I was up visiting customers and I wanted to get them breakfast, but I didn't wanna do Dunkin. Everybody gets Dunkin. I want them to feel special. So I turned the Yelp started looking at donuts spots. When perusing I saw this place had a blueberry filled doughnut, which I wanted myself. So I chose this place and it's cool cause they have a drive-through and I know that's nothing special when you're going to chain places. Most places that are not chains do not have drive-through. The blueberry diet was awesome. I got a coffee for myself and a bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel wasn't bad but it didn't blow me away like the blueberry doughnut. Then I got a dozen donuts and like a coffee party box that came with a ton of sugar and milk and everything you could need for a coffee station. It was a hit with the crew. My only complaint was the car that I had was a rental and it was kind of shorter so when handing the box out to me, the donut box almost spilled, and then the box with the coffee and all the accoutrements started to rip. So though the drive-through was a plus at first, it almost was the beginning to a very bad day. Trust me, I work in Paper and Paper board what you put something in is important. I have gotten donuts from Donut Station a couple of times now, and I enjoy them. I would not say they blow me away or anything, but they are just good, well done donuts. Boston cream stand out. While I haven't tried it myself, I know several people who rave about the Don-olli. The staff is always very friendly. It isn't huge, but there are a few tables to sit with your coffee or donut, but I have only taken mine to go. Some of the coffee drinks on the menu have caught my eye, but I have yet to try one. They have a drive-thru as well! While not a favorite, don't really have any negatives either. It is a good donut option. read more

Fresh donuts early in the morning is always a plus! My son likes the sugar donut from here, he's very picky on where the donuts come from. We try to come here after his therapy session but sometimes they don't always have it available or sell out quickly in the morning. Pretty disappointing considering the reviews. My girlfriend and I went here, got a half dozen donuts and two smoothies. Some of the donuts were good and generously iced, but others like the chocolate donut and the danoli were boring and kinda dry. The smoothies were bad. Just fruit and yogurt. My girlfriend couldn't get past a few sips because the banana in hers tasted old. We'll go elsewhere in the future. read more

I've worked up in Hartford for years and finally someone suggested the donut station to me because the hardest thing to find is a good cup of coffee and a doughnut. And let me tell you from start to finish. This was a fantastic experience. Felt very underwhelmed which is disappointing given it has good reviews. Donuts were dry, even my son who loves chocolate frosted with sprinkles said his donut taste dry, like the sprinkles were old. Driving through the are househunting and I saw this place, I never liked Dunkin' Donuts so I always look out for a real shop. The staff is extremely friendly and the inside is very clean. I just ate what is possibly the worst donut I've ever had in my entire life. This place doesn't really have a great selection so I ordered a blueberry cake doughnut along with coffee and breakfast sandwich. Breakfast sandwich was OK. However, the doughnut was an edible for the following reasons.: One it almost tasted raw two I think they were fake blueberries and the whole thing was purple and just I couldn't even eat it. Is the Donnoli from the new Donut Station n Wethersfield one of the best donuts I've had in a while? Yes. Is it cheating for a donut to be filled with delicious cannoli-style sweetened ricotta? The donuts are exactly how you think high quality donuts should taste, soft and dense (but not too dense). Pretty good! I heard some buzz about this place last week and decided to try it out. It ran by veterans. I was surprised they were open at 5:30pm and still had a wide variety of doughnuts. The place was clean and neat. And I had the friendliest cashier. What surprised me the most was their drink menu. From hot to frozen I couldn't decide so I will make that a different trip. I got the 1 chocolate glaze one glazed and a live of the banana bread. The banana bread was dry so I didn't revisit that. The doughnuts are a little on the dense side which I'm starting to think is a New England thing. I prefer a fluffy air like doughnut. But the flavor was good. For the longest time I avoided coming here, because I just wasn't really sure what to expect. Having lived in Los Angeles, I was used to Randy's donuts or other places similar to that. I was afraid that this was going to be a cheap knock off of that, but boy was I wrong. The donuts are absolutely delicious! We've been coming here since day one, and the donuts are usually fresh unless you go late in the day, but the service has definitely gone down hill. When it first opened, the staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful, but lately that's not the case. The staff seems like robots and don't seem to care that you're there. During our last visit, there was a group of workers standing around and talking non-stop. Someone was at the counter and helped us right away, but it was clear that chit-chat was their top priority. We wanted to try a different style donut and asked if the filling was sweet and were told, "Yes, it is." It wasn't. It was the most unsweet filling possible. The last time we got donuts from here, it was late in the afternoon, and the donuts were moldy when we woke up the next day, so we asked how best to store them so that wouldn't happen again...should we store them on the counter or what? My family and I love this place! We have struggled to find a donut place we really liked. This place has great donuts that my family enjoys such as original glaze, chocolate cake and sprinkles of course. They also have a few bakery items such as cinnamon roll and danishes. The donolli (cannoli and donut) is one of my favorite which is made fresh. The staff is also super nice and quickly get through the lines. Very nice local donut shop. The Donut Station is a nice local alternative to the two big guys on the block. Breakfast sandwiches are delicious and donuts are tasty. Best part is you can salt and pepper to your liking lol I love pumpkin iced coffees, but I wasn't thrilled with their version of it. The foam didn't compare to the other guys, otherwise great regular coffee, and espressos. Customer service really shines here. I've come in various times and they seem to really enjoy working there and helping customers. Keep local businesses thriving and support the little guy. read more

I've been patiently waiting for this spot to open up and finally had the opportunity to stop in the afternoon for some of those fresh soft donuts everyone's been talking about. The second you walk through the door you're met with the enticing aroma of proofing dough and coffee. The interior design is clean, modern, and inviting. The staff were very friendly and eager to help me choose my donuts. I decided to stick with the classic chocolate covered and sugar donuts to get a sense of the nuances of the dough's flavor. The donuts were a bit denser than I anticipated, very similar to a loaf of Japanese milk bread but the salt within and the umami you get from it being deep friend was a nice contrast to the sugar coating and chocolate. The iced latte was on par with some of those big coffee chains out of Seattle. I'd love to come back here one morning to try one hot off the line! read more

The location is easy to get in and out of. Parking lot is nice and free of debris. They can get pretty busy but they offer a order ahead option. This option allows customers to pay ahead for their call auras of at least a half a dozen or a dozen donuts. The donuts are all beautifully made and delicious! We got the brownies, half a dozen donuts, and three specialties! The staff are extremely friendly and collaborative when working together.
