This coffee shop was amazing. Stopped here for a little lunch and caffeine break after doing a nearby hike. Their drinks are amazingggg. The bagel sandwiches were pretty good too. Will definitely be returning. This is a spot worth checking out!

I've been coming to Provision State at least a few times a year since it opened. Including yesterday. If I had remembered that I had left a 4 Star review, I would have upgraded to 5 Stars earlier. PS is a great local coffee shop. Their coffee is a couple of notches above average. Like yesterday, my black iced coffee was fruit forward and bright, which was great and is hard to find. The seating area is comfortable with lots of natural light. Since my initial review, they've filled some of the negative floor space with additional seating and added some decorative accents. So the atmosphere has improved over time. There are almost always a number of people at PS, which is a sign that you are a well loved coffee shop and part of the community. 5 Stars

Provision State Coffee is a great place to work/study. There's free wifi and plenty of seating and large tables and outlets, and the music is just calm enough to give you background noise without distracting you. I got the seasonal Pumpkin Oatmilk Iced Chai and a chocolate chip cookie. Neither was outstanding. I wasn't a huge fan of the chai, but it wasn't bad. The pastries are all on the smaller side, but I enjoyed the cookie. My total came to almost $12, and the chai was listed as $7 on the board so something seems off with the pricing, and I'm not sure it's worth getting a pastry here. There are better places if you're looking for delicious drinks and sweets, but Provision State Coffee provides a good working environment.

Provision State Coffee is a great spot for a quick coffee or to sit in for a bit. I've visited a few times now because they are an easy detour to my destinations. The cafe is located in the Kensington part of Berlin, a cute town area. They do close early on the weekends (2pm/1pm) so they are my first stop for a caffeine fuel up. The menu is simple with your coffee staples, teas, fresh baked goods, breakfast sandwiches and toast. They brew a small batch roaster coffee from Massachusetts called Little Wolf Coffee and they have a selection of Harney & Sons Tea. Provision State Coffee also has signature lattes, seasonal drinks and food items. The flavor syrups are even house-made like lavender, vanilla, honey and nutmeg. They have delicious toasts like their Caprese and Prosciutto that is loaded with a creamy ricotta with toppings. It's a great snack to eat in and have a cup of coffee. If you eat in, drinks are pour in nice drinkware and plates. Plus, the latte art and how they decorate their drinks is a nice touch. My favorite coffee drink from PSC is their signature latte called the Nutmegger. It's spicy with nutmeg, cinnamon, and the coffee is strong. During my most recent trip, I tried their seasonal drink called Butterfly Kiss. It was a house-made earl grey tea concentrate with lavender and oat milk. The tea had notes of vanilla, light floral taste, and was creamy. If you find yourself near Provision State Coffee, give them a try! This place isn't on everyone's radar and they are brewing and baking some great stuff. I love that their coffee and teas are simple with small creative twists.

Provisions is such a warm, welcoming and bright place to stop! Their staff are friendly and know how to have a good recommendation from the menu. They have their staple coffee (and non-coffee) choices as well as a rotating seasonal menu. Their baked goods, made In house are delicious and on weekends they highlight pop tarts (just like our childhood memories but 100x better!) I love that they offer a lot of seating and variety of options (low, high tables, comfy chairs, and a large gathering table). They feature different local artists on their walls monthly, have pop up vendors weekly and offer flowers most weekends. They truly are so connected with their community and are always coming up with new ideas! They are conveniently located off the main street and have plenty of parking!

Was in Kensington and picked this spot for my daily study sesh. Got the vanilla latte and it was sooo good the employees were friendly and service was quick. They offer free wifi and an ample amount of seating. Love how bright it is with the sun coming in through all the windows will be a repeat customer for sure!

They have a wonderful selection of coffee drinks and I really enjoyed the nutmegger. I have moved away from Connecticut, but love coming here when I visit. Last time I had visited I had my mother and her small dog accompanying me. We were able to comfortably sit outside under an umbrella and they had a cute dog bowl outside for the fluffy one

Was driving through Berlin and needed some coffee! Stopped here and was very happy! The girl at the register walked me through their coffee menu, their food offerings and other items they sell. I got a cappuccino with vanilla and a everything bagel. I NEVER get bagels from coffee shops bc they tend to be stale /cardboardy but this one I could tell would be good (lack of a hole is a sign of a good bagel imo) and it was! The coffee was also very good- the vanilla flavor was different then others I've had- I think they make it in house. Overall very friendly service, everything was delicious and it was quick! I would return if in the area again

This was my first time visiting here, but definitely won't be the last. I was so impressed with the delicious food, the beautiful shop, and the excellent service. Don't pass it by!

Charming cafe. I had an ice cold brew and shared their specialty toast topped with ricotta, peaches, prosciutto and granola with my husband. I also had an iced chai to go and my husband had the avocado chocolate chip muffin that was perfectly moist. It was all delicious and so glad we stopped on our drive back home to Maryland.

Provision State Coffee is a beautiful coffee shop. It is clean, vibrant, with plenty of natural sunlight. Each table had a small bouquet of fresh hydrangeas on it. They also have a patio with yellow umbrellas outside. My friend and I both came here for the first time. They had some baked goods, chia pudding and similar type of snacks. On their Specials Menu they had the Thunderbolt, which really had me intrigued.. I was in a sleepy mood, this sounded like the type of drink that would do me good. My friend got their Indigo Punch Iced Tea. This place is so beautiful, they have neon paintings of women inspired by photos found at vintage shops. This is a brilliant idea. It brings such an interesting dynamic to this space! Our drinks were ready pretty quickly, and came out in actual glasses. We also got one of their Superfood breakfast cookies. We sat outside on their patio. My coffee was delicious. I was really curious in this, it was a mix of lemonade and espresso. It for sure gave me a good kick! It was a really well balanced mix of bitterness and sweetness! My friend also loved her iced tea, she said it was refreshing and subtlety sweet. The superfood cookie, was interesting. You can clearly see all the ingredients in it. There's pumpkin seeds, cranberries, rolled oats, etc, The problem was this was very dry, and had no taste to it. I appreciate that it's all natural without any added sugar. It's also pretty chewy since it's so thin. Despite the not so great cookie, we really enjoyed our time at Provision State Coffee. They make excellent coffee, in a beautiful and inviting space! They also have a collection of board games you can play!

Absolutely. Same super lovely baristas who were extremely helpful and gave clear descriptions of their monthly specials. The "Fall in Love" was a no brainer after she told what it was specifically. It was a brown sugar/white chocolate latte, with chai (so basically a dirty chai latte), and I forgot what she said it was specifically, but a spiced cold foam. It was incredible. Deep well rounded flavors without going too far with the spices. They had to use high quality spices to achieve that taste. So comforting without being overly sweet or heavy. I brought my mom and she raved about their tiramisu latte. She thought it was the best version she's had. I don't know that I would go quite that far (having tasted it), simply because I've had many, but it was an excellent one. I hate when places use a catchy title just because of some ingredients that they used. This actually did mirror tiramisu which I'm extremely particular of, so MAJOR points for that. The whole experience really brightened our morning. Can't wait to make it a more regular stop!
