but it was a bit chewier than the light fluffy texture I prefer. It shouldn't have taken me this long to try Joey B's. I'll be back! 4.25 Stars read more

Never said so many 'Good Morning's in one day but after arriving at Joey B's in Berlin I have set a new record. Friendly place where so many people know each other. Met a good friend for a second breakfast today. He called late and asked me to meet him so I, of course, obliged. He is having eating problems and knew he could get what he needed here. His two poached eggs in a cup and a side of whole wheat toast was perfect [and It looked good]. Since I had already eaten I had a Triple Berry muffin and deCaf coffee and this filled the bill. Nice people, both customers and staff, who all seemed in good moods and enjoying the food. I will definitely go back and try out some real breakfast food for me. Our second visit proved to be a disappointment though there were pluses including good service and a upgraded decor. On the negative side of the balance sheet was the food. My eggs Benedict were decent though the English muffins required, literally, a steak knife and once again the Hollandaise was bland. I was working in the area on a Saturday morning and had left my lunchbox at home. This was close by so I decided to try it out. It's a cafe/diner type place so I wasn't expecting much from the coffee and I was pleasantly surprised! Freshly made, HOT, and a good taste to it. Not that basically-gas station-type coffee. They serve breakfast and lunch all day, I'm not sure about the dinner menu. I went halfsies and got the country fried steak and scrambled eggs with French fries instead of home fries. I also asked instead of toast can I have some sliced tomatoes, she said sure. The food arrived pretty quick. I enjoyed the country steak although I'm partial to the iHop version just because it's always crispy. This one had good flavor, plenty of gravy but not quite the crispiness I was hoping for. What made me laugh was for my sliced tomatoes I got ONE slice on a separate plate! She also noticed, apologized and removed the extra charge from my bill without me having to say anything! What I did notice was how friendly and happy the waitstaff seemed to be on a busy Saturday morning. Must be a nice place to work. They have a nice little poutine menu selection so I told my husband we'll have to come back together so he can try it out. I keep getting the biscuits and sausage gravy because it's DELICIOUS but last week, even though it was earlier than 10am, I also ordered a chili cheese dog. We only ever get there for breakfast but I LOVE hot dogs, especially chili cheese dogs. I also love that the waitress didn't bat an eye when I added that to my breakfast order. Joey B's is officially my new favorite breakfast spot! Even on a busy Labor Day we were able to get a table after a few minute wait and some great service. They have a vast menu and specials. I got their Labor Day homemade sweet French toast and an egg ham and cheese sandwich. The French toast was super fluffy and thick and so delicious! I would totally get this again- plus the special was homemade bread so it was extra delicious. My husband got eggs, toast an corned beef hash. He could not stop raving about the hash! We are always on the lookout for good breakfast places. And Joey B's in Berlin was a wonderful find. Decided to venture west of the river this morning for some errands. I searched google for breakfast places & found this place. Not expecting more than a local joint, we were (pleasantly) surprised to enter a good sized, recently opened (2020 - 2 weeks before Covid) breakfast & lunch place. Clean & nicely decorated , counter seating & lots of comfortable booths, which were filled when we came in around 10:30. I had the Irish Benedict which was really good. Their own corned beef hash & sauce on top was quite tasty. Coffee was good too. Best breakfast around if you can go during the week weekend there's a small wait but well worth it

It was on the recommendation of my friend, Demanding Dan, that I made the trek to Joey B's. Always like to try new places, and Joey B's was synonymous with what Aaron Judge has become very prolific at - a home run! Parking lot was pretty full for a mid-week, mid-day...always a good sign. I sat at the counter, and was served by Paige. Can't say enough good things about her. Great demeanor, fast, efficient, very capable. Noticed that the CBH was advertised as "house made". So the 3 XL egg hash omelet with cheddar was my choice. Comes with home fries (or French) and toast. The omelet was EGGSELLENT!!!. Perfectly cooked with the right amount of hash. One minor quibble. The rye toast was slightly burned in the middle and not toasted on the sides. Kind of unusual that such a great omelet and very good home fries were not served with good toast. Coffee was also excellent and bottomless. Couple things to add. All the servers looked efficient, and acted like they enjoyed working at Joey B's. Very clean place. Finally, for a restaurant that opened only 2 years ago, they have a great system in place....kitchen does a nice job pushing the food out. Prices reasonable. Recommend highly. read more

