I visited this Rebel Dog around the time they opened in September. It is takeout only, although I believe there may have been some outside seating. Parking is limited and you're encouraged to order ahead. In addition to coffee, they have breakfast and lunch food. I ordered a black iced coffee, which was decent. Better than a lot of the drive thrus where you would get coffee, but I wouldn't compare their coffee to one of the craft coffee places. One of the cool things about Rebel Dog, is they allow a lot more customization of breakfast sandwiches than any similar place I visit. They have 6 different cheeses including Gouda. 9 different proteins including falafel. A bunch of bread options. A bunch of add-ons like arugula, bacon sauerkraut and capers. A bunch of different sauce options. I bet there are thousands of possible combinations. I ordered a ham, fried egg and cheese, with a red sauce that I want to say was chipotle tequila lime, all on an everything bagel. The bagel was decent. The fried egg was more well done than I like. Overall the sandwich was good. A nice addition to the area. 4 Stars

Visited this coffee shop because it was apart of the Hartford crawl. I enjoyed a cosmic brownie iced latte. It was delicious. It Tasted just as described. My partner got a dunkaroo iced latte. It looked yummy. Staff was friendly here and service was fast. Prices are fair.

    Cool modern design inside!

I ordered my favorite Giv drink, an iced mocha, which was perfection. I also had a waffle, an absolute must-order, and the chicken caesar wrap, which was packed with tender, juicy chicken and full of flavor. What impressed me most was how smoothly everything ran on day one. Service was exceptionally fast, especially for opening day, and the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. There is plenty of seating both inside and outside, and everything was inaccurately clean. Berlin is so lucky to have this addition to the local food scene. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

Seed is open in Glastonbury and in Berlin. I went to the one in Berlin. The interior is super cute! They have comfy seating, with a little bookshelf. They also have bar seating. The art is colorful and inviting. It looks like they will begin serving ice cream soon. The girl at the counter was very patient as I studied the menu. I decided on the Banana French Toast Latte. This was very tasty, you could taste the banana and honey and for sure the cinnamon. After my coffee, I decided I should stay for lunch. I got the Garden Nova bagel. I got the cheddar bagel, it was soft and airy, topped with melted cheddar. It was generously filled with salmon, cream cheese, pickled onions, cucumbers, slow roasted tomatoes, and arugula. It was hearty and delicious! I had this at 12:00 o'clock, I didn't eat anything else for the rest of the day. It was that filling! Seed has endless breakfast and lunch options, not to mention coffee and other drinks. I will be back to try more.

Absolutely. Same super lovely baristas who were extremely helpful and gave clear descriptions of their monthly specials. The "Fall in Love" was a no brainer after she told what it was specifically. It was a brown sugar/white chocolate latte, with chai (so basically a dirty chai latte), and I forgot what she said it was specifically, but a spiced cold foam. It was incredible. Deep well rounded flavors without going too far with the spices. They had to use high quality spices to achieve that taste. So comforting without being overly sweet or heavy. I brought my mom and she raved about their tiramisu latte. She thought it was the best version she's had. I don't know that I would go quite that far (having tasted it), simply because I've had many, but it was an excellent one. I hate when places use a catchy title just because of some ingredients that they used. This actually did mirror tiramisu which I'm extremely particular of, so MAJOR points for that. The whole experience really brightened our morning. Can't wait to make it a more regular stop!

The barista then came into the lobby, closed the door, and smiled directly at me, which made me think she was returning to prepare my drinks. Instead, she picked up both tickets, looked at them, and threw them away without starting my order. She then began cleaning the machines and eventually went to the back, leaving me waiting for about 20 minutes with no update. When she returned, I asked for a refund since I needed to leave. Rather than processing it, she repeatedly insisted on making the drink, even after I clearly said I preferred a refund. She told me she would process my refund. Two days later the charge went through. The interaction felt confusing and poorly handled. I completed their survey, submitted a comment via their website, and sent them a Yelp message. Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. They are good classic dunker style doughnuts though.

My BF got an iced coffee, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We grabbed an assortment of donuts to try, since it was our first time here. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, and it was nice and cinnamon-ey which I love. I also got the cruller to enjoy later. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!
