This is one of those places you walk into and immediately relax…read more Sadie's Sunrise Café has that clean, airy, artsy neighborhood vibe, local artwork on the walls, a few quirky touches hanging from the ceiling, natural light pouring in, and just enough buzz to feel alive without being chaotic. It's not trying too hard, and that's exactly why it works. Feels like a spot where regulars post up, sip coffee, and take their time. No rush, no nonsense, ust good energy. And then the sandwich shows up... and flips the script. This isn't breakfast. This is a stacked, unapologetic morning statement. The Overloaded Egg Sando Griddled brioche bun, soft, buttery, just enough toast to hold things together (barely). Under that, a crispy hash brown doing the heavy lifting, adding crunch and soaking up all the goodness. Sausage brings that savory backbone, while the spinach scrambled eggs stay fluffy and rich. Then you get that creamy hit from the smashed avocado, melted smoked gouda layering in a subtle smokiness, and finally... the gochujang aioli. That aioli is the move. Sweet heat, a little funk, a little tang, cuts right through the richness and keeps every bite from getting too heavy. And let's be honest... Had to unhinge my jaw like a snake just to take the first bite. This thing is messy, stacked, and fully committed to the cause. Not first-date food. Not "eat it in the car" food. This is sit-down, take-a-minute, maybe-need-a-nap-after kind of food. The best part? The space balances it perfectly. Big, bold sandwich... calm, easygoing room. That's a combo I'll go back for every time.

I didn't know this place was a hidden gem!…read more I ordered a bacon egg and cheese which came on a croissant, two eggs, and a side of hashbrowns I also tried their homemade triple berry jam, and I absolutely had to buy a jar! Morning cravings. I drove by here a couple of times and…read moretoday we decided to try it. It was a busy morning since businesses in the area were without power due to a recent storm. The place was buzzing with activity. We got to seat at the front counter so I couldn't see the dining room but I enjoyed watching everyone working together to make everything happen. One of the things that caught my attention was the juicer. They have an actual orange juice machine and I wanted to try that juice so bad and when ai did I couldn't believe how good it tasted. Our food was good also, the only thing I didn't like was how small the portions were, you can actually count my potatoes, by the time the dish made it to me they were cold. Pancakes very plain. Im a huge fan of eggs Benedict so I decided to try the country Benedict( 4th of July special) , a bit dry because of the biscuit and not enough sauce but tasted good. I would come back for the OJ

Once seated it was a tight squeeze. Their menu features toast, pancakes, wraps, waffles and omelets. My two friends got very tasty looking omelets. My other friend and I got Stuffed French Toast to share. The Banana Split Stuffed French Toast was plenty big for us to share. This French Toast was stuffed with whipped cream cheese, surrounded by banana halves and strawberries. There was a little ice cream cone in the middle of the French toast filled with more cream cheese. Thank goodness we shared this, even then we couldn't finish it. This French toast was so fresh, everything was melting on it. Their prices are very reasonable, no wonder it was so packed. I would return here again.

Monday mid-morning and packed but found a both [same as last time I was here years ago] quickly, Good assortment of daily specials but with my temp crown I needed something easy to chew. Very successfully found something: short stack of pancakes and a poached egg in a cup. The egg was perfect as my appetizer to the plate of two large pancakes. The 'small stack' of pancakes was delicious and the whipped butter and syrup added to the delight. The coffee is great and easy refills. Saw the train that moves across the track on the ceiling which was very calming. Calming was needed as everyone was in a good mood and the convos were flying. Great service. I promised to come back and eat something from the daily special next time!

Today I took the drive to Cozy Cup in Berlin. It's been a little while since I've heard of them,…read morealthough they are newer. This is a small cafe with some desserts and pastries. They also make coffee and fresh juices. It was a bit awkward because I was the only one here. No one stopped by to pick a coffee on the go, or anything. My self and the two ladies working were the only ones here. I got a caramel latte. It was ready quickly. Unfortunately it wasn't very good. It was all milk and caramel syrup, with hardly any coffee at all. It also arrived in a generic paper cup. This is a bit against the "cozy" theme if you ask me. Cozy Cup is cute inside, their pastries might be worth trying, but the coffee was a miss for me.

Nobody was in front and I probably waited about 45 seconds before a nice person came out to help me. I sometimes speak of the shock and awe factor when you first see a bakery's case. I wasn't shocked or awed in terms of the number of options and/or quantity of items available, but I bought a few things for my family to try. The best thing was a long pastry stuffed with guava and cheese and topped withsugar crystals. Very tasty. The other items (tres leches cake, banana bread, brownie and pumpkin flan) were all about average. Cozy Cup is fine, but I prefer other bakeries in my general area. 3 Stars

I ordered my favorite Giv drink, an iced mocha, which was perfection. I also had a waffle, an absolute must-order, and the chicken caesar wrap, which was packed with tender, juicy chicken and full of flavor. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything ran on day one. Service was exceptionally fast, especially for opening day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, and everything was inaccurately clean. Berlin is so lucky to have this addition to the local food scene. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Seed is open in Glastonbury and in Berlin. I went to the one in Berlin. The interior is super cute! They have comfy seating, with a little bookshelf. They also have bar seating. The art is colorful and inviting. It looks like they will begin serving ice cream soon. The girl at the counter was very patient as I studied the menu. I decided on the Banana French Toast Latte. This was very tasty, you could taste the banana and honey and for sure the cinnamon. After my coffee, I decided I should stay for lunch. I got the Garden Nova bagel. I got the cheddar bagel, it was soft and airy, topped with melted cheddar. It was generously filled with salmon, cream cheese, pickled onions, cucumbers, slow roasted tomatoes, and arugula. It was hearty and delicious! I had this at 12:00 o'clock, I didn't eat anything else for the rest of the day. It was that filling! Seed has endless breakfast and lunch options, not to mention coffee and other drinks. I will be back to try more.

There's always something we are excited to check out when we haven't been in a while. The restaurant is both nice enough that you feel really good bringing your out of town friends here to try and impress while also being low-key enough for a simple date night with your significant other. They have a few non-alcoholic drink options. As someone who's living the sober lifestyle, it's always nice to see that. The restaurant is well managed and well maintained. Always clean, servers seem invested. It doesn't hurt to make a reservation if you're coming on a Friday or weekend night. Chicken is the star of the show here, and we almost always order that with some of the ala carte sides, but my wife also likes to grab something else off the menu and I'll usually sneak a bite. We've never had anything that fell below expectations.