We've been meaning to get down to Joey B's for a while now and when we finally did we were not disappointed I've been on a kick lately of trying corned beef hash at any new breakfast place I go to and I think the hash at Joey B's is my new favorite! Lots of flavor, crispy, and loved the onions. My eggs were cooked perfectly and the home fries were equally as delicious. Upon arrival, I found the restaurant to be clean, and greeted/seated promptly Our waitress was knowledgeable, smiled a lot, was very polite, and delivered the food promptly Breakfast is solid, whatever you order, it's gonna be really good For all of us, eggs were cooked to order, and none of the breakfast requests were messed up. We really did not enjoy our meal here unfortunately. Servers seemed nice, but the food was poor to average. There are many positive reviews of breakfast-type items, so I wonder if this is just not a place to go for anything but breakfast / brunch. To be fair, our scrambled eggs were fine. The chili (billed as homemade) was atrocious. It was clearly from a can, extremely processed, horrifically salty with an oddly soft serve like consistency. Tried for first time last Sunday March 24, and had a great meal. Bunch of us were looking for new spot and glad we tried Joey Bs. Lots of food on menu, prices are the usual prices these days. The food was great. I instantly saw the Chicken and Waffles and knew I had to try. Had thick waffles, big chicken strips that were not greasy and of course added the strawberries and cream. Was amazing. All the food looked great at the table. Potato's were good. Service was good, the lady did a nice job of handling our large orders. Nice thing was we chatted and waited for food not too long considering how busy it was and never felt rushed. I arrived after dropping my daughter off at school today and the parking lot was just starting to get filled. This was a good sign out the gate and so I went in. I noticed a few patrons seated at the front bar area and so I grabbed up a booth by the window (for extra lighting to shoot my video. I was greeted by a waitress (that I do know personally) and she brought over both my water and ginger ale. After taking my order, I would say that I waited no longer than 15 minutes to receive the following: A bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich, French toast, scrambled eggs with extra bacon. Now my breakfast sandwich, cooked as ordered with a hard egg, American cheese and semi crisp bacon. The only gripe about my sandwich is that I do enjoy for my bacon to be a bit crispier but this bacon also had more of a salty taste to it. The hard roll was fresh and lightly toasted and its overall flavor was decent enough. I hit my scrambled eggs with cheese next. Me personally, I love for my cheese to actually be scrambled within the eggs but more times than not, the cheese slices are just melted over the eggs, unless you are ordering them from The Waffle House; where they do not miss with the scrambled eggs with cheese!!! Mine were ok after adding a touch of salt and pepper for additional flavor. The eggs weren't over cooked which I can always appreciate and they were fluffy. My side of bacon was no exaggeration to the earlier taste of too much salt for the bite alone was much like attacking a salt stick out in the wild. The. bacon had a hickory flare to it and left some things to be desired but that's ok. I will say that my French toast was alright. I asked for Texas French Toast, which comes out thicker than regular but perhaps my order was forgotten and or lost in translation but that's ok, it was still a nice bite. Not eggy at all and soft, which complemented the syrup used to add pop! I will definitely go back to Joey B's for breakfast. All of that came to roughly 28.00! I wish Joey B's continued success. My husband visited last weekend during the soft opening and suggested that my son and I check them out today. While the decor has changed, it was nice to see some familiar faces on the waitstaff. While still celebrating their soft opening, the restaurant was extremely busy with only a few parking spots left. Thankfully, there was no wait to be seated. Unfortunately, there was a wait to place our orders and to receive our food, but that was to be expected with how busy they were. Good news, the coffee is just as good as the previous establishment. The breakfast menu seemed slightly smaller, but I was excited to try the Irish Benedict. The Hollandaise was on point. The hash seemed more commercial than homemade, but with the rest of ingredients, it worked. I think I'll request a steak knife next time, it was a bit tough to get through the English muffin with the standard knife. My home fries were supposed to be crispy, but were not served well done. My son was very happy with his chocolate chip muffin and side of bacon. He even made me try his bacon, because he said it was that good (I had to agree). Hubby was very happy with his meal.
