It looks like what you want a vintage donut shop to look like. Swiches shares its space with a CPA I believe, and each store front has 70s metal benches in front of them. There's also a drive up around the building, so watch traffic. The interior also is very 70s, with tables, booths, and even little bar stools on the side. They serve Coke products from a cooler, and have a wall of donuts and bagels. The bagels range from tradition with sprinkles to newer varieties with fruity pebbles. The cake was a little chewy but overall a great donut. The women behind the counter were really friendly and inviting.

I've visited twice in the past 9 months, including this week. Swiches, which used to be Whole Donut, has a great overall Yelp rating. After seeing the name in Yelp search results, I have to confess that I assumed Swiches was an abbreviation for sandwiches and that Swiches was a sandwich shop. On my first visit, I remember being surprised when I arrived in the afternoon to discover Swiches is primarily a donut shop. I bought a cherry donut and a bagel on that first visit. I remember thinking that the Cherry Donut was outstanding and the bagel was decent. I forgot to leave a review. Instead of scrolling through all my pics to leave a proper review, I just returned this week and took new pics. My cherry donut (like a glazed blueberry donut) this week was good, but not as good as I remember. The outer and inner texture weren't quite as good. I would guess it was made that day, but it didn't seem quite as fresh. My son gave me a couple bites of his Bacon Egg and Cheese on an Everything Bagel. The bagel was better than I remember. It was a pretty good BEC. There is seating inside and they also have a drive thru. The seating area does not have a lot of space in between tables and seats, and seats and other seats. I'm not sure everybody would find the seating comfortable. Swiches is a good donut shop and certainly better than the most common national donut chain in terms of donuts and BEC's. For me, it doesn't rise to 5 Star territory for CT donuts though. Four Stars

Switches, Formerly known as the whole donut is a great spot for donuts and coffee!! They offered a wide variety of donuts and they were really good!

I read an enthusiastic recommendation for the apple fritters on social media and I soooo love apple fritters that within a day I found myself at the counter ordering a pair. If size matters, this is the place you should head for because the apple fritters are largest I have ever encountered. If quality matters, than you should travel elsewhere because this (singular because the second one found its way into the garbage) was the worst apple fritter I have ever experienced.

They have drive thru!!!!! Cool!!!!! Today I had a Sesame Bagel w/Cream Cheese and it was perfect! Toasted just right with a textbook amount of cream cheese, just perfect. I always get donuts from here and they never disappoint me. They have a decent variety and I have yet have an issue with their quality or prices. Everything is reasonable! Their service is also very good. Quick and super friendly. I just think it's so cool to see such a simple place that isn't a chain utilizing a drive through! Drive up to the window to make your order!

I've stopped here a few times since my initial review. The coffee is hit or miss, it's not always fresh or consistent with the amount of cream or sugar added. The donut holes always have a bit of a crisp as if they're a bit overfried which I like but may not be for everyone. They also have cherry donut holes which is different so if you're a cherry fan, give those a try! The whole donuts they sell are also tasty. I've never had an issue in regards to the service & it seems to be family owned. The inside is dated but it always appears to be clean. Overall, it's decent compared to other chains.. I'll go back when I'm in the area.

Apple cider, sour cream, cherry cake...donut heaven.

COVID-19 era review: Dunkin Donuts has friendly folks, but it was right for them to drop "donuts" from their name. That and their coffee tastes like being late to work. Hence we came here instead. We still found friendly folks, our breakfast sandwich was made quick...and the donuts are glorious. Don't make your brain ache trying to pick 1-2, just make it a half dozen and share. We found pumpkin spice and apple cider, perfect for the approach of fall. The raspberry jelly was loaded, and the sour cream has a nice hint of savory. Blueberry cake was out but cherry cake donut was a great alternative. They didn't have dark roast coffee iced, but regular was spot on. There isn't any indoor seating right now, the view of the donut gallery isn't diminished by the Plexiglass over the register, and please do wear as mask like the sign on the door says. Since they are kind, quick, and consistent, I'd also recommend bringing cash for the tip jar. In all, this is the perfect cheat day stop!

The name changed but the coffee and donuts are exactly the same and as delicious as ever. Iced toasted almond with cream is my current obsession.

Particularly during the holidays, where he is talking about how to prepare your holiday meals. Second, my friend from New Jersey is probably the Duchess of Stew Leonard's and I had to see what this was all about. Here is my story It's like going to a Trader Joe's if you're on the West Coast, BuCees if you're on Central and southeast part of the country or I don't know I suppose a typical local giant supermarket. Here are my observations. They accommodate the local people they have so many things you can do with your children. If you're shopping in the store, they have mascots and different games you can play. The store is clean and organize organized There are many local products, they support the local community Would I go back? Probably if I lived closer, I would love to buy their vegetables which was very neatly displayed and priced. They were busy! That says something right?

They also had other options like Burgers, and Hotdogs. Wonderful way to end my grocery shopping day

First of all the owner and employees are wicked friendly and appreciative of your business. I definitely got the make-you-feel-like family vibe they offer. It was noticed and appreciated. They have a display of all the days baked goods, lots of different danish, cinnamon rolls, and really interesting pizza-like items. I went basic though and just got a regular coffee and egg and bacon sandwich. The sandwich was good, it was basically a cheesy omelette on a very fresh roll. I enjoyed it. The coffee, wasn't the freshest though and honestly a little burnt and plastic-y tasting. I also tried the blueberry cheese danish which was delicious. What I didn't really enjoy, yet understand to a degree, is the pricing and the itemized fees on the receipt. They are a small business, so I understand the struggles and necessity. However they are charging an "Inflation Service Charge" of 4% on top of the subtotal. My receipt also indicated another "Service Charge" of 4%, presumably because I paid with a credit card. In the end, a coffee, a latte, an egg sandwich, and a danish, 7.35% tax, and a tip cost me over $40. I think to me, it is psychological, while I understand they need to increase what customers pay, I guess I just rather they build it into the listed item price rather than tack it on at the end.

When it was my turn to order, I asked what kind they had and the woman taking orders said a few things, but all I heard was strawberry. In part because I don't have the best hearing, and in part because there is a plastic shield separating customers from the employees. I asked if she could repeat the types. She stared at me unhappily for about 10 seconds, seemingly trying to make me feel uncomfortable. I said I couldn't hear you. There was obviously a bit of an issue understanding each other, but it became clear that I was asking her to say the choices again. She ultimately repeated them. Complete with annoyed glances. After I heard the types, I said I wanted the strawberry. She said "how many?" I said just one because I wanted to eat it then and didn't need any for later. From her body language and the disturbed look in her eyes, I could tell that she was unhappy, that I was getting just one. Like I was inconveniencing her by making her put forth such effort for just one paczki. I responded that I didn't want it anymore and walked out. I can't remember the last time a person working in a business has been that openly rude to me. I'll never be back. 1 Star
